When they realized Kennedy was dead serious and risked it all calling their bluff, they pulled out.

That's not quite how it happened though. Kennedy didn't "risk it all", in fact he was very measured in his responses by not risking and instead instituting a blockade under the guise of a "quarantine" while using a back channel to allow the USSR an exit ramp through Turkey.

As far as calling any bluffs, it was only Adlai Stevenson who called any types of bluffs on the soviets by proving they had lied about the missles there, lest we forget they were claiming that there weren't any.

before Putin nukes Ukranian military in cities and ends it.

Putin wont do that, and it wont be the US responding even if he did.

At this stage, it’s pointless to debate.

It’s clear. Putins going to accomplish the mission one way or another.

What’s the fallout? Given the frenzy and “sanctions” none of that really matters with a “civil riot” or a “pandemic”

Sanctions change. And there’s leverage. Russia at the end of the day 100% has leverage.

But let’s watch this Ukraine situation unfold. It’ll get boring eventually

It’s pretty clear now

Putins going to accomplish the mission in Ukraine.

Deal with it.

With a sanctioned Russia. Deal with it. Got Ukraine though.

Now, next stage on the world is going to be crazy. What’s next? Civil war? Another pandemic?

Another conflict some where else?

Perhaps you might take a look at their military doctrine in regards to the use of tacticals. Yes he absolutely would do that. Any force that threatens them is fair game. And in a situation where he loses too many troops and equipment, I have no doubt he would. In fact, it's all he's got left at that point when stingers are all over the land taking out Russian planes.

Concerning logistical support to Ukraine: On the balance of probability, Russia invades western Europe in the next three years. Although unlikely, if Putin is overthrown, any contributing efforts aren't wasted. But the international community is relying on sanctions to stop Putin. If or when the sanctions regime fails, strap in for rough waters.

Indeed, Putin is fully engaged in a war of territorial expansion. Hence, employing nuclear weapons in Ukraine denies Russian forces a staging area for their westward moves.

Is that ATS soothsayer expertise talking? Because it's certainly not clear to me.

What leverage? They dont even have money.... they're on the brink of total economic collapse. You cant wage war or exercise leverage if you cant afford to feed your people.

Boring? Is that what you're "all in" on this war is for your own entertainment purposes? I bet the families of lost loved ones aren't particularly bored. I hope not, that would make you a serious piece of human garbage if so.

russia isn't invading anyone for a LONG time.

(They might still do the usual defenseless small country bullying though, it's what russia does for sport)

They just revealed themselves as the declawed bear we've been telling everyone that they were.

The moment you under estimate REALITY, game over.

Putin and RUSSIA have mastered the art of NUCLEAR warfare.

(Putin isn’t some dictator like Kim Jung un and N. Korea here lol)

Zelensky tweets etc being Rambo in the streets of kiev will fade FAST, faster than Russia goes up in flames with a WORLD WIDE nuclear warfare.

It’s just a wait game here currently, I’m giving Russia 1 week or 2 MAX encircling and cutting off Kiev and other cities.

The. Next shift is another civil war or a pandemic HIGH PRICES EVERYWHERE.

It’s been clear. And we all know what’s the deal here.

I'd have to see that to believe it, that he'd invade Europe. The Europeans might not be willing to wait that long to find out though after Hitler. Then again, I didn't think he'd invade all of Ukraine either. I thought he'd just go after the breakaway territories. That's a pretty big jump though about Europe. A preemptive move to stop him based on fear that Europe is next will be the undoing of this planet if fear prevails. I'd at least wait to see after Ukraine.

I clearly have extensive knowledge in this. And can see both sides of the spectrum.

I’m telling you what’s going to happen.

Putin us going to accomplish the mission. Russia is sanctioned way back to happy meals from McDonald’s.

At least they accomplished the mission in Ukraine.

Then next world headlines is……

The next world headline is…. anything. Ukraine news will get hampered down

So russia got 12k+ of it's own soldiers killed and collapsed it's own economy only to retreat back to EXACTLY where they were when they started the war and pay a trillion dollars+ to rebuild ukraine, and you call this great russian victory?

A lot of energy is focused on Ukraine right now.

Until continues to get complicated and hampered in the news soon.

Then the next world headline will just gloss over this situation.

Step back off the keyboard for a minute and digest that Ukraine is the story now, until it’s gets fizzled out as in “complicated” status back burner

Think Ukraine situation is the world news forever?
