Why was the balloon not shot down when it was tracked over Alaska FFS?
Huge place with very few people and vast wilderness..almost zero risk to humans.
Biden and co chose to let it cruise all the way across Alaska.

China are making the Biden admin look like a bunch of incompetant wusses in maybe the cheapest way possible.
Bag full of helium,a few cheapo cameras and a sim card connected to an RC controller..$500


It would be comical if there wasn't the risk of it being a dry run for something bad.

If the "weather balloon" came from Wuhan, I do believe we are all doubly screwed.

Probably, like if it was a weather balloon why didn't China say that immediately?

is this normal on a line from Chicago to the California border north we got 10 military aircraft flying with transponders 4 are helicopters (black hawks) the remaining planes are strato tankers or surveillance planes

we have more AF bases in that area than planes flying with transponders, Id really like to see how many planes are flying dark

This is a big deal. We don't have control of our own airspace making us look weak. I wonder if this is a manned balloon so they don't want to take action?

Are they stil going with Biden wanted to shoot it down but was overridden?
