So basiclly Todds System will never be managed in any way shape or form which will allow him to optimise all of the skillsets he can put on the ice together....so Moma2s says this....lol...when I see Conner in his wheelhouse picking up speed in the n-zone coming down the right wing looking to make his little dump pass over and back and slow up the defenses transition a step so he can shift up a hidden gear and safely cut across the ice high in the o-zone to top speed across the playctions grain to the backdoor ......I want to see Nuge or Nail or Ebbs giving him the pucks back as he hits his spot because Conner uses a long stick and hes a stretcher like Crosby and like Nuge who skates coiled up like lots of quick skaters tend to do keeping his appendages all tucked in tight.......so I want to either see Nuges perfect donuts hitting the blade of Conners sticks or I want to see Nail crisp cross-ice dart being deflected in or I want to see Eberles delay-delay-delay nerves of Kryptonie skipper hitting Conner later....and I want forwards picking up pucks or defensemen making quick passes to get them pucks so they can play catch with Conner....because if you give Conner or any of the core 18 chances to finish the same way very very good things will happen.

I listened to Todds post gamer and he tried to sell us all a surprised feeling when he perfectly outlined how and why his PP wasnt continuing on its scorching pace.....like he doesnt know what happened ....he doesnt know what positive data source stopped coming in and why JW couldnt adjust the PP on-the-fly without it?LOL.

These kinds of data sets are NHL CALIBER and the execution is in real time and the adjustments surgical and time dependant.

Well we could see what happened on the PP....it needed some tactical shooting love ...thats all, the timing was a bit off.Nail has to keep getting pucks but also think shot aggressively on the PP and come in like Tarasenko does,and bury a few and to use his slapper because Nail uses a short stick and has a very low compact windup whih releases very quickly..Nuge has to keep driving the offense like he is now so awsomely by continued goal scoring every game now and McDavid needs to start shooting more pucks from outside on NHL Goalies and catching them sleeping hes got to broaden his horizons a bit more now and learn why Gretzky and Bossy and Hull all used the Slapshot and 1/2 slapper so much .

Taylor Hall is being exposed statisticly on the Website which has been disconnecting the Oilers since 2008.

Dont pay attention to any of the stats driven drivel....Taylor Hall is big-'ole'-PuckHog .....but hes OUR PuckHog and we PLAN ON KEEPING HIM.The NHS REFUTES THESE BASELESS MEANINGLESS STATS DEFECATIONS if anyone is interested.Yes Taylor Hall surenders a LOT OF POSSESIONS....but you have to have a dynamic template upon which you can optimally valuate the circumstances of each possesion change.....and IMHO Hallsy isnt getting the co-operation he needs on the ice to bust pucks into the oppositions net like he can make happen on any given shift.

This is Halls strength....he is like Hemsky was....he can burn you with his speed on the 1st shift of the game or on the last shift of the game just as quickly.To be frank... no defensive minded NHL Team who has consistantly thought and built this way and developed a STABLE OF SOLID ABOVE AVERAGE DEFENSEMEN would turn down a chance to get a player like Taylor Hall who can single handedly pick up an NHL team and run with it on his shoulders so a DEFENSIVE TEAM willing to let HIM ALONE be a wildman on the ice like Ovie was allowed to do most of his illustrious career will benefit exponentially....and this means Hall IS WORTH A NUMBER ONE DEFENSEMAN TO A HISTORILLY FOCUSED DEFENSIVE TEAM.....but we ARE KEEPING HALL UNTIL HE SCORES 40-50 GOALS FOR US......,like this coming season if he NHS is used by McLellan.


His possssion numbers are being connected to his defensemens zone clear attempts and then to playction turnovers.Again simply ignore the advanced/enhanced stats excusatory BS and know Hall is a CORE MEMBER of the Team which will win next seasons Stanley Cup if they simply hire Moma2 and let the NHS drop off the face of the internet and into the Oiler Bloodstream whee it can feed upon all stats influences utill the Team is clear of them all and is healthy and growing again.

I think Hall and Nuge and Dre' and Nailer could set Conner up for 5 goals in one game before seasons end.

I think Nugey could score his own 5 goals if he is focused upon and stretched out offensively which we HAVE NEVER SEEN HAPPEN YET.

McDavid-Nugent-Hopkins-Yakupov.......these guys just do what Poppa Nugey tells you ASAP and keep doing so until he tells you.Nuge will optimise his linemates every shift and will hit them with pucks at "fork in the road" dynamics where they have choices,where as Nail will hit you at the trigger-point so you need to be a quickshot to gel with his focus because hes always thinking finish and is a premier passer.....soooo....if Conner understands Nail will hit him at trigger points and he doesnt overplay those pucks but scores on them then and he recognises with Nugey to keep working seams until hes clear and to ALWAYS look for the quick slap-back to Nugey who has a knack for getting wide wide open a LOT and who is always maintaining an anticiptory positioning as he transitions the ice at all times....well then Conner could become a goal scoring phenom who could put up 5 in one game easily....as long as everyone is thinking shot first with their positioning and transitioning in the o-zone all the time. Nail has to learn to recieve McDavids passes in a shot-stance and quick-release everytime as well because Conner thinks like a finisher as well.


Hall-Lander-Kassian......Hall better get physical on this line because Anton is a true Pest and will be causing a lot of trouble with Kassian on his line and Hall better let Lander use Zacks size and skills and become much more of a reliable go-to guy.The give and go with Hall trusting his linemates is the key to evolving Halls playaction management skills and teaching him how to slow it down enough to use his teammates more.Hall also needs to become a designated shooter who gets more opportunitys by NOT HAVING PUCKS FOR AS LONG.....he needs to now produce MORE GOALS from the 2nd line like Mess had to learn to do by SHARING PUCKS NOT A LITTLE MORE BUT A LOT MORE.The KISS give-and-go with big Kassian finishing on net and Hall sweeping in with his speed late pumping in rebounds will let Hallsy evolve his skillset again.



Yakimov-Draisaitl-Eberle......Ebbs better be prepared to use his backhand move from in tight because Leon can consistantly pop pucks off the boards to him if Jordan will focus on 1/1/2 stride entry into his back-hand deke from the right side....he needs to shorten the setup up to optimise Leons backhand passes and that is all......Yakimov needs to be allowed to pick up pucks early in his zone or low in the n-zone so he can wind up his speed and back off defenses because Bogdan might have top 5 NHL Big Man Speed.....hes fast for a Big-Dog man....really fast and so big no defense is comfortable with him because he is big enough to roll over a stand-up defense like even the NHS H&A if they dare step up on him ....we are talking 230lbs here with above average speed.......


You see we always come back to inadequate or watered down or filtered Coaching impacts........simply because as a FanPoster Moma2 can take Bogdans 3 gears or Leons 4 gears or Halls 3 gears Nuges and Conners 5 gears and build multiple offensive focuses off of EVERY GEAR OF EVERYMAN.....so you do the math,the Process makes the Player not the other way around.The NHL Coaches the Oilers have cannot handle the volume of small details they must micro-manage because they are trying to use numbers based fluid disconnecting excusatory stats based cures for every small or big challenge they encounter....they are trying to group kick-start solutions on every level of their processes overlapping disempowering and undermining core value critical structures and checks and balances on every single turn....no one thinking on their feet and just ripping accountabilty from the group.....the entire organisation "talks about" being BOLD because no one remembers what it feels like to BE BOLD.....just bald.

What kind of so called "evidence" could you possibly give to NHL Managers which would encourage them to willingly abbrogate so much of their personal tangible impact??? Less accountability to ownership?Excusatory fluid applications?Advanced/enhanced stats cause this dereliction by introducing BS ideas and supportive sets of numbers not they nor anyone understands because they are intentionally convoluted and buried under columns and flow charts and webpages....advanced/enhanced the Trojan-Horse gift that just keeps on giving till its host is dead in the water .....LMAO....Darkhorse and Dellow symbiotic self-substantiation[think about it??]....lol....if these 2 influences are not removed PC and McLellan will begin to make more and more regressive losing decisions....in a spiralling exponentially growing volume of instances.

Soooo....back to the Oilers current dilemma......Conner looks like a #1 line LW to me and I believe he would step right into the shoes of Hall but provide everything on softer surer note....so to see whats there and to pump up his points totals with 3-touch assists play him with Nuge and Ebbs and have them take possesion in their own d-zone and skate it into the n-zone,building their offense in the Devils Phonebooth where they always want to be.

Hall-Draisaitl-Kassian.....have Hallsy get in on the Boards and mix it up with Kassian.....and learn to use his speed to bust it off the wall to the net for shots.....this line doesnt need to cycle...it needs to do the Neon Leon Shuffle along the boards.....the"Neon Shuffle" and build terminal offense coming off the wall. Zack said it once in broken-spanglish......he said they need to hold possesions longer looking for better shot options.Hes got the job of screening the tender and he knows its better to get the goalie transitioning around the crease....that just setting him up in front without working the possesion and forcing the defense and goalie to transition their focuses hes at a disadvantage and is wasting his time....Kassian is a dum-dum goon[Sams a Buddy arsehole] and cannot illiterate that concept.And his Coaches are to disconnected by what the numbers say putting him there in those exact circumstances should produce to see the spanking obvious......lol....

Roll these 3 lines with no matching up and equal in every way ice-time and and give them proper Coaching support and adjust them every game as needed......and you will know what you have, enough offense to win every game left ,and to many same handed shooters and passers and not near enough contrast in terms of suitable tactics offensively.

Or maybe keep Nugey on the Wing so he can score a GPG to end the season.....lol....Moma2 still with 100% certainty claims RNH has an unknown ceiling ...always was and is a superior more rounded multi-dimensional player than anyone else on the Roster including McDavid who doesnt look to be tracking better than RNH did.

What do you do if Nugey scores GPG and shows us again he can score consistantly if given freedom to do so......because RNH is ON FIRE RIGHT NOW.....and looks to be evolving his offense again as we speak......history will prove that holding the line during the 2016 trade season was the single best decision ever made by PC....Chiarelli may have saved his own bacon because I am now seeing an Oiler Roster with surging offensive GOAL SCORING potential.

If the Oilers use the NHS Hammer and Anvil next season and spend the off-season working with Moma2 to fine tune and sculpt it to fit Mclellan ,they will begin the season with a 15 game no loss streak......and will not lose more than 3 games in row all season long....on their way to sweeping every series to resoundingly win their 1st Stanley Cup of the NHS Era.

Katzes Arena District will see a SENSATIONAL INNAUGURAL SEASON if the Oilers win the Cup and will forever be BRANDED WITH SUCESS IN EDMONTONIANS MEMORIES..... so this is a big play or a BOLD play to run right now.......can you IMAGINE THE MONEY SPENT IN DOWNTOWN EDMONTON IF THE OILERS WIN THE STANLEY CUP AT HOME???


Imagine 4-5 Oilers in the NHLs Top 20 in scoring again.....and imagine Nurse fighting for the Norris with 30+ goals.

One 5on5 goal and one PP goal per game is the NHS baseline for performance...........thats 6 goals per game if you are sleeping at the wheel....that total would be an Oilers record no one in the world believed would ever be broken in any Era.

I KNOW there are 5 Oilers capable of scoring a GPG+ if they stay tough enough and smart enough to play 82 games........so Gretzkys 92 goal goal scoring record is also in dire jeoprady now..............Nugent-Hopkins-McDavid-Eberle-Hall-Yakupov-Draisaitl should ALL be looking to score 50 goals
this coming season.....and this will mean that multiple multiple-goal games will have to happen and this can ONLY HAPPEN IF THE ENTIRE TEAM IS PUSHING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTIONS ON EVERY SINGLE ONE OF 96 NIGHTS.............because specific players will have to be optimised and fed scoring oppotunities for entire games by the entire roster because this is how these types of multiple point games are repeated,by comittee,only.

The System can give one speartip impact 18 opportunities plus 2x shifting and PP looks per game......so its really matter of who can capitolise on their 18 chances most and how the Coaches decide who to focus on and who can stay hot enough to attract the entire Rosters support long enough to become dominant.... if you are on a hot streak as Pro Athletes seem to live and die by then you really want a results based management focus which will keep feeding you chances till you lose the "zone" .........so one night we might see Hall score 3 goals and be fed everything under the Sun to do so....the next night Nugey might slip it into the opponent for an out of nowhere 5 points....and repeat this 3-4 times before McDavid scores 4 goals and then 3 and 3 and 4 again............. everyone getting their 18 chances when they carry the majic ring.Some guys will really deliver on 18 chances per game and surprise everyone a what they can do under pressure....LMAO.

6 games x 18 chances=?Goals?6 times a period....same play...same player finishing....same opposition....same dealio....rinse and repeat...and then again until you find a way in.18 times one man gets to read and react to their defense.....so hope hes on point.....lol.

108 tries at one single playaction so share them how you want but you better produce them via Process as Coaches and Players because 18 per game is next years performance bar to "meet match or matriculate" [yes you may use that term]......what will the shooting % look like at seasons end....will everyone get better at executing familiar plays and up the %s or will they simply not move because the areas of attack are to strong league-wide and need to be adjusted.

Your top line needs a minimum of 6 possesions per period converted into shots in net via your defined shooter to be functioning optimally....so work on it.There is a process in play here,its not Jhonny-on-the-Spot Hockey,its about 360-degree cerebral muscle-memory awareness and keeping it sharpened up.

I would run Nurse thru this 18 chance process before seasons end.He would totally dominate an opponent if he was an integrated planned rushing threat every time working the give-and-goes.....lol....and if he beat up and bullied Forwards trying to cover him in the o-zone when hes working hard down deep.Having Nurse slapping your head behind your own net 18 times a game is horrifying if you are a Forward and demeaning and dominating because Nurse is a Stud with short-fuse and likes to manhandle and to taunt his opponents like Pronger and Stevens and even Coffey used to do.

I want to see the PP shooting % skyrocket and set a new NHL record.....I want the 5on5 GPG to be record setting and Hall to lead the NHL in this category.

I want McLellan to understand why I am not helping him now to end the season.....the evidence has been in for over 30 games now.

What most people fail to recognise is that both the Kings and to a lesser degree the Hawks play a very RESERVED application of the NHS philosophy concepts and tactics.....they play a very intentionally controlled multi-gear multi-faceted style ...if Moma2 had Bettmans and Katzes help ,and NHL Industry Recognition Validation support and impetus then within 1/4 to 1/2 a season NHL LEAGUE-WIDE offense would explode exponentially......because many NHL Teams are now emulating the Kings/Hawks exact Era defining Systems and styles,this means genericlly they are all focusing on toning down extremely high-octane System Management Programs designed for Everyman to consistantly win with but to fit like a Kid-Skin Glove an Uber-Skilled fast Roster,designed to Jack-Up offensive focus and impacts.The Kings/Hawks COULD produce 4-7 GPG easily and both teams know it...however there are a series of NHS processes which require elite level game management to be actioned and this means there is an OVERRIDING PROGRAM RUNNING just under the surface of what you see on the ice and its a cross-current impact because when the NHS is applied to an Adjusted-Hybrid System it tilts everything towards the existing Systems strengths on every level....so a defensive focused NHL Team applying the NHS would NOT REMOVE ANYTHING AT ALL but would insead BUILD AROUND what is already in place optimising it and for the Kings/Hawks it means their WHEELHOUSE is a low scoring defensively focused game where they apply what is known as a System CheckMate which is a sort of 200foot trap and the MORE DEFENSIVELY FOCUSED THE OPPONENT BECOMES THE MORE THE PENDULUM SWINGS IN THEIR NHS DIRECTION....so the more defensive a losing opponent becomes the tighter they pull the noose around their own necks.However as with the Isles and Pens who are more skill based and less defensive minded by nature when they DONT REMOVE ANYTHING and they apply the SAME NHS PHILOSOPHIES CONCEPTS AND TACTICS if you go the other direction and become more offensive with their System they will consistantly find ways to turn up their own offense triggered by the SAME IDA and IDM influences which action the Kings/Hawks defensive CheckMate.

A well schooled NHL Team will be able to play both sides of this record....execute the System CheckMate on very good defensive opponents and win 2-1 consistantly AND execute the Hammer and Anvil on the Offensive minded opponents and win 7-5...and the Kings/Hawks have shown this last season they are becoming able to project both ends of this Process spectrum in a single game which is its own little tale of NHS evolution.It is the fact that the Kings and Hawks can both now sporadiclly TILT the entire structure of a game against an opponent using identical philosophies concepts and tactics.They have built sympathetic sets of cerebral muscle-memory all as per their learning of and implementing of NHS directives......they have been re-wired now and THINK HOCKEY differently.....and this is Franken-Evolution because Moma2 stopped adding directly to their programs and they have to surf up most Moma2s ever-evolving data unless Moma2 comes calling like happened a few times over the last 15 games to ensure the Isles and Kings are dialed in perfectly....and to ensure the Hawks recent trades are a big enough of a System-Integrity crack to pick them apart from ...lol lol...

Moma2 missed the game,fell asleep before puck drop woke up to see Nurse hold his own against a hired gun,thought to myself good on the Kid hes man now ,fell asleep again,woke up for the Gadzic fight ,thought to my self,now they are a legitimately balanced tough as hell team who are proving it and will win tonight because all they have been missing for 6 years is the right balance of Tough beef and tender beef,Luke puts them over the top withou hurting them like Maroon does and Kassian does....3 big tough men who aren liabilities on the ice when heir teammates support them and when the scorers score for them,my final thought was who would back up the tough guys and as I closed my eyes I said to myself with a confident chuckle,Yakupovs coming now and so is McDavid because they hide bowling balls in their cups, then I was counting sheep again.....but judging by the highlights everyone not only McYakupov came to back up the beef,all the little gangsters showed to the dance.

Nail Yakupov had his best game of the season.....he was in all the right places at all the right times at all the right speeds and was patient,Hall showed us a power-winger goal scoring move by being brave enough to bring it off the boards and challenge the ever-dangerous middle-ice in the o-zone which is a big step for for the System which is cycle dependant but usually just wastes energy and motion and cannot break pucks off of the wall ,Eberle was on point and jumped in like a Barracuda to hit his spot to provide what we expected from him since we aquired him,a Johnny-on-the-Spot snipers goal, there were nice quickly executed periperal shots and well focused layers of suppor in terms of tipping pucks and layering tactics.But most of all due to IMHO Gadzic and the bottom 6 players and Nurse on defense providing rel NHL level BITE.....there was no disrespect thrown at the Oilers and their skill players were having the road ploughed by some tough fellas so they could use their skills...which they did in fact do.

This is how you have to win in todays NHL 5 on 5 goals scord via process whenever possible.....4-7 goals per game if you are lucky enough to have the Horses and the Chariots[System] to pull to get there offensively.This is the Oilers real hidden-tiger in that they have the skill to dominate 5 on 5 which makes the PP 3x more impactfull....like the Dynasty team whose 5 on 5 game pushed their PP to legendary status even by todays standards.

Now the Oilers are leaning towards a better System to bad it took so long, and the Horses have a Charriot to pull into battle.

Moma2 will end this by saying this is the first game where Yakupov who looked like an important part of the Process and has IMHO treated properly in every way[excep when McDavid didnt feed him wide open on that one breakin...lol...Nail busted his nut to get into that position ]....something changed for this game....something that looks like Maturity ......someone has figured out that this Core IS THE CORE and no one is being culled out of it......now the real growing begins.....2017 is the year the Oilers Core comes over the top of the wall on the entire NHL.Taylor Hall said Nails name respectfully.....lol.....Moma2 is no Wednsdays Child.....lol.....someone finally poked the right spot.Maybe just in time to bring this Core together.And stop the Copper Rain from falling.


IMHO this game because of how the assets were used and because the best 2 way forward on the Team was out injured should be the one McLellan judges his year on and uses for a Template going forward.Todd finally said he was proud of the Men and you know he meant it,Hall finally complimented Yakupov and you know he meant it,the men were given a PLATINUM CHANCE to show how much they want McLellan running their bench,this game was all about Todd,IMHO he has the hook in now and set because the men fought their hearts out for him and dominated his old Team FOR HIM.......let it be written that the old fox as the year wore on has managed to get them to take the worm and now he has set the hook so no one is getting away as long as Todd plays this one right.Well done Todd Mclellan....yes Toddy me boyo you had to wait this long for confirmation.....but yup they like you and want you to stay......

It was VERY NICE TO SEE LUKE GADZIC ON THE ICE.

Todd now needs to STOP SAYING HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT HE HAS FOR PLAYERS DUE TO INJURIES........OMG.....just man up and be honest....tell the TRUTH TODD.....ALL OF IT....that this season was just like the Oilers first ever NHL Season TO HIM because EVERYTHING WAS BRAND NEW from top to bottom and that this season his first in town was used to try on all his different Hats and find the most comfortable one.....there were 4x or 400% MORE SYSTEM CHANGES made this year than we will see next season as players were brought to process and process was branded on players....4x as many processes as usual in a normal NHL season....Todd be honest and say that when you are coming in stone cold to broken home you have to be patient and carefull how you treat EVERYONE who had to live in that boken home if your intentions are to make it heal like a bone...stronger than ever.....and tell the Fans that this HOME IS NO LONGER BROKEN.....that the group has begun to respect their Heritage and their Locker Room once again and their Games and themselves in a forward moving progressive manner which all arrows point to as being a continuing trend....because I did see a Team last night pull it together when they chose to....proving they CAN DO IT ON COMMAND.

Todd is a good Coach....any good Coach can see that all the horses were whip-shy and liable to bite each other or someone else when he got here to differing degrees
because they had to many owners in their lives...but these are PLAYERS LIVES AND CAREERS HERE WE ARE DEALING WITH and we need to RESPECT THIS and give it due dilligence.....I think Todd handled the OG-Core well enough to begin to undestand them and to build trust....yes it took this long but so be it....and that the Core-in-waiting Nurse-Leon-McDavid were mallable enough...and that the Vets in the bottom 6 and on defense respected Todd....Taylor Hall may have just kept himself an Oiler by making positive commentary on Yakupov because IMHO Hallsy was or still may be on the Block....I hope not.....because we havent seen him gel with Yakupov yet...over the years Hallsy wasnt sure if he could get Yak run off or not,Yak fought back and now they are like 2 brothers and Big Bother is not loved one bit more than little Brother,Hall didnt expect a little brother who would fight back to him and who would not give any ground due to having a MORE TRUCULENT PERSONALITY....Taylor acted like any oldest sibling would and tried every trick in the book to get Nail in trouble with Mom and Dad but to keep his own nose clean.....lol.....none of it worked and Nails still here .....and Hall like every oldest kid is seeing that HE WILL BE the 1st one out of the nest if things arent all Rainbows and Mojos on the homefront.....now the worm has turned and if there are any "issues" in the House the OLDEST ONE WILL BE LOOKED TO FIRST TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.Even last season people looked to the youngest one......just basic dynamic habits but hints as to how the Core has been evolving and of where they are at as a group.These were growing pains and this was Hallsys swing-year.....if we dont see winning and chemistry next season bye-bye Big Brother you will have to move out and get your own place.....lol.....does anyone think Hall compliments or even mentions Yakupov post-game if Todd Mclellan and PC arent in town towering over him and there is no Leon and Conner in the room,speaking of which those two might just blow us all away by having CHEMISTRY PLUS when they TAKE OVER THE PP with Nugey and Klefbom ????ROFLMAO.... PCs reputation and Todds reputation have finally ovepowered Hallsy and evolved him.....so nows the time to NOT MOVE HIM OR ANYONE......leave the Core alone now,this is their time coming up,leave them alone to mature ,Nuge[C],Ebbs.Hall.Nail,Lander are the longest serving inmates and THEY MUST BE RESPECTED and be allowed to lead now, the Captaincy issue MUST BE DECIDED BY NEXT SEASONS START,FIRST GAME IN WHEN THEY SKATE OUT WE NEED TO SEE THE "C" SURPRISE UNVEILED. The Oilers Captain does not have to fight....he has to IMPACT EVERY GAME.....and be protected like a sacred cow.The Oilers are bringing in teeth now,sharp ones,and lots of beef,so so its not like the Captain has to be a bruiser,in fact its the opposite,you NEED A SQUEAKY CLEAN PLAYER like Nugey to project your Team Identity when you are building a warchest of weapons of mass destruction secretively.

Seriously based on NHL Reputaion with Peers and Officials Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is the ONLY fitting option,and anyone believing Conner will be ready before his 3rd year is Nuttier than a Blind Squirrels Outhouse.

Its between Nuge and Conner and Nuge is a TWO-WAY Centeman who has held his own in the WESTERN CONFERENCE which is incredible to consider and his stats in terms of PPG are execptional considering he only really opened the offense up 1/3 of his career and focused on defense with the other 2/3 of his career carving himself a perfect undeniable role on the Oilers for his entire career.....what we havent seen is RNH as a mature player asserting himself offensively looking goal for himself on every possesion,and when we see that he will break 50 goals/100 points,Nugey now needs to evolve into an offensive catalyst for 2 100+ point linemates.IMHO he can do this.McDavid and Nuge and Leon need to work on some right side play finishes for Yakupov who HAS NEVER EVER BEEN FOCUSED UPON PROPERLY.....IMHO Nail should be able to get open plant himself and EXPECT THE PUCKS ON HIS STICK considering the skills of guys who should be delivering it ........ and stop being 75% focused on stats driven LW PROCESS support for Hall which has developed over 6 years of kevin Lowe pressures, seriously ,and remember to try out Slepyshev and Yakimov ASAP.Slepyshev is 6'2 tough young enough to fit right in and a shooter and Yakimov is ready NOW and Nail can use them both in the room.Anton is a RS/LW skill player which is PERFECT because of al the LS Oilers, if given patience and some tactical support because at the NHL level this is a PLATINUM ADVANTAGE in supporting across the grain playactions which fool everyone including goalies constistantly.

Yakimov brings everything the Oilers need to allow any of Daisaitl-McDavid-NugentHopkins- seamlessly play on his wing ,this gives the Oiles a killer Faceoff advantage because believe it or not BigDog Bogdan Yakimov has elite hand-eye coordination and is exceptionally good on Faceoffs.Because BigDog is...well...just so big everyone will obviously build around him on the ice at his speeds and in dynamics sympathetic to him,hes a powerhouse and will force any defense to back out of his way.....you give him to Moma2 for one season and hes a 30+ goals 60+pt scoreing Center/Winger in the NHL once his confidence is established and he sees his ceiling and his limitations so he is always in sound position defensively , then he will potentially elevate himself and will have a long long NHL career and maybe hit 80 points in a good year.

BigDog Bogdan is worth one of the last 2 call-up spots.

Slepyshev is such a wild-card he godly and seriously reminds me of Kurri and I believe he is and can only benefit from immersing himself in the skillsets of the Oilers where he is a fish in water.His Right/Hand shot on the Left wing side make him a very special player because he so loves the one-timers,his skillset will give Nuge and Conner and Leon a unique target for their passes an entirely new set of dynamic positions to pass to.He worth one of the final 2 call-ups.

I would trade to make room for Slepyshev so he can learn NHL speeds right now.|When he was here last time no one gave him DYNAMIC PLAYACTION CONTROL TO SEND HIMSELF INTO IMMEDIATE SECONDARY AND TERTIARY SCORING POSITIONS WHICH IS WHERE HE CASHES THE MOST ON 2NDAY CHANCES ESPECIALLY AROUND THE NET PERIMETER AND ESPECIALLY WITH THE ONE-TIMER.....so Slepyshev needs CONTROL OF PUCKS ENTERING OR IN THE O-ZONE with opposition in transition....not to be told to go stand on spot "B" on the clipboard and wait for a pass in a static position as they made him do... hes a natual fit for Yakupovs style and Yakimov would fit right in....IMHO a Slepyshev-Yakimov-Yakupov line would be GOLDEN because they all have paralell fundamental basic hockey teachings style-wise which lend themselves to an Ovie style frenzy attack style which is devestating when eveyone is on the same page because it cannot be anticipated,its a Buzz-Saw type of style designed to cut to the BONE.
Pouliot-Nugent-Hopkins-Eberle...McDavid-Hopkins-Eberle might be a top 3 NHL Point producing line.
McDavid-Draisaitl-Kassian....Hall-Draisaitl-Kassian looks menacing
Hall-Yakimov-Yakupov....McDavid-Yakimov-Yakupov......could dominate.

Run those 3 lines with equal ice-time and with McDavid and Yakimov routinely switching places for 98 games switching ONLY ONE POSITIONAL PLAYER PER LINE NO "PAIRS BS"...and you win a Cup.Just thinking about Yakimov-Draisaitl-Kassians heaviness and skill makes me shudder,they would be bringing the thunder and Zack would teach Bogdan how to handle himself as a big man in the NHL.....and McDavid between Hall and Yakupov is like putting a rocket in a bottle and lighting the fuse.NO NHL Team currently has the Horses to match this offensive depth on 3-lines and no one is competing with say Hall-McDavid-Yakupov from the 3rd line slot, with any of these 3 lines batteling the #2 or #3 rotation against traditionally NHL Processes the Oilers have a considerable edge.Whose defense is handeling Hall-McDavid-Yakupov from the 3rd line???LOL....LOL...no one thats who.

The Oilers skill advantage DOESNT BEGIN UNTIL THE 2ND LINE LEVEL.....so ALL ADVANTAGES MUST COME FROM THAT DEPTH DOWN...soooo...the real shooting that wins the wars will come from the 2nd and 3rd line positions of opponents structures and line changing strategies being victimised by McLellan rolling 3 offensive lines consistantly no matter who is on the ice against who,using the same KISS playactions and going full out.

Soooo.....you look for a saw-off against the oppositions top line and you CRUSH THEM DOWN THE ROSTER OFFENSIVELY....you throw your Pouliot-Hopkins-Ebele[he will be re-born as a 2-way winger in 2017] line at their 1st line and nullify them. Then use Yakupov and Hall and Leon and McDavid to DESTROY OPPONENTS OFFENSIVELY.You TOP-LOAD your 1st line with Pouliots unusually elite forechecking ability and Nuges 2-way defensive foresight and Eberles shooters instincts for reading plays he can break up ,and you nullify their top guns then simply snipe them to pieces down the road a little bit.

Maybe their top line outscores ours 3-1 but if our 2nd and 3rd lines roll offensively and ouscore them 5-2 we win 6-5.....and this is where the Oilers traditionally suffer braincramps in their thinking.....it doesnt matter what the numbers say at the end of the games......you win or lose so 6-5 is better than 2-1 because you win AND pay the Fanbase DIVIDENDS when you win 6-5.......so really how the team projects its offense is relative to the respect management has for the fanbase.

IMHO the Oilers know who their Daddy is now...Todd Mclellan....now they just need their Moma2 and they will be a stalwart Nuclear Family.

Todd Mclellan knows very well what he has now in terms of assets........and he also know he doesnt have a lot of moves he MUST MAKE......hes got a lot of skill and talent and now hes got a functional bottom 6 up front and finally some teeth on defense.

So an HONEST Todd McLellan tells the truth and diagnosis as Moma2 did a decade ago the real Oilers illness.....a massive over-dose of stats based inputs which pigeon-hole the organisation and make it very very vulnerable ,an Honest Todd says the many and varied injuries to his roster have prevented the Oilers advanced/enhanced stats Group of "specialists" from doing a full and complete job of assesing FOR HIM how his men play together in specific clusters via results produced or numbers or stats,and that had he the leeway to make finite decisions about personell he would do so on his own based on his intuition and gut instince....howeve HOCKEY IS A BUSINESS AND THE OILERS BASE THEIR FOCUSES ON NUMBERS RESULTS AND THE BOTTOM LINE.....so really its out of his hands .Todd cannot make any decisions without Darkhorse and Dellow guiding him,Kevin Lowe built an Oilers INSTITUTION and A TOP NOTCH EXCUSE FACTORY with Darkhorse and Dellow.....he even hand picked the people.....and now they have slashed Todd Mclellan and PC s ACHILLIES TENDON because the stats based process itself is dependant on consistant player dynamics or CONSISTANT STRUCTURES being actioned and is lost completely without this.A teminal over-reliance on structure is one of the inherant weaknesses of stats based thinking and this TERMINAL WEAKNESS is the main or primary driver of the NHSs focus.

So now that we know stats have ABSOLUTLEY ABANDONED ABBROGATED AND LET DOWN the Oilers.....lol...we hope that McLellan is wise enough to tell PC to hold his guns in their holster and run with the Core in place one more season.....because his stats buddies have been blinded by the injury complications to their well laid BS plans...LMAO.

Yes Kessler makes some nice references to NHS style processes.......lol....Moma2 Plays Pool shooting with both hands.....Moma2 throws Darts with both hands and can 2x Bull from both sides......Moma2 Plays Badminton switching primary hands and also Raquetball switching out and playing one hand against the other in complete games like in Pool and Darts.

Moma2 has done some nice NHS posts describing the impacts of playing pool with the cue in your off hand when you are hooked because it absolutely perfectly demonstates the NHSs built in process ambi-neural programming....and throwing sticks before scrimmages ,and everyone picking someone elses in is a prescribed NHS practice drill.

The "The Third-Eye Blind Drill" /3YB can be done with everything,checkers,chess,anything we do can be tailored if we focus because we all have a dominant or strong side and really the 3YB is self-policing....just excercising a muscle we ignore consistantly until it atrophies.....and by working on it we can seriously improve our 360 degree awareness...and if you are following the NHS philosophy you already incorporate this drill on several levels.

Moma2s even posted a nice tidbit for both the Oilers and Kids everywhere about the 3YB Drill that made Moma2 the "Most Outstanding Male Athlete " and allowed Moma2 to Coach effectively.This 3YB Drill was invented by Moma2 as a Competative Sports Practice Drill and shared at every level.You take a sheet of lined loose-leaf paper and you crumple it up into an egg-sized ball .... then you open you hand palm up and make it as flat and level as you can and use it as paddle to keep popping the ball of paper up and down into the air keeping your hand wide open and palm flat and horizontal all the time on every contact , you will find that a flat horizontal palm will contact the irregular and many-faceted surfaces and edges of the crumpled paper will be rocketing it into spins and off into odd directions at very difficult to predict times.....so you learn to anticipate your own body mechanics and each ones maximum performance envelope , if you start to push yourself you can put some wicked spins on the ball and really sharpen up your fine-detail footwork chasing it down,this may sound like an easy simple drill and a waste of time to some people .....however this 3YB Drill is the only Drill IMHO which can give you a super high number of potentialities but a SMALL ENOUGH ONE TO STILL BE ABLE TO REGISTER AND RECOGNISE PATTERNS DEVELOPING WITHIN a volume close to and speeds close to NHL decision making times and speeds.Anyone-anywhere can find a loose-leaf sheet worth 1/2 cent and engage in a high intensity self-directed high level competative sports drill which will let them build up their 3Dimensional anticipatory pattern recognition skills and vision and their muscle-twitch and reaction times.

The more you push the envelopes of your own and your Processes strengths the CLOSER you draw yourself to the NHS and to IDA and IDM....because the NHS takes the most elite pocesses and breaks them down into user-friendly programs EveryMan can immediatly understand and implement recieving immediate results based rewards and evidence of excellence.Nothing else in the World brings together anticipatory Intuition and tangible body mechanics and physics based causality into one seamless NewAge philosophy with its own signature concepts and tactics ABSOLUTELY EXCLUDING STATISTICS FROM THE PROCESS like the NHS does.

Don't forget Larionov is Nail Yakupov's agent. The Professor Larionov was one of the best thinkers and playmakers of his generation. At a wiry 165lbs at 5'10 he never changed the way he played.

The current NHL systems and models are trending towards a physical simple defensive game because it is predictable and controllable. Big physical players are valued for their durability and dependability but can be fully exposed in NHS.

You are absolutely correct that bigger players on the NHL ice surface have been by Proxy exposed due to the NHSs EveryMan ownership driven syncronistic reliance on Process to make the Player....last season during the Playoffs the Hawks were "assisted" by Moma2 in the tailormade management of their "spheres or influence" at a critical time when a bigger stronger team was literally coming over the top of the wall on them and was snuffing them out...these Moma2 dialed in "adjusments" were specific to how the Hawks historicly and currently interpret and apply the NHS and focused on using their Oileresque Roster size and speed and skillsets to neutralise the "bigger faster stronger" myth... not a generic majic Genie in a Bottle.Moma2 though seriously gave Jon Copper terminal data to walk on the Hawks but the Hawks used it FIRST on the Lightening....LMAO...Cooper didnt know what to do and Quenville jumped all over it right to the last game.

I believe the Islanders are showing OIERESQUE or Hawklike or Kinglike NHS core value signature statistical patterns via Doug Weights accurate NHS interpetations and applicatons evidencing how closely Douglas tuned in to the NHS years ago during a playoff broadcast he was sitting in commenting on.

Now all I can think of is Larionov and how much Yakupov reminds me of him in MANY MANY WAYS of their games,so Moma2 thinks Nail should watch this video and see where Igor found his seams and his timing at NHL speeds because I saw 75% Nail Yakupov type of same position same decisions being executed by Larionov.Nail is often finding himself in exact Larionov type spots and times on the ice so if this similarity is there and they both have short sticks and work similar angles then just maybe if Nail watches Igors shots decisions focuses and timing he will feel comfortable. Moma2 believes that the ways Igor found to score in the NHL would work for Nail now.In time Moma2 hopes to see Nail become a Doug Weight/Igor Larionov clone,with Nails passing he could be a PPG player.

Who knows it looks like Mclellan will roll 3 offensive lines next season.....he simply fails to understand the potency of the NHS and the IMMEDIATE IMPACTS which are produced......Todd doesnt understand that that 65%+ of the volumes of traditional decision making is removed from the Players and properly delegated to the Process when the NHS is followed.... he fails to see that this is the anticipatory majic decision making fuel that would allow his skilled Roster to ALL USE THEIR COMPLETE TOOLBOX EVERY POSSESION.....that 65-75% of stats numbers based inputs are removed by the NHS and IDM takes over and puts them on auto-pilot falling back on neuro-speed Process habits.

Its as simple as this question.....how many passes should it take to score an NHL Goal beginning with an executed own-zone possesion?The Question is serious....there are correct and incorrect numbers.

There are 3 possible points to be awarded...ever wonder why its three?...LOL.....look it up......like I said there are right and wrong answers.It should OPTIMALLY take 2 passes and 3 touches to score a goal ....so basiclly from your own zone i should be tic-tac-toe every single possesion.....and possesions gained in the n-zone should still be 2 pass 3 touchers just with an E/W focus.No one should EVER THINK OF A 3RD PASS AS ANYTHING BUT A RED FLAG FOR POOR DECISION MAKING......and players could convert sooner but then they would be denying optimal NHL points to linemates and would be thinking outside of the process.

Believe it or not Larionov is one of the reasons the Oilers still have chance to pull this History Making Core Sucess story off....Igor has been one of very very few people with solid immovble reputations who has been wise enough to stand his ground respectfully wih the Oilers....he has been what in the old days we called a Stand-Up type of Professional..... believe it or not Larionov UNDERSTANDS having to work with sycophant mentality from his youth,he knows head to head doesnt work.ever unless you are 110% sure of victory which means you must be terminal .....Igor knew what he was getting into with Kevin Lowe and he has handeled him masterfully they have .......to be frank on this note Nail Yakupov is becoming a 2 way-player more and more every game...lol.....and I think he enjoys it.The more pucks you see hitting and coming off of Nails stick as we have seen the last 2-3 games the more signs we will have that the Oilers have decided to grow with the NHLs running evolution now.....and is important people now see how quickly Nail moves pucks and how good a passer he is ,because Nails finds lanes and get passes off at a highef than normal rate because of his high Hockey IQ and his maturing patience,Nails keeps his head up more than most because he is looking for contacts all the time and he uses his energy and focus to fuel his awarenenss,if you remove a core value pillar from his game you change him to much as a player, Nail is now showing he is naturally truculent and stubborn and driven .....think of Nuge and Yak as opposite ends of a spectrum with Leon on Nuges tail being players who try to slip in and out of the grain or [ "cerebral whiite-noise] of the game and not be noticed wihout the puck so they can suddenly pop out of nowhere and strike a terminal blow ...while Yakupov and Hall both want to be noticed all the time so they can make the defenses twitch and react to them so they intentionally make "dynamic white noise" ......both ends of this spectrum produce elite skillsets and special hockey minds....why do you think Gretzky pushed Messier to Center?Because he wanted CONTRAST beween line one and two, because Wayne wanted to force opponents to sort their own skillsets out with CONTRAST so he could spread them thin and identify and neutalise whomever he needed to at will.

Think about this.....didnt the Oilers watch Conner and Leon go head to head? For gods sakes it was one of the clearest examples of 2 CONTRASTING DOMINANT OFFENSIVE MINDSETS PERSPECTIVES AND PHILOSOPHIES you will ever see outside the NHL. .....and now they are both in the NHL showing their best.....Leon lit it up and established himself and his style as being elite NHL level....now Conner has done the same......and BOTH have displayed their pedigrees......but now we have 3 elite mnagement Processes in play.....Nuges Shifty active style Leons shifty positional style and Conners high speed energy style.........now a good coach would see this and deem those 3 UNTOUCHABLES because 3 steps are the majic # it takes to out adjust an NHL opponent......and if the Oilers can simply design and implement 3 slightly different flavored dishes out of these 3 different elite styles and then manage those 3 concurrently then they will be rolling 3 lines throwing 3punch combonation knockouts.However remember the COACHES MUST BE ON THE BALL making tactical decisions and matchups.It will also require 1/3 more overall work and resource allocations.And lets not make an Eakins misinterpretation here OK?I dont mean multi-system system which adjusts to much during the game....I CLEARLY MEAN 3 CONTRASTING MANAGEMEN STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM PRE-GAME then stick with 100% when the choice has been made.



I have to stop here to say this.........Conner McDavid you are a smart young fellow and you have not only respected Moma2s advice you have given it an overwhelming 120% effort at an intensity which matches that of the Core , you have implemented solid changes to your game and have by proxy began to work from new perspectives and build your cerebral muscle-memory in an anticipatory way....you have over the last few games and will by years end have added 50% more offensive vision and Dynamic Tactical Awareness to your toolbox at the NHL level. In terms of willingness and efforts to step out of you comfort zone style-wise and not lose any impetus only Gretzky and Nugent-Hopkins have displayed the ability to IMMEDIATLY AND SEAMLESSLY translate contrasting impacts style-wise and keep their games at the Elite level.So all arrows are pointing up now ,I especially see who you are emulating but will not expound upon that topic other than to tell you you have made the right choice and to continue on as you are doing.You Conner you can reproduce the dynamics perfectly on your first try usually a true blue Oiler named Gagner had this same elite level ability to reproduce dynamics on demand because of what Moma2 calls Sams "Total-Ice Vision" meaning Sammy literally saw the ice from up above like Wayne did .....lol....you are a smart cookie and if you keep learning and applying your lessons like you do with so much hard work and focus and passion then you will be the beneficiary of the exponential learning curves of the NHLs highest pedigree Core....this means you are learning to walk and talk at the NHL level because you are immerssed in guys just old enough and just savvy enough and wih pedigrees high enough that you respect them.......Moma2 said this pre-draft......the Oiler could be the absolutely perfect fit for Conner McDavid and in 3-4 years we may all have found that he has assimilated everyones srengths and has become the Banner the current Core hold aloft and drive through their opponents hearts.....everyone sees McDavid as a Captain before he is 23 but I dont....I would rather see him become a gamebreaker .....and I am beginning to think that the Oilers might have to decide on Nurse Leadership potentials sooner than expected because if he keeps evolving and playing as well as he is he will simply step into the Captains role anyways..... we could see Nurse with an "A" next season....Nuge-Eberle-Nurse .....until Nurse showed up like he is obviously always going to be....like Leadership candidate I was 120% Nuge orientated.....however when a Player can positionally have Darnells consistantly above average game changing impacts then the passion and heart and attitude bleed through and he can become an NHL Captain......I now see Nuge being the Captain over any Forward but Nurse will definately be looking to challenge for that when he is 27-28 years old after he and Reinhardt become Defensive Anchors ,maybe sooner,speaking of Reinhardt he has jacked up his passion and is behaving very territorially aggressive around his net and always making people pay a physical price and he has been making very good lateral support reads and transitioning in and out of the middle very nicely his decision making is consistant so the System must be consistantly taught and executed.....I am finally seeing the anticipaory edge a team-wide "comfort-zone" creates and the confidence that catalyses from it, so like it love it or lump it Todd McLellan System is being actioned how he expected it to be....and he is sill being flexable and is still willing to let the offense run hard and to keep learning himself,he had a dead zone for 30 or so games but he has recovered .

IMHO Leon plays playoff style hockey all year long by proxy of his style that needs to lock down a Playoff spot and set the teams tone going in over the final 2o games and Nugey plays aggressively but carefully solidifys the playoffs during the 2nd 30 game stretch and Conner comes out like a Wolf and runs em to the ground and rips out their bellies over first 30 games......soooooo....a smart Coach lets Conner come out of the gate running hard for 30 games then laterals the ball to Nugey for 30 games to slip it up to the 10 yard line where Leon over the final 22 games can work it into the final scoring position on the 1 yard line where heros then decide things .

This is called BUILDING FROM THE MIDDLE OUT and for as long s hockey has been an organised sport this has been the most sucessfull method of building winning teams ever evidenced......sooooo....in SROKE OF PURE GENIUS ....Peter Chiaralli and Todd McLellan held their cards tight and did not make any bold moves and kept the CORE intact officially adding a few names making a LONG-TERM CORE COMMITTMENT to these names which we will soon see engraved on multiple Stanley Cups.........Nugent-Hopkins/Eberle/Hall/Yakupov/Draisaitl/Nurse/McDavid ....3 centers/3 Wingers/1 d-Man maybe 2 in Griffen because hes looking very good right now.That is a long term Core at value..... all they need to do is bring in 2 top d-men and I actually think they are OK...........as long as both d-men are tough and physical and impose themselves and fight.I am more interested in bringing up Yakimov and Slepyshev than I am in waxing poetic about the elite core players we know about.....I want to find a gem or two over these last few high intensity games.Todd McLellan has as much as admitted officially and rightfully that he did not achieve a big enough or varied enough sample size of evidence on how how players work together , he tried muliple System focuses and guys were dropping in and out of these changes due to injuries so the result was low test scores because it was as if a bunch of players had been skipping class missing entire Chapters of study .So obviously we know it would be derelict and remiss to make any major moves at this point in time....so why not have fun with it and use up all the call-ups.

Moma2 is telling you that Slepyshev needs to spend some time with McDavid and Yakupov and Leon ,because his LW-RS is going to be devestating at the NHL level once its focused upon via normal urgent creative deceptive puck movement instead of standing static and open before some silly sructure based offensive set-up can get you the puck....lol...no one has a one-timer that doesnt need transitional movement to end up in the net and on Slepyshevs first go-round no one was letting him touch pucks enough to use his creative high level skillset they were NOT FORCING OPPONENTS INTO ENOUGH TRANSITIONS and were telegraphing slow poorly timed passes to Slepyshev to tee-up on.....it was a joke.....and Yakimov was DOMINATING IN CAMP and like Leon was hooped and didnt get rightfully rewarded for the results he produced .It was wise of the Oilers to let Bogdan go home.....now they need to bring him in and let him get his feet wet with a bigger more aggressive Oilers lineup with lots of big men to show him the BigDog NHL ropes.Now that the Oilers are bigger Yakimovs NHL entry is much more accomodated .....he doesnt have to be a fighter first or the only supersize target now.

Moma2 dearly regrets providing the time-limit to negotiate extended to the Oilers right now because if Nail goes so does Moma2, ....Moma2 values Igor Larionovs perspective and reputation so much that his decision is a keystone one for Moma2....Larionov never gives up on something he believes in and he has put a LOT into accomodating a Yakupov/Oilers relationship so I know he believed in something strong enough to take things this far.......the only issue Moma2 has is this---dumdum Mclellan will have to roll 3 offensive lines next season.....anyone in their right mind would do that because of the skill/depth the Oilers have.....in recent Eras lots of teams rolled 3 offensive lines........only not in the watered down 90s when the NHLS skill levels across the board were eroded by multiple sources forcing the selection of less skilled Players and use of non-offensive Systems to mate up with officiating and NHL direction and create a winning program.

What do people think is going to happen when they shrink the Goalies Equipment???/.....be real now....Teams with sub-par Goalies who have been relying on the Balloon-type gear will be lit up like Santas Outhouse on Chistmas Eve.

Does anyone not see that rolling 3 lines offensively is a MUST IN 2017 and also that a COLLAPSE DEFENSE WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF OFFENSIVE FOCUS.....because a "collapse defense" is designed TO ABSORB AND RECOVER PUCKS[dump-ins because the collpse is a lure to forced dump-in] AND TO BUILD POSSESIONS THIS WAY.....not to be a static wall and BREAK possesion metrics external to or high up in their own zone.....and absorb and transition to immediate offense much further up-ice out of their own zone.......Nail Yakupov is NEEDED in 2017....this is no joke and he has been underutilised by process so we do not value his all-round skillset like his elite passing for example and his elusiveness on the ice and his truculence.

The Oilers have spent a long long time focusing on Halls ability to lug pucks up-ice and he is one of the NHLs best at doing so.....Hall was on track to taking 4 shots per game which he NEEDS TO DO+ and he needs support from his linemates to do this,if more focus was on Hall shooting the visuals on how many times he surrenders pucks would look different. ....Moma2 posted for Hallsy to gun for 4 shots per game.....so either some idiot like Dellow or Dan haight from Darkhorse read Moma2s data and used it selling it to the Oilers without being able to tell the Oilers HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY which would produce 40-50 goals for Taylor......or the Coaches refused to support this shot volume tacticlly.....but Hall was doing the exact right things....and he still is game in and game out and in fact he has looked really good with Yakupov and Mclellan should continue to play them together.

Only in the last 10 gmes has Jordan Eberle been able to do the exact type of work he was brought in to do as a sniper because now thee are lots of big bodies doing the heavy lifting and drawing fire from opponents .....so IMHO since 2012 this is the first time I have seen what Ebbs doing his special role provides and it looks REALLY GOOD......and Moma2 knows that now that the Team itself has changed so much soon Nail and others like RNH and Pouliot will begin to produce much more offense in terms of goals......if they are given the chance.....you see heres the PROBLEM....ALL OF TODD MCLELLANS VALUATIONS ARE SKEWED.....he didnt have the type of roster from the seasons beginning he has now.....injuries submarined ALL STATS inputs ......his roster has gotten a lot bigger and chippier and his offensive players who WERE IN HE PAST drawing fire from opponents heavies for 60 minutes now have some cover to use to execute theirr skillses and provide offense......the added size and importantly grittiness have benefitted the Oilers tremendously and when Luke Gadzic was on the ice I saw a Playoff bound regular season team because he elevates his temmates so much and he makes the Oilers a legitimate tough team when added to the new hires like Kassian and Maroon.

One of the keys to sucess for the Oilers has been bottom 6 and defensive toughness.....they have begun to fix this.....so now of all times they do not want to lose a player of Nail Yakupovs quality.....not when the offense is now getting room to work with on the ice and the skill players arent doing all the heavy lifting.


Todd Mclellan will have to roll 3 offensive lines next season....its that simple......this will mean more equally delegated minutes for everyone because when you roll 3 offensive lines you do not line-match with anyone.....you just keep firing guys over the boards.....every line gets absolutely equal minutes and offensive opportunity....and this is the ONLY WAY ANY COACH WILL EVER OPIMISE THE OILERS FULL TOOLBOX OF ASSETS AND THIS WAS ALWAYS THE ONLY WAY A HISTORIC ROSTER LIKE THIS WAS EVER GOING TO BE MANAGED.......lets not pretend we didnt see this one coming...lol.

So like Moma2 says why not just get on with the OFFENSE.....why waste time trying to tacticlly defensively compete when we could be learning to be offensively complete.

The Oilers can let their Core begin to fall apart or they can put some pressure on Todd McLellan to show them how he plans to optimise all of their assets they have ammassed.......the San Jose Model didnt work out.....the "collapse defense" didnt work out..............the evidence shows the Oilers need to play offensive hockey and roll 3-4 offensive lines.

2017 will be the first year of the rest of Halls career because McDavid will require more and more possesion time and focus next season as he breaks out.....rolling 3 lines offensively will allow McLellan to 2x shift McDavid and Nuge which he needs to do.McDavid is a scorer and needs to be fed extra minutes on Nuges wing to keep his inner Goal-Dragon fed well.This coming season would be the one with the most opportunity for Nail and for Nuge and Ebbs since 2011.

The Hammer and Anvil comes with a huge volume of tactical playctions......simply standing up opponents on the blueline is not enough and if not done in conjunction with everything else it loses 65% of its impetus.The idea is to funnel all of possesion/transition contact to the defense allowing them to beat down every puck carrier comng their way allowing them plenty of contact of opposing rushing involved defenses where they can really leave marks and wear them down for the forwards.

However when properly implemented, it suits the Oilers and Yakupov perfectly.

Jeepers every team in the NHL using the NHS is fleecing the Oilers for quality impact players....its silly man.Why is something telling me Weight it going to move on Nail and he will be an Islander if the Oilers dont figure out its 3 lines of offense or blow it all up again.

How many people could sit every single Oilers player and Manager and owner in a large room and EACH THEM ALL SOMETHING NONE OF THEM KNEW? Yes thank you for reminding me of the Russian 5......Stan Bowman knew what creative free-flowing hockey directed by a stern philosophy and driven by offense could create in he NHL if the Players were on the same page,Stan tasted some of what the Russian 5 had cooking when Sam Gagner using the NHS lit him and his Hawks up for 8 points.....that is what immediatly caught his aention and keyed Stan Bowman into the NHS in 2013 and what brought the Hawks to where they are right now....since 2013 the Hawks have jumped ALL OVER THE NHS.

Nail IMHO is a top notch quality human being and a stand-up straight shooting young man with a very bright future ahead of him.He has Moma2s upmost respect and his life and career will flourish away from the toilet bowl Edmonton has become for NHL players.

Moma2 says Yakupov will become a prolific goal scorer in the NHL and especially against the Oilers and he will end up playing a very very long time.Moma2 thought Islanders but Nails a very good Chicago match as well.

Now Yakupov will get to see the playoffs before his 30th birthday......lol...like Justin Schultz and other good men will.

Moma2 is severing ties with the Oilers now.....Gagners treatment and eventual blackballing was bad enough but Nails treatment has taken the Cake.....Moma2 is out.....and it may seem like there is no impact associated with that statement with only a few games left.....but think of Moma2 next season at the 40 game mark when the team is 11-25-4 and things have blown up completely and Jerseys are hitting the surface of the ice in the Oilers new Building.
