Not that I personally need the MSM (nor a celebrity) to back my opinion up but some of you seem to need the old: 'strength in numbers' consensuses to feel vindicated.

And according to this broadcast there still seems to be a lack of answers.

Excellent point.
Where are the passengers who can collaborate this? Or is this going to turn out to be a courier/cargo plane?

take your pick:

1) the passengers aren't aware of this
2) the passengers are laughing their socks off at the missile camp
3) the passengers were aboard the plane and did not witness this from the outside therefore cannot possibly have known that there flight could have caused so many people to be silly.

personally 1 and 3 do it for me.

This thread is polarized between two belief systems: planes vs. missiles. Wish there was more hard info, rather than optical illusions, paranoia, and the ever-popular "common sense" explanations. Without real info, it may as well be an argument about the existence of god(s).

I lean towards the visual evidence that appears more missile-like than a plane...but I'm open to change when/if more evidence appears.

Now this would be my own personal percentage but....I would think 6 out of 10 people are computer savvy.
Of those 6 people, at least 4 of them log onto the Internet (like Yahoo news).
Of those 4 people at least 1 of them visits alternative sites such as this.

So now, let's do some Human Alien 'pretend math'.
Let's say the flight was half full. Perhaps 50 people.
Then by my unofficial approximation at least 5 (if not 2) people are aware of this 'discrepancy' and would probably charge someone like George Noory or Jeff Rense to appear on their show to set the record straight.

Just doing some rough estimation so don't beat me up please.

Irrelevant diversion tactic. There was no passenger in that rocket. Or can there be?

I, including many other members here, never agreed it was an airplane in the first place.

Doesn't matter if they're "computer savvy", or Bill Gates and Steve Wozniak combined!

What part of "They Can't See The Contrails Their Airplane Is Making From Inside It" is hard to understand?

Any one of those people can read about it now, see that it was the flight that they were on that is responsible for all the media noise, and all this incredible nonsense, and they will wonder, "But, I didn't see anything!!!"

Next thing, the "missile" people will point to THAT as some sort of hair-brained "proof"....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"missile" people: You keep diverting, ignoring, distracting from these very important questions. Questions that destroy the "missile" theory completely:
>What kind of "missile" flies at about the same speeds as a commercial airliner? This event lasted quite a long time....secondary, why does the event look NOTHING like actual videotaped missile launches?
>The contrail. WHY is the part that "missile" people are calling the "bottom" of it (since they think it launched from the surface of the ocean)...WHY is that part NOT dark, as it should be, because of the Sun already having set?
>Radar. WHY nothing alerted either by ATC, nor NORAD? NORAD can track objects (unclassified size) down to as small as two cm, as high as LEO (low earth orbit).
>WHY do the plenty of similar examples shown, that have the same optical illusion (where it appears an airplane contrail is shooting "up" from the ground) not indicate that the event on Monday was just the same? Why do people who have little to NO experience in matters involving aviation and flying think that they can make this assertions, based only on the flimsy "evidence" from this one cameraman's video, and the resulting (and probably intentional, by editors in the studio) hype?
Only four....FIVE now.... there, and not yet has a credible answer been offered, by the "missile" enthusiasts.
Should be easy, right?
Honestly if I knew that I was aboard a flight that caused such a huge sensation and confusion, knowing the aircraft's contrail created an illusion of a missile launch at sea, I would laugh, joke with family and friends about it, then forget about it.
Why on Earth should any of the passengers "come forward" to the media and say "I was on that flight"..... Personally I wouldn't give two hoots that is caused a stir. I would find it hilarious, and I most certainly would not feel compelled to get in front of a news camera and tell them.
For one, most people would prefer to avoid such a thing, because they either don't give a sh*t that their flight caused confusion and would rather just get on with life, and two a lot of people would probably know the amount of BS they would get from the "conspiracy nuts" calling them paid dis-info agents and the like.
I KNOW that would occur on ATS... If passengers came forward there would be a plethora of fruitcakes calling them liars and paid-out.
So what if no passengers have "come forward"? They don't have to and they don't need to
I served in the US Navy for 21 years. I bet my life on it that it was a missile launch. It came from out at sea and most likely was launched from a submarine. Seriously, how stupid can anyone be to believe that it was a plane or an amateur rocket. It amazes me how they insult the intelligence of the general public by saying they have no idea what it is yet it amazes me even more at how stupid the American people are to believe their story.
I agree,the things is that people just refuse to believe what they are seeing.........
My post copied from another thread on the subject:
Here is a screen grab of when the green light flashes, it is brighter at one point in the video, but pausing at just the right moment was difficult.....tell me, how many rockets have green navigation lights?
But all I would like to hear is: these 'people' were indeed on board.....setting off into the Sunset as some of you are suggesting. (But I get your point though).
Here's my problem: every excuse the government seems to offer up (ever since JFK) seems to be chalked off as a series of coincidences and I have had it with this bull-crap.
I know I can't go through life with 'coincidences' as an excuse (sure, tell that to the judge).... so why are they able to?
Have people just become stupid, confused, cynical and distrusting all of a sudden or...................has the government really offered up some LAME excuses (JFK assassination, Oklahoma bombing, flight 800, JFK Jr, Phoenix Light and Sept 11th, Norway spiral and now this, as examples................)
They have bitter-ed me up and enough is enuff!
I get your point too. But I would think, when so many are struggling, anyone would want to become an instant opportunist. They can 'sell' their story to CNN, Coast 2 Coast or Disneyland if they wanted to.
So, not sure if I believe people are laughing especially when times are so hard and every other person HATES their government. These really aren't 'laughing' times unfortunately. I wish they were and posting on this forum makes me forget how brutally hard it really is out there. This is an escape and perhaps we tend to lose the level of reality that's really going on out there.
Well seeing the alternative is going crazy then yes, laugh away (but really, things are getting pretty scary).
At least the Native Americans (sorry about this Thanksgiving celebration we seem to honor) don't have to answer TOO much to the authorities (except when it comes to taxes) like we do.
We have to almost tell them how much toilet paper we use and............why! And these are the same people we're supposed to trust when it comes to them explaining events to (for) us?
Really?
Good gawd!
Bless us all......................really!
Keeping with this whole coincidence trend, what say you to this:
CBS2 and KCAL9 are sister stations in Los Angeles and CBS2 was the one who 'broke the story" on Monday.
And now, today, KCAL9 makes a 'hard landing????
Oh will the coincidences and wonders ever cease?
PACOIMA (CBS) — CBS 2/KCAL 9′s Sky9 made a hard landing on a runway at Whiteman Airport in Pacoima Friday when its engine failed one minute after takeoff.
BTW, USAir flight 808 for todayis airborne, as I type this, been about One hour and 22 minutes since takeoff:
flightaware.com...
Will pass just about directly OVER the Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) today, on this routing. Different than on Monday's flight, which was about 20-30 miles south of that route, as it neared the California coast.
Not if you keep looking for them. What possible connection do you see here? Incidentally, you asked "who fired this missile and why?" The US? Wouldn't they be the first to boast about the success of their new seagoing surface to orbit anti-satellite system? McInerty would be gloating about the unrivaled superiority of Lockheed Martin. Iran? No-one would believe them if they tried to claim credit, except perhaps McInerty. A rogue terrorist organization? They would be all over the internet capitalizing on their accomplishment. The Chinese? Why tip the US off if you have missile firing stealth boats? The fact that no-one has come forward to take credit suggests there never was a missile.
