The war and Covid are just the excuse for the collapse of the banking ponzi.
Banks create money from nothing and lend it out. If they have $1000 they can create 100 times more by pushing a button. That scam has come to an end.

The banking elite need an excuse to convince people to accept their "solution" presented through WEF.
A carbon credit system with massive surveillance 24/7.

Human economic activity is simple, you just trade goods and services, if enough tokens called money are in circulation. Activity stabilizes to the general need. As soon as a third party risk is involved in controlling the supply. They make money by doing nothing but withholding the supply. This cant happen if the tokens are real wealth. Like Gold or Silver. Just say no to paper promises.

Can you eat gold or silver? Will they house you? Will they warm you?

How are either "real wealth?"

Just so people know and understand. Information from war zones can become confusing as there will no doubt be info released from the players (on both sides) involved that might not necessarily be true.

As such take everything as a possibility and NOT as absolute truth.

The very first casualty in a war is the truth and all warfare is based on deception

I have not forgotten to update this however it seems the military flights have stopped broadcasting their locations. It has been this way over the last week and I am not sure whats going on. The only military flight I found tonight was a Finnish air force plane in the middle of their country. Russia renewed their civilian flight restrictions in Russia east, northeast, north of the Ukraine-Russia border. Civilian flights have been rerouted through Khazak air space.

Who cares? It's Russia.

Exactly. Seeing as the Russian state chose to wage war on a neighboring country, it is perfectly reasonable for any territory, Russian or otherwise, to be targeted if it weakens the war effort of Russia.

Good for the goose, good for the gander.

4 June update

Key Takeaways

* Ukrainian forces conducted successful local counterattacks in Severodonetsk and Russian progress in direct assaults on the city and wider operations to encircle it remain slow. Ukrainian defenses in eastern Ukraine remain effective.

* Russian forces launched a series of unsuccessful offensive operations southwest of Izyum and in the Lyman area.

* Russian forces continued to defend previously occupied positions around Kharkiv City and launched missile and artillery strikes against Ukrainian defenders.

* Russian forces did not attempt to launch assaults on settlements in Kherson and Zaporizhia Oblast but continued to fire at Ukrainian positions throughout southern Ukraine.

* The Kremlin faces rising partisan activity in southern Ukraine despite Russian efforts to restrict movement and telecommunications access.

* Ukrainian officials are continuing negotiations for a prisoner exchange of the captured Mariupol defenders.

Macron seems to think he has a special role to play.

Clear example of a huge schism in Europe. Germany and France believe they are uniquely qualified to determine the destiny of other European countries, even as their own foreign and domestic policies have had, at best, a very mixed record. Ukraine rejects this patronizing mentality and realizes that much of the German and French approach is driven by financial motives.

Europe east of Germany is most open in their dislike of French and German maneuvering, but I suspect the Mediterranean countries feel much the same way. With Europe bouncing from one crisis to the next, that ship won't sail for much longer.

The EU is trying to create a United States of Europe and I think France and Germany would try to run it on their own, ignoring the other countries. Macron thinks he has a special relationship with Putin but from what ive read its one way only with Putin finding him annoying. France and Germany have dominated European politics for way to long, benefiting from the cold war and being the 2 powerhouses of Europe. Since Central and East Europe joined the EU France and Germany, and what their priorities are, are being exposed.

When larger countries, like the US and UK, are picking up the larger ticket items, like a national defense, the benefiting nations get to concentrate on their countries while ignoring how and why they were able to do that.

Macron already chimed on on Ukraine joining the EU and said they would probably be admitted in 10 or 20 years. He never explained why it would be so long either. If I had to guess it was probably to help Russia save face.

Germany announced they were adding $100 billion to their defense forces. Not sure what all that entails but from what i've seen they basically have to rebuild there army from the ground up after decades of neglect.

I guess showing up late to the party is better than not showing up at all.

X, yeah, it would be one thing if France and Germany had run a tight ship in Europe and put the EU in good shape. But the opposite is true and other countries in Europe are now more open in their skepticism of the kind of 'leadership' being pushed by the Franco-German 'EU motor'.

It is time for an EU overhaul that recognizes the Cold War is over. The EU nations east of Germany have been treated as second class in many ways and are fed up with lectures from countries that having glaring social and economic problems.

France at least used to pull their share of the load in NW Africa, but the pullout from Mali will, IMO, have a very eroding effect on their influence there.

It is no wonder for me why the UK got out of the EU. What passes for 'foreign policy' from the EU has been a mess, and it has proven dangerous in terms of having potential to draw NATO into conflicts.

Putin warns West: Russia will strike harder if longer-range missiles supplied

LONDON, June 5 (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin warned the West that Russia would strike new targets if the United States started supplying Ukraine with longer-range missiles, the TASS news agency reported on Sunday.

If such missiles are supplied, "we will strike at those targets which we have not yet been hitting," Putin was quoted as saying in an excerpt of an interview with Rossiya-1 state television channel.

Putin did not name the targets Russia planned to pursue if Western countries began supplying Ukraine with longer-range missiles. He said the "fuss" around Western weapon supplies to Ukraine was designed to drag out the conflict.

Ukraine has been seeking Multiple Rocket Launch Systems (MLRS) such as the M270 and M142 HIMARS to strike troops and weapons stockpiles at the Russian forces' rear.

U.S. President Joe Biden announced plans this week to give Ukraine precision HIMARS rocket systems after receiving assurances from Kyiv that it would not use them to hit targets inside Russia

Is this more bluster from Putin, or a credible threat? What would they strike that they haven't already? Targets outside of Ukraine? So many questions.

It seems that many Russian "red lines" have been crossed already. We'll see what happens. This war may drag on for years.

this is exactly what it will be more lives and wealth thrown to waste , while those in power make their plays and make some cash on the side.

the war isnt between Russia and Ukraine thats just a bull# distraction to steal from us
the real war is us all vs those #s in power all over the world

we're either too stupid or just apathetic to do anything about it.
if only, as there are more of us than there are of them

Wooded areas to the NW and SE of Izyum, where Russia's 38th Guards Separate Motorized Brigade recently was (reportedly) hit very hard. The 64th Guards Separate Motorized Brigade also suffered heavy losses, per reports. Both units were apparently subordinated to the 35th Combined Arms Army.

Terrain notes.

1. The river winding around Izyum is the Siverskyy Donets.

2. Wheeled vehicles (and probably tracked as well) likely stayed on the service roads and trails through the forest. These roads are mostly very straight, allowing approaching troops to be spotted from a distance.

3. Woods to the NW of Izyum include swampy areas and many small bodies of water near the river.

Cheers

Another blow to Putin, not only because Russian speaking Ukrainians from / in Donbas are fighting against Russia but also because Russian state media is reporting on it.

Putin's State-Run Media Admits Russian-Speaking Ukrainians Fighting Back

Pundits on the Kremlin's state-run television admitted that Russian-speaking Ukrainians are fighting back against Moscow's aggression, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin and other top officials claiming they were invading Ukraine to liberate that segment of the Eastern European nation's population.

Putin launched the full-scale invasion on February 24, drawing swift international backlash. Although Russian leaders reportedly believed that they would quickly take control and be welcomed with open arms by Russian-speakers in the country, they have faced fierce resistance. Russia has been forced to substantially walk-back its goal of toppling the government in Kyiv, instead focusing its military operations on the eastern Donbas region.

To justify the internationally condemned invasion, Putin has bizarrely claimed that his forces are working to liberate native Russian speakers from "Nazi" leaders. In reality, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish and had family members who died in the Holocaust genocide perpetuated by the German Nazis during World War II. Zelensky is also a native Russian speaker, who was mocked by his critics for his inability to speak Ukrainian without mistakes during his presidential campaign.

Andrei Sidorchik, a journalist speaking on the country's state-run Russia-1, pointed out that "the main backbone of [Ukrainian] fighters" in the Donbas region "is comprised of Russian speakers and residents of Ukraine's Russian-speaking regions." He expressed surprise, saying "this is a very interesting paradox."

Just how out of touch are Putin, his minions and the talking heads on Russian tv?

Sidorchik went on to argue that Russia would only be able to accomplish its goals by "erasing [Ukraine's] history of the last 30 years," claiming that the Eastern European country needs "de-Nazification," repeating the Kremlin talking point.

Television host Olga Skabeeva later asserted that, "There should be one Ukraine—ours in its entirety."

The actions above are just one of the excuses Russia used to justify their invasion of Ukraine and now Russia is attempting to do the very thing they bitched about.

the irony...
