I agree especially wih the Oilers remaining basement dwellers.......and many NHL Teams set their "bar" at what I would call loserville
levels......"compete" levels.I have a background which allows me to fall back on some colorfull street-smarts and to me everything is about the
fight, and you ALWAYS FIGHT TO WIN......never to draw or lose.
McLellan has been playing Possum....playing games.....and by now he understands the history behind the Oilers and the NHS........there is absolutely
zero chance of the Oilers advancing past the first round of the playoffs and virtually no chance of them even making the playoffs for 4 more years so
we can wipe Todds contract completely .....so anyone plannng on betting on them ought to reconsider......the new building will carry forward a curse
much much more potent than anything the Dynasty sucess could have drawn to the organisation and mark these words.....if the first 1-2 years of
residence in the new Building carry the poison of this Decade of Dereliction with them the Fanbase will be jaded for many many many years to come.
Teams aspire to follow the Sharks model because it it an all-thumbs model it is a no-brainer model.....it is a no-skill model....it is a hold em at
the gates and pray for dirty goals model....its a model which some people think is Playoff orientated ....but with the advent of instant replays and
how they are being used to call back ugly greasy goals which this focus RELIES UPON ....well this is definately not the direction a smart GM or Coach
wishes to go in.......certainly not when the NHS offers a System Management Program which revolves around EveryMan skillsets and which has proven via
the last 4 consecutive Stanley Cups to be OPTIMAL.
Todd McLellan and PC KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.......lol....they are still trying to counterfeit the NHS.....and they will fail.......where others have
suceeded like the fLamers have....yes they shall.
The stark reality is that you can put as much lipstick on this pig as you want but there is no majic coming .
Heres how I see it....why spend a lot of time dissecting a System over and over when all you need to do is dissect it 4 times during the first round
of the Playoffs? And really most NHL Coaches can manage at least one single win of those 4 on their own so its simply not smart to waste time.....the
NHS has been trying to help the Oilers since day one....never has an Oiler player been profiled and submarined or ripped apart with bad
intentions.Until Moma2 decided to Profile Conner but even that is simply to remove undue pressure and to stop the abuse he is having heaped upon him
.Never has their System been dissected with bad intentions....teaching via FanPosts has always been the priority.....who cares if the Oilers win 60
games in the regular season huh,if they get swept in the 1st round of the Playoffs? Why bother spending time one doesnt need to spend?Who cares about
"compete" its for losers....lol.
Analytics are excusatory......they are designed to be such......anyone who believes different is lieing to you and to themselves....this thread has
been debunking analytics since 2012.......analytics are dead horse already but they serve excusatory purposes which NHL teams become addicted to on
the managerial level and they provide teams with artificilly contrived leverage with which they may lowball and undermine players during contract
negotiations....... smart player would get a lawyer and sue the NHL team who tried bringing any of these advanced/enhanced stats con-jobs anywhere
near a salary negotiation.....or would be wise to simply hire the NHS to SLAM THE FRONT DOOR SHUT on the con-jobs.
The entire player valuation process the NHL and ALL Pro-Sports implement is based on skewed artificilly manipulated statistics. These con-job
processes discourage PARITY on every level.
Look for 3 games in row Todd McLellan has used 3 different d-zone management focuses....he has adjusted 3 times in a row....LMAO...he is out of
bullets....lol....seriously he is hooped now....his PP has had 2 different primary focuses and been adjusted significantly 3 times as well.
What happened each of those 3 games?Well the Oilers were spudded every time.....last game was actually pitifull.
But consider how easy it was to expose their System focus when they tried triangulating on pucks on their own zone and then isolating their skill
players upice....just consider how simple it was for their oppoents to neuter them....lol....Moma2 DID NOT DIAL IN ANY PUSHBACKS OFFENSIVELY TO CRUSH
THEIR COJONES.....Moma2 simply explained the generic focus they were implementing......terminal tactical data could have been connected to the
exposure and they could have been lit up for 8-9 goals. Now for godness sakes this was Todd Mclellans BIGGEST OVERHAND RIGHT and it had the impact of
a Spanky popcorn-fart .Moma2 isnt even taking this current Coaching /Management rendition seriously how could anyone take it seriously?I mean pushback
data isnt even needed.
This is what I think of the San Jose Model....its like a 260 lb bouncer Moma2 once met head on at a Bar in Sask when Moma2 was a Rigger.....have you
ever seen what 2 headbutts to the temple to to a 260lb piece of meat? Lets just say the only thing Moma2 was worried about from start to finish was
where the bag of beef would be dropping because Moma2s knees were important. The Hawks would drop the San Jose model just like Moma2 dropped the
bag-o-Beef.You simply need to have a superior plan and be bold enough to follow through.
