When you strip away the incessant pro-Ukrainian & anti-Russian propaganda, the reality on the ground is the Ukrainian forces are outnumbered, poorly trained, poorly equipped, poorly led, and have very low morale.

I think context is important here. The fact that the zero hedge report does not contain a link to an article by WaPo but a single correspondent (employee) making this assessment on twitter is important. WaPo hasn't made the shift, an employee on twitter did.

With that said though, I DO believe that stating Ukraine will have the upper hand in perpetuity is patently false, not without support they won't. I think the real underlying question people should be asking themselves is does Ukraine warrant support if their goal is a constitutionally democratic republic type government (also important)? If that is their true aim, i personally believe they deserve all the support we (and all of Europe) can give them.

Russian Su-25 SM3 tank / artillery smashers flying low. Manned attack jets are outdated and getting phased out in favor of attack drones but for the time being they are pressed into action one last time.
