What are we waiting for? A good act of Congress? The history forum would be one of my favorite places.

There is so much promise for the wider range of discussion and research would take place.

The motto of ATS is DENY IGNORANCE. Isn't it another way to say EDUCATE YOURSELF?

Being a world history "hobbyist" I agree . So much of the history that is taught and spread these days is not all correct.

Easy format would be 20thC, 19thC, and go back till 1000AD....then one forum for everything prior. My special interest would be a 20thC World War Forum.

I even have the perfect intro thread www.abovetopsecret.com...

Here us go. And better late than never Here's a vote from me too.

To have a forum named "History Forum" on ATS is the anti-thesis to the raison d'être of Above Top Secret.

I still don't understand what you want to accomplish with a "History Forum" that can't be accomplished in General Conspiracies! I'm not trying to be a jerk I just really don't understand why you want this new forum.

I also like this idea. When I joined that's what I was looking for.
