EXCELLENT THREAD. I'm glad that someone brought this to the table, there is nothing like a reality check for some. It makes me laugh ever time I hear someone say they are a good witch, my question is always, ok, so what does a good witch do? With all those good powers shouldn't you be out healing the world or something, lol.

Seriously though, Satan does not care what you worship as long as you are not giving glory to Jesus Christ then your all good in his book.

Wiccans
Satanist
New Agers

Those who talk to so-called ascended masters or their spirit guides are ALL under the throne of Satan. Funny thing is, none of them ever realize it until they reach the highest level of their belief, once that happens they will know what they are dealing with. From there some will either get out or stick with it. But one thing is for sure, if you are a High Priest in any of these then you know that your father is "Lucifer" but let's not tell that to the new followers right.

Great thread OP

the witch on the broom icon came about from the wise women in the middle ages I believe. But the practise was simply that women would go out into the fields and jump over a broom to show the crops how high to grow. And yes, I am aware of the irony.

Now here is a sad background and a testament to the witch hunts like the OP is proposing here.

The icon of the green faced witch stems from the witch hunts, when accussed women were paraded in cages around the town, their faces were green and yellow from the beatings, and their hands are shown to be gnarled from the accussers beating their hands and fingers, and as they were paraded around town, beaten by the citizens also.

Quite disturbing to be in the 21st century and still see Christians like the poster, advocating very old and wrong concepts.

I wonder if he would stand by and watch a woman beaten for being a witch.

Yet another one willing to judge people without understanding what they believe...

Where do you think most of these "new agers" get their lessons from man...

Do the research before you speak about what you don't understand...

The lessons of Jesus are found in many places, not just your book. Though most do come from that book, i've actually found that more people from these "new age" movements understand Jesus far better then most christians...

Wake up a bit bro... RG is just preaching hatred for your fellow man...

Ok it seems to me you have not made any of the wicca's see the light, so what should be done to them eh?
Do you agree with the bible and they should be killed or are you just gonna threaten them with Hell?

That list, by the way, is getting rather long. I am on it, and basically anyone who replies who isn't part of the Cult. I keep asking questions too, but they either go unanswered, or have rocks thrown at them. Once a person is into that cult, there is no real hope for them. They stop learning right there. They become Static. I would rather be Dynamic, myself. A Static thing remains right where it is, forever. A Dynamic thing is always on the move.

You really want me to start breaking out the examples of Christian cults?

You really want me to break out the murderous history and persecution of Christianity, I don't think ATS has enough server space to hold the list.

Pagans are static? When is the last time Catholics had a woman priest?
Why are nuns still paid poverty wages?

And then when is the last time you have heard of an animal sacrifice Actually the religion is constantly adapted to modern times.

Nice try though. But understand what you are talking about before you stick your foot in your mouth.

Nice catch.

There has been an increase of born agains on ATS, I think it started with one and they got their friends, because most have low post counts.

This is a successful thread of a preach n run.

Jesus, who was the son of a carpenter, lived to become a powerful magician of the shamic, mysticism of the ancient arts, as taught by Moses and handed down through the ages by mystics of all corners of the world. This power is the Christ consciousness that Jesus taught. He claimed to teach "the Way" "the Tao" He never claimed to be God.

Agreed. In my Grail Research Project, I came onto some evidence that Mary, Mother of Jesus, was an Egyptian Priestess. This would easily explain why her and her husband Joseph took the baby to Egypt when they fled in fear of Herod. They took the baby to see his Grandfather. This would also explain how Jesus learned how to perform the High Form of Egyptian Magick, in the very same place Moses learned them, the court of Pharaoh.

And you are right he never claimed to be God too. Why was he praying too, for heaven's sake, if he were God incarnate? And furthermore, there will be no Rapture either. All invented by a preacher named John Nelson Darby.

No the funny thing is some people who claim to be Christians seem to be delighted in telling other people of other faiths that they are following Satan.
Typical post of Iam higher than thou syndrome.....

Kinda ironic isn't it? People love using the sayings of Jesus to promote their new cults. Why is that? Why are people so quick to cherry pick sayings from the Bible to try to get other people to follow their new way of thinking?

It's the ol classic case of "Even Jesus said such and such", but the rest of His teachings are always false or have been altered and distorted for some reason

Just goes to show how powerful that book of fiction is.

I never said I was higher than anyone. But as a follow of Christ I am just doing as I'm told and making sure that new believers aren't so quick to stumble over some of the garbage which is out there.

1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at[a] His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 2 Timothy 4:1-3

Probably because some of these people understand what He was saying better then the so called "authorities" on the subject... Notice i said some...

Why are people so quick to cherry pick sayings from the Bible to try to get other people to follow their new way of thinking?

Simply because "cherry picking" is easy to do... it requires no understanding of what is being said...

You might want to ask one of your local churches that same question...

It's the ol classic case of "Even Jesus said such and such", but the rest of His teachings are always false or have been altered and distorted for some reason

None of his teachings are "false"... its the rest of the bible that is in dispute...
