vegetables and certain fruits can last for prolonged periods of time. Take for example the carob fruit, it can last for over a year. There's also seaweed and other types of foliage from their nets.

Underwater? Didn't they all get turned to oil?

We are not talking about on the ark, but after, when they made their way back home? What did the carnivores eat?

No, only the plant matter that was buried beneath mud would have been pressurized into oil.

You know dried fish can last for 6 to 12 months? They likely had all sorts of natural food preservation knowledge. You're assuming these people are imbeciles, but, according to the historical record, they were more in-tune with life than we are today.

If you can build a 1.8 million cubic meter ark, you can build a big net too. They probably had more food than they knew what to do with.

has anyone suggested the global 'Flood' was Cosmic Ice-Water like another Star's Oort cloud bombarding Earth with 2 mile deep of water-ice Space debris...

volcanoes,, sunlight would melt the ice forth with....
'fountains-of-the-Deep' is poetic for Space instead of underground springs/wells

If the water was salty enough to preserve fish it would have destroyed the lands ability to grow most vegetation.

Also, we are not talking about human knowledge of preservation. Could Noah and his family even preserve enough fish to feed two of each animal on earth?

Like I said, you have nothing but weak arguments.

The oblate spheroid part is certainly not theoretical the shape of the planet has been known for 1000s of years.

It's not an assumption but a fact.

The ancient Greeks even knew the rough shape and size/diameter of the planet.

And there is no real doubt that our world just like all the rest that comprise our star system are oblate spheroid in shape.

As to humans being 4D beings, sorry but our brains operate and function in 3 dimensions.

So, while humans are 4-dimensional entities where the concept of time is considered, we cannot manipulate it in the same manner we can the other dimensions of length, width, and height.

I suppose it could be said that humans experience 3 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension.

But events unfold in the one direction, which is an essential component of our existence.

And if you do not think so good luck taking a crap in a universe where time runs backwards.

I think that was an old "Red Dwarf" episode.

You didn't answer the question. Noah had to have a years supply of food and water for each animal. Fruit, veggies and meat do not last that long. Pandas HAVE TO have bamboo. Noah couldn't get that. Koalas HAVE TO have eucalyptus. Noah couldn't get that. AYE-AYE only eat insects. Did Noah have a years supply of insects for both Aye-Aye? The Ostrich has to eat gravel in it's diet or it dies. Did Noah have a years supply of gravel on the ark for both ostrich. Giant Anteaters eat only termites and ants. Did Noah have a room full of ants and termites for them? Same with Pangolins. And what did the termites eat ... the ark? The star nosed mole only eats worms, insects, and other small invertebrates that they find in the soil. Did Noah have a supply of this in the ark? The hoatzin eats only flowers and leaves. How did Noah keep a fresh supply of flowers for a year on the ark? The walrus eats only clams, snails, and other mollusks. How did Noah keep a fresh years supply of those on the ark? The platypus eats only aquatic insects, crustaceans, and mollusks. How did Noah keep a fresh years supply of those on the ark? Snail kites are found in South America and eat only apple snails from that area. Did Noah go to South America and get a years supply of apple snails for the Snail Kites to eat? How did he keep those snails alive for a year on the ark? Monarch butterflies eat nectar. Did Noah have flowering plants on the ark for the butterflies? But as caterpillars, they only eat the leaves of the toxic milkweed plant. Did he have a years supply of milkweed plants and how did he keep them fresh? Black-footed ferrets will only eat prairie dogs. Did Noah have a years supply of prairie dogs on the ark and how did he keep all those prairie dogs alive for a year? The pen-tailed treeshrew of Thailand and Indonesia only drinks the naturally fermented nectar of the bertam palm. How the heck did Noah pull off having Bertram palm trees on the ark and keep them alive? Did he go to Thailand and get some ahead of time? Deep-keeled flamingo eat plankton and algae, and filter with water through their beaks. How did Noah pull that off? And of course we have BEES - who need fresh flowers. Did Noah have a meadow of flowers on the ark to keep alive like a hot house or something? The Northern Shrike has to have spiney plants to stick insects on to eat. It only eats parts of the insect and has to have the plants. Did Noah have those plants on board and how did he keep them alive, and enough insects for the birds for a year? The leafcutter ant has to have fresh leaves to cut and add it's saliva to in order to make the fungus that it eats. Did Noah have years supply of FRESH leaves for the ants? How?

Now that would have had to be a big boat ...

Estimates range from 3 million to 100 million or even more. Taxonomists--biologists who specialize in identifying and classifying life on the planet--have named approximately 1.7 million species so far. Each year, about 13,000 more species are added to the list of known organisms.

There is no way anything could have collected 2 of each from around the world we are still discovering new species .

No, you can't. Four men in 2400 BC couldn't. They didn't know how. They didn't have the materials. They didn't have the time. It would have rotted away before they got to finish it.

Water is the other red flag. All the water after the flood would have been salty, even if it wasn't as salty as sea water is today, there would still be no fresh water to drink.

Imagine the stench of all those fish dying off both fresh and salt . Not just from salinity change the water temp and PH would have changed drastically most aquatic life would have been wiped out .

Dead oceans. Plankton all dead.
And dead oceans mean a dead planet.
Half of the worlds oxygen comes from the oceans.

FFS and we get the blame for wrecking the planet.

This God fellow, Noah knows, seems to be responsible for rather a lot of chaos and carnage.

Hence the created in his image part i suppose.

Tha means Noah would have had to build a fresh water aquarium on the ark to keep a pair of each of the fresh water animals alive as well.

The pandas could have walked to the ark but how did fresh water fish from around the planet get to it?

Why cant it be taken seriously...?

You think your ancestors the world over are trying to laarp you. Or where they trying to share an event. The flood mythology is common the world over in all the most sacred of stories...

exactly. Especially if literacy rates were as low as historians estimate, then all the more reason that the scribes were not simply writing fairy tales.[/quman.

Robert Sepher talks about the different flood myths in different cultures and provides great insights.

This the fellow?

A US far-right figure peddling antisemitic conspiracy theories has been ostracised by his army of followers after his Jewish roots were revealed.

Robert Sepehr had amassed more than 580,000 subscribers on YouTube with his racist theories about humanity’s origins and claims about Jews.

But he has now been dubbed the “enemy” by his former fellow travellers after his own family history emerged.

Sepehr’s father, Ben-Hur Sepehr, was a Jewish director who made an award-winning film about the Holocaust.

Robert Sepehr’s publishing company is registered as a Jewish charity for tax purposes, it can also be disclosed.

The revelations have horrified the followers who were drawn by Sepehr’s extremist views.

They're obviously a result of domestication, their lineage can be traced back to wolves.

Different breeds of dogs have come about largely by selective breeding.
Some wolves started following hunter/gatherers as they moved looking for game.
They gradually became accustomed to human presence and a mutually beneficial relationship developed.

Dogs with similar desired attributes were bred together to enhance their respective skills.
Their evolution to different breeds took hundreds and yes, thousands, of years.

We now have a much greater understanding of selective breeding and we have an abundance of different breeds.
We can pick and choose specific dogs/breeds with specific qualities to develop new breeds.

To think that all the different breeds of dogs - wild and domesticated - and the different types of wolves all descend from just two wolves that Noah saved from the Great Flood approximately 4-6 thousand years ago defies logic.

How did Noah feed these wolves and all the other carnivores?
How did they eat when the water receded and they were let out into the wild again? What other animals did they eat as there were only two of each species?

See thats it.

Nail, head, hammer, mate.

And perfectly illustrated for everyone to see who cares to even think.

If animals eat other animals, and they do, and there are only two of every animal according to the tale on this super TARDIS boat type thingamabob.

The food chain and natural order of things would seem to suggest Noah and his Ark are proper fu@ked.

I mean the story is just full of holes.

Which funnily enough is another thing the boat would need to be full of, if the animals wished to breathe.

As i don't think Noah mentions the ventilation system on his magical mystical superyacht tour much.

The Old testament has the Ark Story with the Animals when they wrote the New testament even they took that part out , No mention of the ark with animals . Why did they write a New Testament ? Because people started to realize the old one was not possible they got smarter , So to avoid obvious questions bam Here's a New one !

I reckon we are due for a newer New one pretty soon The Newest Testament !
