Putin sets out his demands for a peace deal.

International recognition for territories Russia has claimed (even those not under Russian control), no NATO membership for Ukraine and an end to sanctions.

Anyone still think Putin actually wants peace?

Is he delusional enough to believe this is going to happen?

If Trump is elected President, he probably will get all these things.

Trump might offer him those things but he doesn't have ability to deliver even if President.

Sounds good to me, at least it opens dialogue. An agreement not to join NATO and perhaps some sort of autonomy for the four provinces could be negotiated.

Putin sets out his demands for a peace deal.

"Let me keep what I've stolen ... or else"

In other words let me win , not much of an offer really. I don't think he's delusional but I do think he is getting desperate.

Are you saying that Trump and Putin are having a bromance? And that Trump would help Putin?

Possibly.

If Biden gets reelected, he probably will get all these things anyway.

As we’re witnessing now.

Have to start somewhere in these negotiations. The territories sound reasonable. Don't see the no NATO lasting long with Ukraine on its boarders.

What does Biden want? All of Ukraine, the keys to Moscow?

He expects to complete a military land grab on another nation, leave it defenceless against future land grabs and not face any consequences.

Not sure what about that sounds good or a basis for negotiation.

What part of Ukraine or Russia has the US invaded?

This will be flat out rejected.

Try to keep up. The West is hell bent on maintaining and escalating a conflict with Russia. I always enjoy the sycophant enticing topics on here.

no NATO membership for Ukraine

An admission that Russia are no match to NATO.

an end to sanctions.

An admission that sanctions are hurting.

That's all we need to know.
