Hi folks,

Just have to reiterate what you said Tragic - because I'm in the UK, everyone else posts when I'm in bed TRYING to actually sleep and first thing I do when I get into work is go to this thread....SO MUCH HAPPENS!

I had an epic dream/experience last night and it's left me kinda confused -

It would take too long to tell the whole thing, but I found myself in a forest of what seemed to be like bamboo or something. It was an area where it was really dusky if you know what I mean. I got this feeling that it was a very negative area and those who dwelt in it couldn't see me and vice versa, but we knew we were both there.
I was there for a reason and got what I needed but I can't describe in words what I got, but as soon as I got it, the 'veil' as it were disappeared and I was left facing those who dwelt there.

They were not the sort of beings you'd give hug to, put it that way! They were shocked I'd been in the middle of them and angry that I'd got what I came for.

I found myself running through these bamboo-type trees knowing that they were behind me and making horrible screaming/growling noises. Then for some reason I thought - "NOW" and stood side-on to them and what seemed like misted glass appeared on my left-hand side - the side now facing them.

They just stopped and moved past me, not seeing me again. From my right-hand side, coming towards them was a woman with short, blonde messy hair. She seemed to be their leader or master or whatever and she said (well didn't say...I just felt her words), "can't you see him there? He's made a fool out of you all!"

They were right in front of me now and all just turned to their right to face me and saw me.

I knew had to get out of there, so for some reason I crouched and tensed, and when the tension was right, I stood up and kind of 'let go', arching my spine forwards and felt like I let out a bubble of light. But along with this bubble, was an almost painful buzzing where my pineal gland is and I sat up in bed with a real release. Like the feeling when you've held your breath and can't hold it any more, then let it out?

I looked at my phone to check the time and it was 4:04, but my phone is in 24hr, so it was 04:04!!!!

I didn't really sleep after that, just kinda rested, but I've felt brilliant all day!

Apologies if that was extremely wierd to read, but anyone got any ideas what that was about?

Much love...

Anywho, I'm going to spend a few days back in nature and see if I can't recharge my physical and spiritual batteries, and maybe spend some time meditating on it all. I urge you all to start doing the same, because right now there seems to be some sort of brief period of peace in the metaphysical, and it seems like right now is the best time to take some time to get charged up.

Funny, I've set aside a couple of days next week to go camping--the urge to spend time meditating and connecting with nature has been overwhelming. I'm not feeling very centered at the moment, bouncing between numb and anxious. Bleck.

I hope your time away does help you recharge. I look forward to hearing about it when you get back!

And Tragic, Wow is right. There are definitely a lot of the same types on this thread.

Mike, fascinating dream! Did you feel like it was a lucid dream? Were you in control of what you were doing, even somewhat?

I’ve been debating posting this. I don’t know that it’s relevant to the thread, except that we all seem to have agreed that it is a good and safe place to talk about our experiences in relation to the changing atmosphere and events in our lives. So here goes, I’m dumbfounded.

I think we can visit other places in our dreams. I wanted to maybe see if we could meet in our dreams or I could dream of you or something, I wasn’t sure where to go with it. So, I prayed/thought/stated that I would have dreams about you guys/us together or something. One dream that seems relevant is I was in a bar that I go to with my husband sometimes and I saw this lady at the bar with glitter on her face, also little tiny star shaped glitter. I was so excited, I ran up to her and said “You like glitter too! It looks so pretty on you, I love glitter, and sequins, and sparkly stuff!” She just smiled at me like she wasn’t shocked at all. Funny thing is I woke up thinking that the woman was Tragic.

But that’s not all. I mentioned the music I heard yesterday, with the drums and bells. This morning when I turned on the TV to see if anything useful or interesting was on, there wasn’t, so I switched the channel to one of the music channels and there was a video on I’ve never seen and never heard the song. It has drums and bells playing together like I heard yesterday, although it wasn’t the same rhythm and had other music with it too. I started having that same laughing/crying feeling and I was so excited and I felt a lot of tingling on the top of my head. I’m thinking what the heck… but loved the song and video. Later today I looked up the video, but found a different video that goes with it. (this one www.youtube.com... ) The video starts with a woman being blindfolded with a sequined gold cloth. Another part that struck me was that different people were throwing glitter on their faces! In the other video ( www.youtube.com... ) there are blue girls in gold sequined dresses. Another part shows a blue flag being carried that is about the color of the blue girls, and it is a color blue that I love. The lyrics are a bit odd, but parts of them really touch me, personally. Now for some reason all this came together, I guess it’s called synchronicity? Not sure, but this seems too much to be a coincidence. So this may be just something for me, but since it kind of involved one of you guys and also another post I made, I thought it might interest someone.

edit: wow, I just watched the video again and there is so much going on in it and so much color and action. The singer is so flamboyant and dynamic and has an amazing voice and look(s). I am amazed, to say the least.

Hahahaha, Tragic you made me laugh. Cags was the nickname some friends gave me to short my original nickname that's Cagalli (it was taken here ='(), they called me both Caggy and Cags, so when I reffer to myself in boards I usually take the second to differenciate it from the original. Weird stuff, I've had tons of nicknames since I started to "exist" in the net, but this one is the one I feel more comfy.

I also had an experience like yours, Ceri, but the name that came to me was Sheila. A little research and it was a celtic name. In fact I've met this Sheila more than once, and she looks like an older version of myself with long hair (and by long I mean LOOONG, to her knees). Sometimes she appears with blue butterfly wings. The times I've contacted her visually had been while meditating or in some dreams, she claims to be my higher self

and butterflies... I have a weird attachment to those little winged bugs... yesterday I had a dream of my aunt giving her grandchild a lot of them, packed in paper envelopes, and we free them on my house.... it was so pretty, all the flat was full of blue and white butterflies....

in other note, last night I felt that something or someone was calling me, intense energy filled me, and I was shaking. My crown was numb, and I couldn't concentrate very well. I was working on the pc and couldn't pay attention because I needed to finish what I was doing... When I finally turned off this thing, tried to contact it again but nothing happened, also an aftershock awoke me violently from my meditative status. I hate when those things happens, usually I don't pay atention, but last night made one of my bedroom walls sound too loud... anyway, I couldn't contact anything, I slept very bad and finally woke up like if I've had a deadly fight with a rolling pin... obviously the rolling pin won the battle because now I feel squished and smashed like pizza dough. I can't recall any experience, just the stupid dream I had that isn't relevant.

And today I had so many things to do T_T but it's too late to do them, at least the important ones like going to have the blood test I need to go to the doctor this week.

Whoa.
Today, I had like...6 dreams in a row...and they were all lucid..I was in complete control.
I remember everything so vividly.. traveling to different locations and times...
I've never been able to lucid dream repeatedly before..

...I'm experiencing a lot 'firsts' lately...it's been crazy.

My personal opinion and that of many others is that our consciousness travels in the astral realm whenever we dream.
A friend of mine is able to go to 'class' every night... just pop right back into a dream he left off..and it's always a class with other astral travelers..
The teachers were very wise and Egyptian... he told me some crazy stuff that they told him, and..whoowweee..the world is crazzyy!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you all know this is the first thread I check every time I log onto ATS. It's just such an awesome thread, and more and more people are getting involved in it! It's really cool.

Yeah, I've taken a backseat on this thread now, like some of the others who were here in this thread since the beginning. I want to let all the newcomers have their share of the spotlight. I am reading each and every post, and many of them resonate with me. So keep writing, because you all have some great things to say.

Thoughts are definitely pretty scrambled today. Today is going good, it just feels like I have a lot ahead of me for the rest of my day and night. That is not a bad thing. Tonight feels like it will be an adventure night for me, and I might go out and about and do some nature exploring.

I also wanted to add I haven't quite been sleeping lately. Instead, its more resting. When I close my eyes when I'm laying in bed, instead of going to sleep, I have deep meditational thinking time. It's like my body is resting while my mind has time and energy to think and think all night.

Anyone else experience this lately?

Thank you everybody for all of your replies! I was trying to figure out what made a person ‘sensitive‘, are they usually introverted or can they also be extroverted? Judging by the replies I got it seems that it is pretty much down the middle.
The extroverts I socialize with seem to be as sensitive as a door knob, but the more reserved ones I spend time with seem to be more capable of having some sensitive traits. But my theory might be out of the window considering the mix of personalities that I noticed here. So many people here (and I) feel that something is not right and have been feeling differently lately but yet if I bring the subject up to my sister she has not a clue what I am talking about.
Thank you for helping me look at it in another way. It has always amazed me that some people seem to be wired differently than others. And why.

I'm kinda extroverted, I have a lot of acquitances and I like to party a lot... but after that, I just want to be alone in my house, and there's times that I really don't like to party (like now) and just spend my time alone.

All of us should really stay in touch and connect the dots...
I have been doing this with over 4,000 people and it's all adding up.
Seriously... We should come together! This is amazing stuff.

Seems like it stopped happening now but for the last month or so it would just start happening right out of the blue.

Dont know if its related but I thought I would post it incase anyone else has had this happen

LOL Ellie, that's so cool. It's funny to me cause I actually do have glitter in the shape of little stars that I absolutely adore. I don't want to use anymore cause I don't want to waste it hehe. Last Halloween I actually used it on myself and my daughter who's name is Blue. (Yuppers, odd connection.) Then I started to think, well, maybe she encountered my daughter in the dream. But had you met her, the response you would have gotten would have been more like "OMG I love glitter!! Let's dance!" lol the smiling quietly reaction would be more my style.

Cags, I'm glad I could make you laugh. You certainly make me smile and laugh here.
I posted earlier about the whole dificulty meditating last night. It was just so frustrating. I would almost be able to get there then I'd lose it. The few times I was close I actually tried to focus energy on TS. I know we could all use a break right now but for some reason I'm really concerned about him. I can't quite put my finger on it yet. But I'm glad he took the rest to just 'be'.

Did you feel like it was a lucid dream? Were you in control of what you were doing, even somewhat?

It was incredibly lucid! Sometimes I'm kinda watching myself almost like a movie screen, but this was one of the "this is me - I'm in this situation and making the decisions".
It felt like I was physically there and really running through that forest or whatever it was.
But it was tensing to release that light bubble that was the strangest feeling - I could feel the energy through every part of my body/soul and knew the right time to release it. Coupled with that almost painful buzzing towards the back of my head made for strange experience!

The feeling afterwards was like when you've been underwater for more than long enough and break the surface of the water and gasp with every fibre of your lungs for air.

I've always had really massive, epic dreams as far back as I can remember, but only started to make note of them from when I started University. Now scarily close to 30, I've got quite a few written down - that dream will be no exception!

I think we can visit other places in our dreams. I wanted to maybe see if we could meet in our dreams or I could dream of you or something, I wasn’t sure where to go with it.

Ellie, I reckon it is possible to meet on the astral plane.
Not sure how to go about it though...is it concentrating or searching for the persons souls vibration, or predetermining a certain place? Would love to know - maybe something to look into?
It's half 12 in the afternoon here so obviously, I'll be massively in trouble at work if I set out to meet anyone on the astral plane with my head on my keyboard!

It's like my body is resting while my mind has time and energy to think and think all night.

Solar, I'm definitely with you when you say about the 'resting' and not sleeping thing. Guess now, I'm kind of used to waking up shattered and goin into work with a face like the back-end of a horse!

Much love...

Lol oh no, you too?

Don't sweat it amigo, I used to get those all the time when I hung drywall for a living. I think it has something to do with the pulse? But I have no data to back up that theory. Do you spend a lot of time standing or sitting? Carry heavy weight at work?

Again, I wouldn't jump to any super-natural causes just yet and perhaps Google it? In fact...

I also truly believe that we can meet while we dream/ on the astral plane. I think our capabilities are severly hindered by what society deems the 'norm'. So, most just don't even consider that there may be so much more available to us in this form. I mean, why not? Hmm that would be an interesting experiment. To try to arrange a meet up in this fashion. How intriguing. I wonder if it would have to be some place familiar to anyone wanting to visit.

I have a question regarding the lucid dreaming though. Alright, I at times have lucid dreams as I assume most others do. Now, there are times when I can feel my body falling asleep and my mind is still awake and I believe that's a good start to controlling it. But usually I just become so overwhelmed by the tiredness that I slip under while just off thinking about nothing/everything unintentionally. Other times I make it to the point where I get flashes of dreams and I know I'm actually sleeping but it's right on the brink and I lose it. Then of course there are the seemingly too rare occasions that I actually do realize I'm completely asleep, dreaming and in control. But I get so excited I end up waking myself up.
It's very frustrating. Any tips would be very appreciated.

On another note - I was meditating last night and I can thankfully report that last night went much better than the one before. (I think it was the one before. Wow, it feels like weeks ago... eep) Now, while I was doing my exercises of breathing and cleansing etc I sarted getting vibrations so strong that I could feel the pressure in my ...skull heh. I normally do get some good vibrations all through me, but this was different. This was more like ... it was like I imagined if I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror I would be able to see energy tendrils coming from every pore. You know the way a tuning fork looks when you strike it and it vibrates that way? I unfortunately ended up with a minor headache that still won't go away. That was me, especially my head last night. Wondering if anyone else experienced this strength recently?

I've considered the fact that I just may be crazy. But I have accepted that I would rather be crazy and expressing myself freely than crazy and pretending to be in tune with the masses.

ah crud, I forgot. I also meant to reply to the poster asking about the vibrations in his legs. I have experienced this myself but it didn't start happening until I had taken a fall back a little over a year and a half ago. I assumed it was either nerve damage (it was a nasty fall heh) OR it was because I had my cell phone always on one hip or the other. Kind of like a ghost appendage thing. You know the one, the thing where even if you lose it, sometimes it feels as though it's still there. Happens enough to be scary but if you think it's your cell going off ... well, that makes me think that you are so used to havng it there you're having a phantom vibrating effect from that. Took me about 6 months after getting rid of my cell for it to go away. But that's just my 2 cents.

edited to add reply at bottom.

Weird dreams last night as well...Giant space ships in the sky (and crystal clear imagery)...then I was in a different place, where I was watching over this apartment, except for some reason I had lost a chunk of time and memeory of what happened during that time...then I followed a psychic around the building, where we watched spirits pass by, and showed a knowing look that we were the only ones that could see it. She told me I was a gatekeeper in the past.
