Nuge's skillset will never fit the Shark's system. End of story.

Chiarelli has acquired talent for an anvil and anvil system. The point of H&A is to create a puck retrieval process that can be done efficiently and effectively. The longer it takes to recover the puck, the more energy is expended on puck retrieval and subsequent transition. With the way things are going, the Oilers will only be able to partially execute a d-zone transition as the slugs can pre-gap. Reroute into a E/W focus and watch them crumble.

H&A functions both as a puck transition process and an IDM process when 100% applied. These specific processes are time bombs that make third period comebacks possible.

Nuge is to My-Eye a perfect Template for the ideal Possesion/Transition NHS style player....IMHO he is the centerpiece of the entire team and he has already proven how well he can manage the NHS focuses,he scored 5 points in one game when he was younger than McDavid ,and he has been indoctrinated to the NHS already.Nuge is my KeyStone Oiler player.....right now no one to My-Eye approaches his acumen potentials and ceiling.If I was tasked with building a Team and were to pick 1st, out of all the Oilers I would pick Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to build around .....hands down.
