Until Russia's Ukraine venture, Donald Rumsfeld was the Homer Simpson of military affairs. But the requirement for infantry and amassing sufficient personnel/logistical support to sustain military operations are constants throughout military history.

Nor does that assume the war's character in Ukraine is the same as the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. On the contrary, the conventional elements of the war in Ukraine destroy that comparison.

dont worry they will see again when Russia will take more to secure areas and the locals in Eastern Provinces. Local Eastern Russian Speaking Ukrainians had being attacked because they speak Russian.

Anyone volunteering to debunk the latest Russian slaughter of Ukrainian civilians in Odesa in the last day or so. Perhaps some satellite imagery showing no damage to anything, or some other silly explanation, like "it's CGI".

I guess we should wait a day or so for the Russian excuses to come out because the BBC and a hundred other publications are making it up.

At least 21 people, including one child, have died in overnight Russian missile strikes on Ukraine's southern Odesa region

A place of massacre of civilians by Ukrainian militants was found near Lisichansk. This was told by the correspondent of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Konstantin Dolgachev.

"On the outskirts of Lisichansk, the bodies of civilians were found killed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Their bodies were thrown into containers for storing oil products. Bodies with their hands tied behind their backs, in clearly civilian clothes. Apparently, there was a neo-Nazi checkpoint nearby and in this way they dealt with peaceful citizens who were not pleasing to them," Dolgachev said.

For the first time Kiev regime kills Russians civilians on Russian soil. Oh they gonna pay. They gonna pay and they know it. There's a storm coming in. I think from now on power plants, dams, water filtration plants might even become targets. The Ukrainian people will suffer what they have never suffered before.
