I saw that red spot of the rocket at the top end of the contrail in the video ...

And? You do realize that was the setting Sun, reflecting off the airplane's surfaces, right?

Why not watch this video, and look closely....do you see the glare? The reflections of the Sun? It's not flames!!!

Thats not a rocket flame, thats the setting sun reflecting off the aircraft, watch closely and you will see the green light on the right wing flash, which part of all this are people failing to understand?

You don't have to see the entire ten minutes of the video. Just watch the three seconds that shows clearly the red flame tail of the rocket. It just can't be airplane.

Why is this such a major issue in the media, that's what I want to know. It seems like this must be building up to something?! Or maybe I just expect too much out of these idiots some times, although I find it peculiar that such launches have been made, moreover that they are gaining so much attention and curiousity in the media.

It's because we haven't been told the truth yet. The governemnt says it was a plane, ok good, so what flight was it? Is there evidence that backs up it was flight XXX?

Thats not a red flame tail, its a reflection, even if this was a missile, that would still be a reflection, but seems as you can see the green light on the wingtip flash, it is clearly a plane......with sunlight reflecting off it.

Sunset reflection? Are you kidding? There is nothing to reflect in the midst of the huge plume cloud of the rocket exhaust. The amount of exhaust is also not consistent with the theory of airplane, let alone the direction of the flight. It looks exactly like the Challenger flying off.

A question. Can rockets reflect sunlight? Or is it just airplanes that can do that?

Seeing aircraft beacons at 35 miles in full sunlight?

Those are some great eyes to see you with!

That is my point. If we had the entire footage we could tell if it was the reflection of the sun, or the flames from a rocket/missile/UFO.

Why are you posting a YEAR OLD VIDEO? It's not proof of anything.

Those lights are designed so other pilots (amongst other reasons) can see them from great distance to avoid mid air collisions, besides, when you see the light in the vid, the camera is zoomed in on the plane.

Beg your pardon???

What does the year the video was made matter? Has the Sun changed that much, in the last year? Are airplanes any different since then?? Have Human eyes been altered in the last year, the way they perceive visible light, the setting Sun, the reddish color that results as the Sun's light is filtered through the thickness of the atmosphere, and an oblique angle?

What has changed, exactly???

When I see the entire ten minutes they filmed, then I'll be more convinced to believe that it was a missile. There was a reason why they only show the thirty seconds or so that they showed.

Hmmmm, may I remind you of the 10-second video clip the Pentagon presented us as proof of Flight 77 too (when they had dozens of videos to choose from)?

Their mantra and specialities are: shave it off, filter it down, air-brush it out and forget it for no one will be the wiser!

Seriously, do you and I reside on the same planet or am I all alone here?
Why does your suspicion (to the length of video) subject to lending THEM credit?
I just don't get this rational.
Really.

Please Mods, ban me before I go insane! (just kidding. Well, about the banning-thang anyway)

Got a lot of full sunlight videos of 35 mile distant aircraft beacons just to make sure I believe that?

I am not saying it is impossible, just that I don't believe it.

We can see the light, but not the plane in a daylight video? Usually it is quite the other way around.

So a former general believes it was not a plane. The evidence (as discussed in other threads) says otherwise.

So, you're basically saying that you trust what you read on ATS over an Airforce General, and someone who served in the Navy for over 20 years?!

Personally, I dont even understand how anyone can believe its an airplane. I dont care if thats the "official" explanation. Dear US govt, I was born at night, but not last night.

Airplanes dont leave condensation trails at that low of an altitude. If they did, air traffic controllers would be screwed. Every airport would be covered in fog.

Airplanes dont fly vertically out of the pacific ocean.

Even if we didnt have the aforementioned points to ponder, wouldnt someone be able to narrow down exactly what plane, what flight, what company the plane was?

I mean come on, even close minded Sean Hannity is suggesting a conspiracy.

I trust the more reliable members who actually bother researching before posting

Because of the evidence which points towards it being an aircraft, and common sense.

Where does it give the altitude?

It didn't fly out of the ocean, it flew out of the horizon.

It has been suggested that it was flight 808, which has documented evidence on a website, don't ask me which one, i can't remember, but look through the thread(s) and you will find it.

I don't know if anybody else has brought up this point yet in this thread or any of the other ones in different forums regarding this story, but if this really was a plane (flight 808 from HI) don't you think that one of the 100+ passengers or crew would have came forth and confirmed this by now? Obviously this story is all over the news, both domestically and worldwide and surely at least one of the passengers would come forward and say that they were on this plane.

Furthermore, if the government wanted to further their lies and agenda don't you think that the FAA or US Airways would have released a BS comment to appease the sheep that take everything they say at face value? I'm pretty sure US Airways have already publicly stated that they cannot confirm that was their flight.

LOL wake up people - this was no plane. I'm going to say that it was a missle launched by the US or a foreign country either, but whatever it was we will never know the truth anyway.

Sometimes I really question the intelligence level of most people in this country. A fleet of UFO's could land on the white house lawn and be filmed by 100's of people and if the government told you it they were pigeons or 'swamp gas' the general public would gobble it up hook line and sinker.

You got all the points correct. Vertical take off. Amount of exhausts. All points to the rocket missile launch. Let's examine the background of those here who claims it was an airplane. I have to doubt their motive.

I noticed that some of this airplane claimers just registered ATS yesterday. Why?

I guess just to post the Navy disinfo and mislead the public.
