Who are the real architects of this? not a puppet regime in Kyiv. Are the Russian diplomats still in London and Washington? if they are we might be looking at a controlled narrative playing out, if not we are looking at WW111.

For the first time Kiev regime kills Russians civilians on Russian soil.

Or more likely it was a false flag, or a stray Russian "precision" missile falling short, just like cruise missiles bound for Syria that hit Iran instead.

Whatever the cause, Russia will spin it that they are the victim in the war that they started, and which has claimed thousands of lives of civilians.

Russia, looking for excuses to justify brutality for a hundred years.

Maybe an ammo dump nearby was hit and the deaths were caused by the fire at the ammo dump?

As for someone is gonna pay. Ironic that pro Russians/Russians are mad because Russian civilians were killed while not saying a word about the Ukrainian citizens Russia has killed.

There have been reports over the last few weeks that a false flag was in the works to blame Ukraine inside Russia / Belarus.

Russia invaded Ukraine and for some dumbass Russia can't accept the fact that military targets located in Russia are going to be attacked and rightly so. Can someone explain where Russia got the "we can attack you but you cannot attack us" delusion?

Speaking of false flag -

Putin has transferred Iskander-M missile/launchers to Belarus and the missiles will be nuclear capable. Putin is also upgrading Belarus Su-25, enabling them to carry nuclear weapons.

I do not think the SU-25 can carry nuclear weapons, except tactical ones, and i do mean 1. they can barely get up in the air with 2 rocket pods and 2 defensive missiles.

Anyway Belarus is a puppet. their leadership should be legitimate targets for removal.

Wow.. Just another example of the Russian / Chechnya leadership saying one thing in Public and doing even worse things in private to the people.

I agree with Ukraine re: Russia's seat on the UNSC. Russia needs to be ejected from the UN.

I disagree this would shut down a line of communication with anuclear power. What would be better is for the US and Russia to give up their vetos it's silly that they can override any vote.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has pledged more military aid to Ukraine after visiting the war-torn nation's capital.

The prime minister met President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv during a surprise trip on Sunday.

He earlier toured the devastated towns of Bucha and Irpin, describing what he saw as a "war crime".

The aid package, worth 100m Australian dollars ($68m; £56m), includes drones and 34 additional armoured vehicles.

Story

A$99.5 million in military assistance, including 14 armoured personnel carriers, 20 Bushmaster protected mobility vehicles and other military equipment supplied by Australia’s defence industry, and a contribution to NATO’s Ukraine Comprehensive Assistance Package Trust Fund. This brings Australia’s total military assistance to Ukraine to approximately A$388 million.

Details

Australia is remaining in line with the U.S. and the West in dispatching a trickle of military aid to Ukraine.

As a reminder

Just so people know and understand. Information from war zones can become confusing as there will no doubt be info released from the players (on both sides) involved that might not necessarily be true.

As such take everything as a possibility and NOT as absolute truth.

The very first casualty in a war is the truth and all warfare is based on deception

Strategically, both sides recognise the significance of the southern and coastal areas of Ukraine. The Russians are seeking to turn Ukraine into a defacto landlocked country. But the Ukrainians are seeking to maintain access to seaports and related infrastructure, so international commerce and possibly military aid are open to those routes.

Ukrainian military planners and political leaders face the time-honoured question of the soundest method for blunting their enemy's main effort, outlined above. Most likely, the Ukrainians will pour their national/military resources into defending their country's access to the sea. However, there is an outside chance of Ukrainian counterattacks occurring in other parts of the country, intending to cause the Russians to withdraw their forces from elsewhere to meet the threat. But I think the Russians would trade away territory before weakening their main effort.

Moreover, that leads to another issue, attempts to defend "everywhere" in southeastern Ukraine will mean defending nothing. Additionally, with Russian ground forces/firepower achieving greater levels of concentration than in the initial axis's of advance, the conditions for successful counterattacks are harder to achieve.

I agree there will be a push in the south we know some of the new equipment is there with the strike on snake island. I think odds are good they will try to take back crimea within the next couple of months. They have everything they need to destroy the Russian fleet. And now they can reach deep behind the lines to destroy infrastructure and supplies.

My only question is how will Russia take it if they lose Crimea in this round?
