The problems with Alligator go a lot farther than just having humans on board, better to just design an actual modern drone if you want a modern drone.

This guy has really stepped up his game in the past few months, and his older stuff was already quite good.

While his delivery method isn't my goto for information, it tends to be a real mood raiser, and he only (with a couple of previously acknowledged minor errors) uses well confirmed information.

So while his episodes may not give a good overview of total activity in the theater on any given day (like a couple others frequently used in the Update thread), they are honest, entertaining, and very informative about certain details that most other sources are too busy with 'news' to cover in such fascinating detail.

Just think about what he could do with a large western production company behind him.

I hope he sticks around LONG after the russian war is over, and if I were someone in msm looking to rebuild my company from the ground up after losing 100% of their credibility over the last 7 years, he would be high on my recruiting list.

Also, my list of countries that have stepped up to the plate in an absolutely outsized way has increased by one, well done Estonia!

Clearly, the Russian strategy is working. They took a cue of what the CCP did in the Chinese civil war. Taking villages to surround cities. Cutting off vital highways and roads. Cutting vital supplies to cities. This is why they were able to take Mariupol without much trouble. While Ukrainians are heavily invested in defending cities, they are vulnerable to being cut off from supplies and having supply convoys ambushed. This is why Ukrainians are having trouble defending cities. Same error of the KMT in Chinese civil war.

Keep in mind that some of the villages Ukraine forces pulled out of is because there was nothing left to defend due to Russia's indiscriminate shelling.

Ukrainians place great importance on cities, the same way KMT did. CCP and Russia place great importance on villages. Taking villages to surround cities is the strategy used by CCP and Russia.

Who exactly are you trying to fool?

I am now officially retracting my previous claim from a couple months ago that no products from my employer are involved in russia's invasion of Ukraine and none were likely to ever be.

I received confirmation today that a small quantity of some of our older products have already been secretly provided to Ukraine by a non NATO country several weeks ago, and that many more (including much newer models) are currently in transit from another non NATO country.

Not allowed to say anything more on the subject, but wanted to correct the record.

Compared to the amount of time it took Americans to take Raqqa which is a much smaller city and defended by much weaker defenders, Mariupol fell relatively quickly despite much stronger defense.

Perhaps you don't understand that we intentionally left raqqa and falluja only 75% surrounded for a very long time?

50,000 hard core international terrorists walked right into those traps while all civilians left.

Politics - Russia Raises Territorial Questions For Finland Ahead of NATO Application
* - Russia now have territorial disputes with Finland.
- Aland Islands - Southwest Finland - The islands were once controlled by Sweden, Russia and Finland (1800's +/-). The League of Nations decided the islands belong to Finland but Swedish culture / language must be respected. The island was classified as a demilitarized territory and autonomous by the same LoN ruling. Russia is now throwing a flag (US football term) on the islands since Finland / Sweden are joining NATO (never mind the fact the League of Nations doesnt exist anymore - any port in a storm I guess for Russia).

- the other issue is the Saimaa Canal, which used to belong to Finland completely. It connected the city of Vyborg, which also used to belong to Finland, to the Gulf of Finland.

The territory the canal is located is located in (central Finland), which used to belong to the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland, which was part of the Russian Empire (those who continue to claim Russia is not trying to rebuild the USSR / Russian Empire need to wake tf up).

The Moscow peace treaty of 1940, after the USSR invaded Finland, saw Finland cede the the Karelian Isthmus and Vyborg to the USSR. The canal was built back in 1845.
