So dangerous that it could possibly rewrite the genetic code of the entire planet!

Then there is geoengineering (that's chemtrails). Those toxic chemicals they are spraying are coming down and killing our soil and killing our plant life. Please take note that this is not only poisoning us, it is poisoning our planet!

Guess what all these environmental issues have in common!!!! They are all INDISPUTABLY ANTHROPOGENIC. We may or may not have any control over climate change...but deforestation, GMO crops, and geoengineering are all real man made environmental threats that we can put a stop to by simply not doing them anymore. Now if our politicians will get their heads out of their @$$es and deal with these issues first, maybe then I will take global warming a bit more seriously. But until that happens...I see no point.

You forgot about the mountains of garbage that humans produce. What about the oceans that are 20% more acidic because of increased CO2. What about the decline of phytoplankton by 40% in the last 60 years?

There are many things to worry about, I agree.

Oh, and chemtrails may just be your government trying to geoengineer the climate in order to buy us some time. Sounds crazy but look it up

If the earth has its own swings in climate change, you will never stop it. Humans might have influenced the climate change to a degree that is truth. However, humans could never out do nature. What nature wants to do nature will do, humans will just have to deal with it.


Again, humans might have had some degree of influence in the climate change. It is impossible that we have had the degree of influence that some claim though. That is simply the huge ego of humans speaking when they think they have that degree of control on nature.

What is going to happen will, no amount of spewing regurgitated crap will change that. In a way, the OP is right there is no stopping what is coming; however, it is not the tragedy that is being relayed. Humans will be removed from the earth and it will go on as a different earth, a better earth.

I agree completely. In fact, my point about the permafrost melting illustrates what you are saying. We warmed the arctic, the permafrost melted, the vast stores of methane were released into the atmosphere, and mother earth cooked the human race allowing her to eventually heal from the damage they had done.

Just to point something out, in 2007 99% of economists said there was no recession coming, and there was not a housing bubble. Point being, you can't just trust the opinions of so-called 'experts' when they have made careers stating a certain view point and looking exclusively for data to support their view point.

The earth has warmed and cooled for millions of years. The earth has gone through natural catastrophic disasters throughout HUMAN history. Jungles turn into deserts; deserts turn in jungles. Land becomes sea-floor; sea-floor becomes habitable land. And what were humans at those times doing? Blaming themselves, sacrificing people and asking their God(s) for forgiveness. Not much has changed has it? We still don't understand how the Earth, or Sun, or Universe really work. But the human ego always thinks they do, and they are always proven wrong. As a general rule of thumb, no matter what area you are thinking about, find the expert consensus and go the other direction.

The fact is, people who study climate change say that yes we are warming and yes human emissions are to blame. The fact that economists got it wrong on the economy has nothing to do with global warming.

In any case, if you take the time to watch the video and read my links I think you'll understand where I am coming from.

I think you are misinterpreting what many are saying. The vast vast majority of people are not saying that Global Warming or climate change is a hoax, they are saying that its not man-made.

And I am saying that it is man made and that 97% of climate scientists agree with me. The 3% that don't agree include people like Richard Lindzen who distort and cherry-pick.

that video was debunked. They did not show updated temps that rise SHARPLY while solar activity does not.. Instead they chose to stop the temps at 1980 (I believe). Why, because showing the temps after that point shows that their argument falls apart. Google it yourself....I watched an entire show on the debunking of that entire "documentary".

There were multiple investigation that all exonerated them. If you read what was said in the emails in context, you will find that nothing of substance was said. I have read the quotes in question (like the one about hiding the decline) and they were taken completely out of context to make them sound shady when in fact they were not.

The only thing clear was their contempt for climate change skeptics who cherry pick facts.
