Russia speak with forked tongue.

In Ukraine the situation is very slow paced. It can take years just to take a small town by either side. Americans and Canadians will have trouble following and understanding warfare in Eastern Slavic countries like Ukraine and Russia. They have all these things like "cut the road' and "high ground" and "fire control" and stuffs like that. If it were Americans and Canadians they probably just go full Iraqi highway of death with air power. So basically, Americans and Canadians will be bored to death by Ukraine war.

Subject to available medical supplies and expertise, I don't wish to downplay any lives saved by the Bushmaster ambulance variant in Ukraine. But unfortunately, there are too few Bushmasters in Ukraine to impact the course of events.

But Vasyl Myroshnychenko's messaging concerning Australia's support for Ukraine is well calibrated. Tapping into Australian national pride is a sound way to maintain public support for Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is no longer a top-of-the-hour news story, but efforts like these ensure a degree of remaining media interest.

Moreover, can Vasyl's counterparts use messaging in the U.S. to boost public support for assistance to Ukraine? The U.S. system of government and culture differs significantly from Australia. But if elements of the American population feel like they have pride and a stake in assistance to Ukraine, then they are less likely to think their government is putting that country ahead of them.

Don't want to demean the Russian people. I am sure there a some good ones out there.

However, the Russian military has shown such contempt for life that they will probably take extra glee in targetting ambulances.

Russia Says It’s Losing Because Ukraine Has Experimental Mutant Troops Created in Secret Biolabs

Nearly five months into its senseless war against Ukraine, Russia has concocted a wild new explanation for why the Kremlin’s plans for a quick takeover fell apart so spectacularly—because Ukrainian troops were turned into superhuman killing machines during “secret experiments” in American-run biolabs, of course.

Never mind the myriad reports of Russian troops refusing to fight by the thousands, sabotaging their own shoddy equipment and even deliberately wounding themselves to abandon the war, Russian lawmakers claim the real setback for Moscow was “drugged up” Ukrainian soldiers.

That claim was made Monday by two Russian lawmakers heading up a commission to investigate “biolaboratories” in Ukraine, Kommersant reported.

Konstantin Kosachev, the deputy speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, and Irina Yarovaya, deputy chair of the State Duma, touted what they described as bombshell findings from the “investigation.”

Testing of Ukrainian POWs’ blood, they claimed, uncovered “a range of diseases” that suggest they were secretly experimented on “for military purposes.”

“And we see: the cruelty and barbarity with which the military personnel of Ukraine behave, the crimes that they commit against the civilian population, those monstrous crimes that they commit against prisoners of war, confirm that this system for the control and creation of a cruel murder machine was implemented under the management of the United States,” Yarovaya was quoted telling reporters.

Yes that a possiblity for sure Yuppa yet regional powers like Turkey generally don't take nations like Ukraine seriously at all when it comes to equal relationships. Erdogan is pretty much on the ball, he knows full well that to get Putin onside for Turkey taking northern Syria which he considers part of Turkey's ancient domain and near abroad, he will have to acknowledge Putin's right to take back at the very least eastern Ukraine which is also considered a similar ancient domain and near abroad. Both men want those regions back under their control, what better way than to get together and have a 2022 Congress of Berlin and divide up their region between themselves and shut the Anglo Saxon nations out.

And just when you thought Russia couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation as to why the "special military operation" in Ukraine hasn't achieved it's objectives we get this little beauty from them!

So many people here have such a hard-on for me.

I am glad they don't know where I lived I am sure they would probably be stalking me or camping my house. Then again, this is Florida. We have both castle doctrine and stand your ground so maybe not unless they are suicidal.

I don't know much about what the Daily Beast says except the part about the drugs.

I don't see why anyone is surprised or disbelieving about that part. It is like you yall have never heard of the Jihadi drug. Captagon is a mix of amphetamine and opioids.

Militaries have been using amphetamines since at least ww2. My pops told me about pills they were given to take on missions that would keep them wide awake and on edge for days in Vietnam then the crash made them feel like crap.
