THX THX BIG Puterman.

I must need to scroll to see all the links.

My last download of your interface with the 3D etc program didn't complete. Went in and changed default browser to FF. Tried again. Still didn't. Didn't try and troubleshoot further. May get back to the above this evening.

Much appreciated.

The browsers are theoretical in that if they are on the system installed in the default location they should work. I will add something tomorrow to allow you to specify the path to the browser executable.

1946 Vancouver Island earthquake
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1946 Vancouver Island earthquake

Date June 23, 1946
Magnitude 7.3 Mw
Depth approx. 20 kilometres (12 mi)
Countries or regions Canada
United States
Max. intensity VIII - Destructive
Casualties 2 killed[1]
The 1946 Vancouver Island earthquake was a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Vancouver Island, on the Coast of British Columbia, Canada, at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 1946.[1] The main shock epicenter occurred in the Forbidden Plateau area northwest of Courtenay. While most of the large earthquakes in the Vancouver area occur at tectonic plate boundaries, the 1946 Vancouver Island earthquake was a crustal event.[2] Shaking was felt from Portland, Oregon to Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The earthquake is remembered as one of the most damaging earthquakes in the history of British Columbia. However, damage was restricted because there were no heavily populated areas near the epicenter, where the violent shaking occurred.
This earthquake is Canada's largest historic onshore earthquake.[1] However, the greatest earthquake in Canadian history recorded by seismometers was the 1949 Queen Charlotte earthquake, an interplate earthquake that occurred on the ocean bottom just off the rugged coast of Graham Island, which reached magnitude 8.1 on the moment magnitude scale.

Even tho its not in the exact area i still have a bad feeling

OK no interest, but I went ahead anyway. Cyprus
Data ends in May 2013.
I spent my 21st birthday there, know the island reasonably well, there are some really strange shore features around Pafos, strange rock formations, sort of like Magnetic Island off Queensland.

Still having trouble with the PDF's, was downloading the text off the 2011 PDF's into Excel, backwards from December and at September the text won't paste in lines, it goes straight down as one column, not sure what causes that. Jumped to 2009 and that works OK, must be something to do with the PDF's construction.

7.5 Quake just hit off of Japan-- near Fukushima (Nuke plant that melted down).. and before the mag 9 in 2011, a 7.2(edited 7.3!) quake was a foreshock.. hope this isn't another foreshock.. if Japan has another 9+ quake, all 4 of those nuke plants will fail, and push all the radioactive water into the Pacific ocean

Along with all those 100's of huge tanks full of toxic radioactive water....

oh geez.. I sure hope its not another foreshock.

Ummm....this does not sound good at all. Hopefully that was all they will get. Another REALLY big one would certainly do them in, and possibly do more damage globally than can be conceived.

Now THAT is creepy. The 2011 foreshock was a this location:

38.424°N 142.836°E (enter into google maps)

And THAT one was a 7.3 too.... but on the other side of the subduction zone. still scary..
I pray nothing more happens.. they have gone through enough!

Here's some info on the 7.3 foreshock from Harvard:

I knew something was odd today.. I always check the USGS site at the office and noticed a heck of a lot of 4+ quakes today all over the region.

Its time to get everyone out of japan, they are all living in an illusion. The west coast of US/Canada need to start moving east and fast.
