What do you not get. The USA would get smoke on production if we had to go to war with China a Russia. And they know that. They are banking on it with industry already built and in place.

Better than the zero stock pile of USA ammo who’s supply chain is from China and Russia if the USA goes to war.

The same Trump that wants Europe to buy lng from the US instead of Russia

Europe already gets almost 50% of total LNG imports from the US with Norway providing almost 30%.

Whatever your fantasy tells you.

The US is the biggest supplier of military equipment in the world.

I believe lots of lead goes into ammo. And other mined and smelted materials.

Can you name one running lead mine and smelter in the USA. They got shut down by the EPA and not in my back yard crowed long ago.

If China were to invade Taiwan from the beginning, or just blow up the chip factories there, the United States would run out of materials very, very quickly and it would take years for us to build the factories necessary to replace them. We would be in deep dodo in that instance. No more sophisticated weaponry or operational F-35s for the foreseeable future.

Guess they will just have to buy from Australia or use secondary recycled lead like they do now.

Oh no.

Even if the term are resources that the west was overly dependent on Russia for ( like natural.gas in Europe( all that has happened is Putins failing war in Ukraine has shown the need for more reliable sources.

Yet another way Putin has shot Russia in the foot.

And its Ukraines choice to keep fighting.

The USA has a growing national debt of 33 trillion dollars. We borrow and print money to throw into the Ukraine.

For what end. What is the end game here. Do you think Putin is going to surrender.

If NATO wants to fight, go fight. Stop the flow of “financial aid” that is feeding the corrupt government of the Ukraine and lining people’s pockets.

You’ll never get a coherent honest answer out of them.
Should have seen that coming back on the first page.

They think Ukraine has unlimited troops, magical weapons, and the ultimate democracy.
Ukraine is just as bad as Russia.
Is it the Russia hate that clouds the logic and reality?
Some other motivation?

I’ve noticed a huge majority of brits are all for the US giving Ukraine unlimited weapons and money. Especially in this thread.
Interesting.
I know how much they hate the Russians and it’s understandable.
I wonder how’d they feel about their own country and their limited resources being used essentially to make this a proxy war.
It’s like that proxy war movie Rocky IV
Rocky (US)
Apollo Creed (Ukraine)
Drago (Russia)
Uncle Paulie (UK)

True.
Don’t forget that China needs those chips too.

For once, I agree with you.

That's right. We have built a large portion of our economy around killing people.

No we are just economically literate enough to understand the economic costs of the war are massively more on Russia than the west.
