Not to my knowledge. There was a Congressional delegation that visited Kiev but that was a few days ago. Right now the CoDel (Congressional Delegation) is in / was in Italy. Jill Biden made a visit as well but again a couple days ago.

It might have to do with Belarus. Once again they did "snap drills" but their units are heading to the border with Ukraine. Belarus is now repeating Russian lies about Poland getting ready to invade Belarus/Ukraine. The Belarus active duty military is only around 40k-50k so I am not sure why they want to poke NATO.

Lukashenko knows he is exposed. Before the war, he provoked an ongoing border crisis by importing people from the ME and Africa and then shoved them toward the EU border. Clearly, he expected Putin to bowl over Ukraine, but that has gone sour and now, in the same paranoid mindset as Putin, wonders if NATO will suddenly push into Minsk and toss his regime.

Still, he complains about Poland yet sends his military to the Ukraine border. I'll bet he's sore that his own railway workers helped sabotage the rail lines leading out of Belarus into Ukraine.

Lithuanians to the north. Poles to the west. Ukrainians to the south. Yikes!

There are Belarus nationals fighting in Ukraine on the Ukrainian side. Some of the interviews ive seen with those soldiers all have the same message. Once Ukraine boots out Russia, the soldiers from Belarus will return to Belarus and remove Lukashenko. I think Lukashanko has reached the "damned if you do, damned if you don't" stage.

It appears from what I've been seeing that the Russians have made some advances in the east. This may be the big push that I was expecting to happen on Tuesday after their V-Day break. They have had almost two months to refit and resupply the troops they pulled out of Kiev, whatever was left of them. The Russians know that some heavy equipment is coming on line for Ukraine in the next week or so and now is the time to push before too many of those howitzers get deployed into Donbass. They've crossed the Donets River outside Yampil and have started to push out of the pocket near Popasna.

The Ukrainians better do a good job of protecting those big guns if they want them to make a difference, I'd assume that they will be target #1 for the Russians.

The next week or so is going to be crucial in this war imo. It isn't going to end it but it should tell us if the Russians can mount a cohesive offensive with coordination between two separate battle groups. Something they didn't do very well after the initial stages of the invasion. They have a lot of rivers to cross to capture that part of Ukraine though so logistically, that may slow them down a far bit. That's also a factor for the Ukrainians if they need to withdraw from Seiveirodontesk.
