What's funny is the poster who has been quoting our conversations and others is called astr0144 lol

That’s too rich. When I first joined ATS, the Astro/RK/Break-away Civ short story had just dropped and some of the more ‘seasoned’ members even raised an eyebrow...then more rational perspectives emerged and realized it was a mish-mash of sci-fi plots of the past. I honestly can’t believe people still buy that story hook, line, and sinker. See here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

My point: that’s hilarious that a poster named astro114 in another forum is copying and pasting y’alls comments, much like the original Astro co-opted other people’s work. There’s a term for that...

It's also amusing that these sort of posters only turn up when we start talking about THz based applications and it's potential role at Rendlesham too. Some of the posters history within ATS is about visual and imaging systems which is also interesting as that's one if the main applications for THz based tech in the herr and now.

I didn't want to derail the thread with talk of that member, but found it interesting considering they were taking quotes from this thread so found it relevant to post.

As far as the RFI and all we know and all I have learnt since arriving, I am taking MM stance in thread title, I am letting it be for now....

the reason people gave him/her a wide berth was his knowledge in the more esoteric areas of the military and he had deep knowledge of gray/black projects that was not available to the public, not to mention the he gave times to members to see triangles that panned out.

there was something going on there, but what it is im sure no one knows or will admit to.

the story is BS, but the triangles are real no doubt about that.

Yeah, I’m familiar with the backstory and he/she dropping PMs to Zaph, Bedlam, and a few other posters...but back to the thread topic...or is this thread dead (i.e. “taking MM stance in thread title,...letting it be for now”)?

ETA: @Penroc: Why would I be surprised with whom he PM’d? I’m not going list everyone just those that are off-the-top-of-my-head recollections — not to mention that the two I listed are truly “in the know” w.r.t. aviation and the requisite science, not the spit-balling types found in the thread I linked. I don’t pretend to know the science of the aerospace/aeronautical/space industries, but I know those who I can take their word as gospel, and those two are squarely in that camp.
edit on 20-6-2018 by BeefNoMeat because: ETA because I’m not surprised as asserted by Penroc

ETA2: @Penroc: Yes, I read the Astro story and remember them tossing in RFI to give the short story some fluff. I piggybacked off Pigsy’s comment about an interloper copping comments from this thread, posting on another board under a screen name of astro114 (or something like that).
edit on 20-6-2018 by BeefNoMeat because: ETA2 to clear up why I even bothered remarkin on Astro...I’m just gonna purge my grey matter of that name/story because the convo never ends well

i think you would be surprised who he pm'ed.

but i think this thread is along the Astr0 lineage of dis-info and the lengths people/groups will go to obfuscate a story. Funny both stories involved the RAF.

there is clearly someone messing with the RFI story, but is it for personal gain or national security?

ETA: his story gave a CRAZY explanation for the RFI that is why i mentioned it

Maybe both. Think about it.

The RFI explanation you are referring to made no sense at all. Mainly because it promotes the least credible part of the story and doesn't explain a lot of the other activity that went on.

But then Bob Lazar's story has both accurate claims he made about timings of sightings. But he doesn't really check out as entirely credible with other parts of his story.

I often think that many UFO cases end up turning into a form of alternate reality game as parts of the story grow and grow. On one hand to feed the UFOtainment industry with stories that are never resolved and can be talked about forever. On the other to obfuscate secret projects and hide things the MIC get up to.

Yup! Even if to just hide the fact that nukes were bring stored there, could be as simple as that.

The only thing we can verify really is how the area and it's local atmosphere were used or created odd things in the sky, cobra Mist; granted was shut down a few yrs before but used parts of the local atmosphere for OTH radar experiments, that was interestingly shut down when it didn't work even though all the equipment worked a-ok and they commented that there could have been possible foul play at work, residents reporting electro magnetic interference as a result and green blobs in the sky, an area renowned for weird stuff in the sky; BOL etc and THz radiation effects on people.

It all sounds pretty military based to me that was all extremely localised to the area, because of all points above. Nuke storage and field tests of black tech. Which is why I believe top brass flew in to check that nukes were OK and contain the test results and any possibility of an international incident due to the nukes that shouldn't have been there.

How to hide it? Simple, say it was time travelling binary downloading aliens..everyone moves on... As am I, letting it be.

Only problem is that no one mentioned time travelling or binary downloads until around the turn of the century. The case was 'Pennistoned' as big Jim flexed his storytelling skills to make him Witness No.1. So perhaps subconsciously you have absorbed this after repeated Pennistoning from his TV and radio appearances. If its repeated long enough you eventually accept it. I am also not entirely certain that the storage of nuclear weapons actually violated any treaty. It's another oft repeated phrase but what treaty did it violate?

It's entirely possible that Penniston (and probably Halt) have been co-erced into poisoning the story and keeping other witnesses in check by doing so. Their stories have changed and been inflated over time. Anyone can check their stories out as they developed this is not my opinion.

It will be interesting, if Congressional Hearings go ahead, to hear Halt explain a few things. Jim Penniston's testimony could be interesting to hear too. He conveniently left out the part about his binary download story at the mock "Citizen's Hearings for Disclosure 2013". Even though he claims he walked around the craft and all that other stuff he stopped short of his download moment.

One thing that is strange is how the TTSA agenda and the RFI seem to both be moving towards forcing official hearings.

Haha I was being ironic, I know the whole download thing came after and was pennistoned as you say, I meant it in more of a tongue in cheek way. The MIC would have pushed stories to cover their own arse, Penniston would have pushed his for book deals and conference bookings.

The reason I like Burroughs is that he hasn't changed, altered or added to his story. He just simply states he doesn't know apart from that he has heard whatever it was has been "weaponized".

If TTSA want this whole congressional hearings, which it appears to be, what they aim to be the outcome puzzles me. If anything is wrapped up in usaps they want out, it ain't gonna happen, I don't see any outcome that will force the hand to disclose anything at all. Tdl et al are, I think playing poker face with no aces up their sleeves, they have no more hands to play in my opinion.

I can only guess of course it could be a huge poker play. But Burroughs has won a case with the VA that in his words say the US DoD have confirmed the UFO phenomenon is real. Very few people really know about that case outside the likes of these forums and the UFO community.

Now reading between the lines, other airmen involved in other incidents also appear to be interested in testifying under oath about encountering UFOs in the line of duty. Looming large is the deluge of injury claims against the Pentagon that could follow Burroughs victory.

The gamble could be to force the DoD into confirming "Yes there is a UFO phenomenon...." and it becoming headline news. Which then opens up a whole can of worms.

If they fail to acknowledge it and hide behind national security then the military witnesses will testify. Further questions could be asked about why senior military just ignore objects that don't have enemy insignia and appear to perform impossible manoeuvres in US airspace. What if they call the military chiefs who are afraid UFOs are demons to explain themselves under oath?

It could all get very messy and embarrassing. These hearings may also never happen.

I don't believe that members of the military testifying would result in anything. All we have to do is look back at history and the guys working at the ranch who were exposed to stealth composites being burned and nothing came of that, they just said there was no such installation, quite brazenly too.for an issue that's bigger, bigger denials.

Even if they admitted there was something, they would just point to things like AATIP and say we couldn't figure it out.

The next thing I reckon that TTSA will do.in the near future, if what I'm hearing is correct is they will do something like what Steve basset did at the national press club but version 2, all new and updated firmware and bells and whistles and open it with their 3 crummy videos...but thats just hearsay for now

Good spot.

Hope this works.
(It didn't) Some excerpts while I read.

Rendlesham, Radar and Reality- Win Keech
Is there a single definitive answer for the events in Rendlesham Forest around Christmas 1980? … I don’t think so. It seems clear that there was a convergence of events and that the situation there was complex. The evidence points to at least three things happening at that time … and at three different levels of understanding.

This is not intended to be a definitive answer. It is an examination of technical possibilities surrounding the event from the perspective of a multi-discipline engineer.

The first is the everyday practical level. This aspect has been well defined by other researchers, so will not be covered in this report, other than to comment that ‘yes’ there are factors here that play into the sequence of events, but they create noise that is obscuring some more interesting and less understood aspects.

Focusing on the scientific and engineering considerations that must underpin the evidence, it seems probable that at least two unusual things occurred – the first intentional and of an Internationally sensitive nature, the second may have been unexpected by those carrying out the first. If so, it would have been on the then cutting edge of mainstream science … and even today, to the man in the street, likely to be considered within the realms of science fiction.

The first will require an explanation of late 1970’s radar technology, whilst the second will require the simplest explanation I can muster to describe some of the physics behind our reality. It then becomes plain how one may affect the other.

What seems plain is that lives of some people involved were damaged in several ways … and that they were considered to be collateral damage by those with an interest in keeping some of what happened as quiet as possible – remember, this was at the height of the Cold War, and at a time when it only needed a flashpoint to become ‘Hot’.

The following analysis may only be of interest to comparatively few, but I hope may help answer some of the more difficult technical questions and help give a better overall view of events.

The boundary between our reality and others seems to be thinner in such areas – and many unusual phenomena are observed there. Things tend to bleed across into our Universe from others - craft, entities, energies … even glimpses of things in differing times. Entire houses from past times are known to appear and disappear because of this, both near the bases and in nearby parts of Suffolk. - Strange, but true.

The glowing plasmas are indicative of the energy that allows this to happen. I have studied, witnessed and even recorded these sorts of events in similar areas, so I know that they are as real as anything else within our range of reality - and as such, must obey the physics underpinning it....

....This is interesting, because a house was reported as ‘disappearing’ near the East Gate at the time of the RFI events. So, finding a wider pattern helps give credence to this. I know this does no fit many people’s view of things, but it is not my job here to know what happened better than the experiencers, only to take the reported evidence and find if there is any science or engineering basis for it to be possibly correct. Strange as
it may seem, I cannot discount these reports, because the science and observed pattern of witnessed effects say ‘yes’ this is valid

Maybe a shareable version will be available after the interview, I hope. Unless I am doing something wrong on here, which would not be the first time

Well err how many more additions do we need to this alternative reality game that RFI has become?

The disappearing house story comes from Liar Molten Who.

She also explores Never Before Revealed details from cases like the RAF Bentwaters/Rendlesham Forest UFO encounter of how an entire house that was close by to the sighting "Vanished into Thin Air" during the incident, but was covered up by covert intelligence forces.

Source : ufosightingshotspot.blogspot.com...

Unfortunately in the video below we can also hear her de-lib-er-ate o-ver ev-er-y syll-a-ble as she struggles to speak English in this interview with "Dark Journalist". Alexa does it better!

The exact segment begins around here @ approx 1hr 15 min : Link

However I know that this almost senile old woman grates on the ears of many members so here is a summary of what she said.

The details are suitably vague so that the exact location is never given out. She is claiming the story came from a (in 2015 at the time of the interview) 85 year old lady who in late 1980 worked in a local elementary school. Apparently Colonel Halt even showed her (and a colleague) the depressions in the ground at the supposed landing site and the grass had turned from green to beige! She also saw burns in the trees.

This mysterious house was supposedly within the area of the sightings at Rendlesham, close to the East Gate of Bentwaters. According to the story the house suddenly vanished over the Christmas weekend (Fri 26th - Mon 29th December 1980).

Apparently when the Monday (29th Dec 1980) arrives after the RFI weekend this woman is back at school at work. Apparently some builders are at the school and tell her a house has vanished near the East Gate.

According to Linda this woman "quote - un quote" then drives off to see what has happened. As you do while working at school and says "Ya this place that was there is not there". She even claims local police were called by one of the workmen. But doesn't follow that up with anything.

We are then treated to a picture. which I guess is a game to spot the most stupid cow in the picture.

clue : look in front of the wall

After that she then goes on about that fictitious sci-fi story the Philadelphia Experiment and how someone 'overheard' a secret conversation....that old trick.

So there you have it.....

An unnamed woman who would have been 50 in 1980 and worked at an unnamed elementary school somewhere vaguely in the area was told by unnamed builders that a house (with no verified address) near the East Gate had vanished. For no known reason, Colonel Halt was even kind enough to give this unnamed woman a tour of the supposed UFO landing site as well. The local police were called by one of the unnamed workman as well.

I have even ran this story with another member on here who has written about vanishing houses in Suffolk for a second opinion a few years ago (if you are looking in CG then thank you). The consensus was that this story is a none starter as it just makes no sense. No properties were reported has having vanished near the East Gate at the end of 1980. Even if that was the case what happened to the occupants or owners? Elementary schools are unlikely to be open during the school holidays between Christmas and New Year. Similarly unless this was emergency repair work then local council workers would not be attending to building work in the same holidays. There are no facts in this story.

Conclusion
There was once an unnamed investigative female journalist who won a local Emmy award on TV for an interesting unnamed documentary on cattle mutilations around the same time the RFI occurred. She then got recruited (Dotyfied,?) call it what you want to then spread disinformation and ridiculous stories in the UFO and other paranormal fields. Purpose - to create confusion and obfuscation for various organisations. This will also provide 'stories' for entertainment purposes that she is allowed to make a living from. But must always serve the will of those she sold her soul to.

Indications of possible mind programming to ensure she doesn't break cover would be her rapid blinking during interviews, stilted, staccato speech patterns as her conscious self battles with internal contradictions, and totally irrelevant interruptions on radio shows in attempts to introduce long debunked mythology back into UFO lore.

John is watching. This just posted.

John F Burroughs I want to address something that has come up on ATS about the missing house. The lady approached me first in DEC 2010 while we were in the UK for the 30th anniversary it was the day before we departed we were finishing up filming at the hotel. She is real she lives in the area or did not sure if she is still alive. I was talking to her about what she knew to include the missing house when I was called in for my final interview with Ancient Aliens. Linda had just completed her interview so I introduced her to the lady Penniston was filming with a German crew. When I came out of the interview she was gone. I wish I would have been able to meet back up with her before we left. Whats interesting is there is a house that appears to disappear and reappear in the area David Bryant has written about that. I asked Halt about it his face turned white and he stated I have nothing to say about any of that!

Follow up. mirageman "Elementary schools are unlikely to be open during the school "holidays between Christmas and New Year.Similarly unless this was emergency repair work then local council workers would not be attending to building work in the same holidays" It was the base high school at Woodbrige no council worker involved. She was a administrator not a teacher so yes she was working. She was involved because Col Halt had contacted her friend who was a science teacher at the high school. He wanted to take her out to the area where the event happened because he had question for her. Her friend asked her to come along and she did. Halt took them out on Sunday afternoon Dec 28th.
