See what I mean about truth and rationality? No amount can prevail where/when a mind is incapable of processing it.

From the link..

reflecting Moscow's growing confidence that its forces have the upper hand in the war.

The reality is that Russia does indeed possess the upper hand.
This would be a good starting point for negotiations.
This deal sucks yet considering the alternative, Ukraine losing the whole country, it’s a workable start to something peaceful.
Each day that war rages, the less leverage Ukraine has.
They don’t have unlimited meat bags to throw in the pile.
Time is not on their side.
They can’t win a war of attrition versus Russia.
Ask Nazi Germany how that ends.

We are in year 3 of a war in which Russia held every card at the start and is still no where near anything that could be described as a victory. This conflict has been a disaster for Russia on every level

My history may be a bit hazy but I seem to recall the NAZIs were the ones doing the invading in ww2. Who is that this time round?

Your history is correct.
Don’t forget the part where the Nazis got utterly demolished and Russia ended up in Berlin.
Just replace Nazi with Ukrainian and Berlin with Kiev.
The Russians aren’t even close to “all in”.
Russia has a stack of chips too high to bluff them.

Do you think Ukraine has the men to outlast a war of attrition with Russia?

Your analogy seem a bit mixed up with who is the aggressor.

I don't think Ukraine is fighting a war of attrition with Russia. Russia may be fighting a war of attrition with Ukraine which would explain its lack of success

They are in fact in a war of attrition.
It’s Russia’s war and that’s how they war.
Always been that way.

Do you think Ukraine has the men to outlast a war of attrition with Russia?

Any sign of Russia taking the whole of Ukraine?

Any time soon?

How long has Russia been bogged down in this war?

How many Russian casualties has Putin thrown into the meat grinder?

I wish I had a crystal ball.
Who knows.

Russia is sitting in crimea eating borscht and drinking vodka just waiting for more ducks to shoot in the kill zone.
The defenses are hardened and Ukraine can’t do a thing but throw a few drones out.
Time is on russias side, not Ukraines.
Russia is using convicts and dregs.

Do you think Ukraines manpower can outlast Russia?

How is that working out for the Black Sea Fleet?

But maybe the Kerch bridge may be about to be hit?

Amazingly you seem to think that is a positive thing.

As I said so far the war has been a disaster for Russia. I don't see that changing.

I think it’s awesome they turned Russian ships into subs.👍

Russia deserves more punishment like that.

Reality! The Russians aren't stupid. They saw their vulnerability there and they pulled it from the conflict. Russia has never been a naval power because of several factors. One being because they didn't see the need for it and the other is for the lack of access to the open ocean. Besides, they know any conflict they enter into will be fought on the Eurasian continent and for that, they don't need a navy.

Their naval might is in nuclear submarines, of which they have more than adequate supply.

Already explained.

Ukraine is under no obligation to fight the war Russia wants.

Can you think of a single significant example in last say 100 years where war was decided by which side ran out of manpower?

Mostly because a third of their Black Sea fleet is out of action thanks to a nation with no Navy.

I rather think they did fancy themselves as a naval power .

NATO has rather more nuclear submarines.

If Russia can't fight a successful war in Ukraine, they have zero chance of fighting one in Europe.

Russia is driving this war.
They are killing more Ukrainians than they are losing themselves.
Russia can do this for as long as they want.
This is the Russian way.
Who do you think runs out of men first?
