Was NOT an Airplane (as per General)

Airplane or not I find it highly suspicious that no one in an official capacity has stepped forward with a definitive answer to what it was. If it was a plane then someone from FAA or whatever should have come forward within the day or at the very least the day after the event to lay the matter to rest. If it was a missile, OUR missile, then someone should have said, at the very least, that this was ours but they can't talk about specifics because it was a secret project. The fact that neither party has come forward in this post 9/11 world we live in makes me uneasy. Honestly, I don't think this was a plane or a secret project. I think it was a foreign entity. All this talk about how it couldn't be from someone else reminds me of all the talk that people had about terrorism before 9/11. We had protocol and systems back then to defend us against it and look what happened. Maybe history is repeating itself again.

I am sorry I fail to see the passenger plane flying right beside it that would tell you this obvious missile is flying at the same speed as a passenger plane.....

BTW, first of all most taped videos of missiles fired from subs are made sideways, not the way this missile was videotaped.

Second since this missile was filmed basically from behind, yes at an angle but from behind, it gives the illusion that it is traveling slower when in fact it is traveling at the same speed as other missiles with multistage boosters.

It is the fringe, and sometimes barely literate who see a "conspiracy" around every corner.

Those of us with some practical experience under our belts, some life knowledge and understanding can cut through the "conspiracy" garbage, and read the facts and judge appropriately.

"Conspiracy Theorists" who thrive on them (for they appear to have nothing else to live for, sometimes) need] to have a windmill to tilt at. I hope that reference isn't too vague, because I think it's quite apt, in many cases.

An easier one to understand, perhaps....religion.

Most religion adherents, and most "conspiracy theories" believers, are incredibly similar in style, willful disregard for solid evidence that threatens their dogma, and skewed paradigms, and general fingers-in-the-ears attitude, while maintaining a wild-eyed frothy manner, at times......

Last I hear this is a Conspiracy site and if some of us lack practical experience under our belts in you opinion well Sir your are out of touch with your own belt. I am no a self proclaimed pilot nor am I a doctor but I do and I mean do have experience in life just like the other people that live on this planet.

I was talking to my grandpa about this today. He's 95 years old by the way. He said what was damning in all of this is that the pentagon took two full days to ID a plane. First they request a count of all missiles before concluding it's a plane. They don't know how many missiles they have? They don't know when one goes off so they have to count them? The story will never add up and all of the pictures don't either. My family and people already know what it is as they have been talking about it all coming for years before I was even born.

What I know is that FAA especially around a major metropolitan area where a system of air traffic control would have easily determined it origin and destination of any civilian aircraft particularly post 9/11 would have figured it out or someone would have been fired but instead they lost there minds so it OK there forgiven.
Rules for the military are far different as they do as they please when they please to do it and tell what they want for reasons of their own so through this understanding I can get why answers and explanations would be vague, outright lies or simply not forth coming at all.
Which makes sense in the scope of the Sun Tzu / Machiavellian school of business where every single phrase isn't just double speak for something but has hundreds of underline messages intended for some people and millions of unintended meanings for the confusion of everyone else
Now with the understanding of the above knowledge I feel safe in my assumption that this is military in origin.
But that opens up all sort of new possible within my equation for what probably happened this is my list will stick with my top 3 first is
1) Is the firing of a missile from a sub just off the west left or in my opinion best coast now an astute person would ask by who and for what purpose the nominees are
A) and the most likely US or the U.S. military may after the repeal of dont ask dont tell has erupted into a civil war for domination why because that's gay and sometime the Alpha lion needs to roar to shut up pride or and this is where i ask my favor question while making inferences behind the reasoning of the mad hatagon is where this thing went cause if it headed across the Pacific then where did it go or better land now assuming it was a test that location would seem to be a fine spot to shot down a Ballistic missile with H.A.A.R.P if that actually works or any other anti missile tech which would be cool because it i think it would worked but better because all the foreign nations with nuclear launch capability or dreams of it would be hella hurt after that slap to the face 95% chance reasoning for this is my own so don't trip

I think you're more correct with your first assertion of this being a military missile.

Now I have to ask, when they test missiles, are they not detonated? Are 'test' missiles the same (as far as causing damage) as real missiles? Or are 'test' missiles usually dud missiles?

If this were either (a packed/loaded or dud missile) if it landed in the ocean, would it have caused an obvious explosion? I never took up Missile-101 in school so I really don't know the consequences of firing a 'test' missile.

I am not so far removed from thinking this was China's too though. The fact that no official claims this is speaking volumes. Everything is still speculative at best.

I served in the US Navy for 21 years. I bet my life on it that it was a missile launch. It came from out at sea and most likely was launched from a submarine. I hear you. I too have some Navy experience, and know a bit about missiles, and I too say no way was that a plane. I think it was China showing off...they can come to our shores unseen, and fire a missile off undetected, and get away clean. That, in itself, sends a strong message.
