You have provided no source saying the Pentagon confirmed it was a missile.
phage bro your trying way to hard here, everyone knows your stance on the issue, be a sport sit back and wait, if your right you get to gloat, if your wrong your making yourself look stupid keeping at it.
If a nuclear weapon is exploded in a vacuum-i. e., in space-the complexion of weapon effects changes drastically: First, in the absence of an atmosphere, blast disappears completely. Second, thermal radiation, as usually defined, also disappears. There is no longer any air for the blast wave to heat and much higher frequency radiation is emitted from the weapon itself.

They are calling it a missile but doing so cautiously so as to not alarm people.

Bit harsh. their opinion is worth the same as yours or mine and at this point I'm still not sure what it is unless I believe the weatherman.
Come to think of it, he's probably better qualified than most in the WH..lol
The Federal Aviation Administration, the Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and California Reps. Dana Rohrabacher and Jane Harman -- whose coastal districts are closest to the offshore contrails -- were at a loss to explain the images.
"Sometimes we don't find these things out in a timely manner," he added. "Right now, all indications are that it was not [Department of Defense] involvement."

i am unfamiliar with the amouont of computerized technology involved, i for one am of the thought that this is a missile.
Just hypothesising here but could a government/ group of people/ russian teenager hack into the missile computerization launch sequences. Perhaps demanding some sort of ransom, the first one was to show they have control, the second to show they arent playing around. The first one Scotsdale (i am here on vacy saw the trail it was without a doubt not an airplane) happened before nightime wanted to be seen. This one 35 miles out of LA is definatly a look at what i can do move.
is it possible that the US is being threatened with its own weapons? not hypothetically im asking as far as the technology/ hacking abilities out there.
Side note china just surpassed US with fastest/smartest computer.
