This is mainly due to his personality. A combination of moderate intelligence, a sense of public-schooled entitlement and a gargantuan ego has generated the event horizon of smugness – a man so full of himself it’s a wonder light can escape his presence.

There is no confirmation of this.
In effect you are doing exactly what Tate did.

No you claimed he was a Christian based on rumour and some reporting - particularly from O'Brien.

Also, Farage was discussing whether the police were withholding information and used Tate as an example of online speculation - not as a source to substantiate anything.
So, you are also lying, which shows that you are willful in your deception, just like O'Brien.

Basically, you are behaving just like Tate and Farage.
Personally, I think that shouldn't mean jail time, but by your standard your words should certainly mean time behind bars.

I couldn't care less what religion he follows.

Even if he is, the right thing to do is actually disregard religious beliefs and not smear a religion by focusing on it.
