The loudest (and lately, the most violent) voices win.

100% this was a leftist attack. They wanted to pressure the Justices to change votes before the final ruling.

Also a call to arms of the leftist base. There will be fire and mayhem in the streets by the end of the summer.

These midterms will be anything but normal.

The funny thing is, the leftists do want the law over-ruled.

If it isn't, then they'd have nothing to run on, they'd have no reason to riot.

So I think Roe v Wade is going to be overturned.

As for riots and deaths?

It's the leftist go-to.

It's all they know, to rule by fear.

(D)s would have to end the Filibuster I think.

And a "Codified" law would be challenged as unConstitutional wouldn't it 🐔

Again...SHOW ME where in Alito's draft opinion he claims abortion is "unconstitutional" or that new federal abortion laws would be unconstitutional, but state abortion laws would not be.

Again, as Alito's draft opinion is worded, this isn't about state rights. Clearly, it invites the federal government to legislate on the issue.

What about those rare cases where innocent people get put in prison?

I believe it is much worse a travesty to imprision an innocent man vs. letting guilt men free.
Also, as we have found out in recent times, it's actually not that rare that innocent people are imprisoned.

Again youre whatabouting to death, theres ALWAYS going to be a minority or small group of people that unfortunate things happen to

Again, unfortunate until it is your family, your mother, your daughter, your sister, your wife.
Put a face on it.

The original question was, where are the laws about what a man can do with their reproductive organs. Women are certainly NOT putting their "tallywhanger" into men!

YOU DO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN?

I'm referring to two consenting adults, that makes up 95% or more of pregnancies

You think about this, with two consenting adults, why do you think so many women have abortions.
Ponder that.

Refusing to take responsibility for their actions. Thats what it boils down to with the exception of rape, incest,or saving the mothers life.
Maybe if you want to have unprotected sex(either sex Mor F) you should be fixed. its not like they cant take sperm or eggs out to have babies later.

as it reads right now, there is nothing in Alito's writings that would prohibit Congress, who are elected officials, to federally ban abortion for all states, even though many are celebrating this decision as being a decision for states' rights.

10th Amendment. The draft as written means the 10th Amendment applies.

Show me. Because I'm reading Alito saying the issue belongs in the hands of elected officials. Last time I checked, Congress was comprised of elected officials.

Republican senators have met to discuss legislation that would ban abortion nationwide, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) told the Post, and Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) would reportedly likely introduce the bill.

What do these Congress members know that you do not?

What it will do is affirm...

... that every excuse used has been a bunch of situational double-talk and horse hooey.
  • The Supreme Court said it's a right, so it has to be a right! It's the LAW!
Until that law goes against what you want.

  • My body, my choice!
Only applicable in abortion... vaccines can be forced onto anyone. My body, your choice?

  • It's not really a human life.
Unless someone besides the mother kills it, then it's murder.
Spare me. You have no arguments left. Roe v. Wade is dying, and I for one will dance on its grave for joy... just because it will shut up a little of the insanity.

Weed is banned nationwide for example.

However states have legalized it.

Whatever, as I answered DB, it won't stop the bitching. It won't stop reproductive rights activists from protesting.

I'm not seeing your point. What does have to do with the fact this isn't necessarily a states' right issue...that Alito's draft opinion doesn't exclusively hand over abortion issues to the states because, as written it doesn't proscribe new federal laws banning abortion or codifying Roe.
