FED kills a real life friend (former ATS member & Military Man of 12yrs) - PLEASE help solve this!

This reeks of a cover-up in my estimation. First they want their guns back. Now they say he was into kiddy porn. I don't know why, but this has an eerie air about it in the same way as William Cooper. I gotta read more as I may've posted prematurely...

Read what you just posted..."including email addresses and "real life" names"...highlyoriginal wants only his ATS user name...we already know his real life name...it's perfectly acceptable for me to ask another member about other posters, for instance, if I really liked their post/thread, but forgot their user name and couldn't find the post/thread anymore...besides, the privacy rule is in place so people don't get spammed etc...or even worse, allow the FEDS and other organizations to identify specific posters...but that isn't much of a worry anymore now is it? THE GUY IS DEAD! The worst thing that happens, is we end up linking an ATS profile to a dead guy. If the guy didn't use ATS, then we won't find anything, or link anyone to any member, and there will be no personal info of any ATS member revealed.

Good on you, but having seen highlyoriginal around ATS for a while now, and reading his posts, I'm positive this isn't a hoax, his words sound genuine, he always provides good input, and I can't find anything hinting towards this thread being a hoax. BTW, you obviously haven't looked at the other threads and posts from highlyoriginal, because you'd see they most certainly aren't any more elaborate or "highly original" then most posters on ATS...there is absolutely nothing odd about other posts and threads made by highlyoriginal.

I have no reason to make anything up. You think I just found this story and made this all up? If you think so then I will honestly leave ATS.

Look, I fully believe what you're saying here, but you have to expect that people will question you when we're dealing with a conspiracy this large. As you said, you are under a lot of pressure, but if this is indeed a real conspiracy, you can expect agents to try to discredit you and derail this thread in any way possible. PLEASE don't let them stop you in your searches, and PLEASE don't leave ATS because of them...you said your self you WILL NOT stop until you get to the bottom of this...and unlike others, I can see why you've came to ATS and asked for our help, especially if this guy was a member here! So...stay strong, and keep digging...but also remember to watch your back and stay safe...this guy was killed for a reason we have yet to determine, and you could be getting into something deep here...I definitely think there is something majorly suspicious with the story...and I'll try to help all I can...so please, stay with us and keep us informed.

If I'm posting a point someone has mentioned, I apologize. A couple of things. If he was dishonorably discharged, I don't believe he could legally own a gun. The next problem I have is the stepdaughters you and your friend dated. It mentions his kids from a previous marriage, and his current wife and his children. Never mentions step children. Not disputing you, you seem like a straight shooter. I get paid to figure stuff out.

Those are my problems with the initial info.

Quick story to back up his ucmj injustices.

I was D.D on halloween. I don't drink and drive. 245am pulled onto base. Rolled down window, showed I'd. 18 year old E-1 gate guard asks if I'd been drinking. I said no, but the passed out guys in the car have been. Needless to say I was taken in and cuffed. No rights read. Just cuffed. I was informed that failure to take a breathalyzer meant that I was admitting guilt. After blowing .000 over and over again, after multiple calibrations, the dod cop couldn't figure out why I was there for. Then he tried to drug test me. I asked him why, he said that I must have been driving crazy in order to get pulled over. I told him I stopped, rolled down my window to show my I'd to the guard and he smelled alcohol. He called you. You cuffed me and brought me down here. Then I asked him if I could go. He said no.

Long story short, I told him he was a dod cop, and not in my chain of command. I left after he removed the cuffs and called his boss, who was brighter. I was assure by legal that no ucmj actions would be taken. Needless to say, there were.


3 months later, I decided to get out instead of stay in. Within a week, there were charges brought up against me for " failure to take a urinalysis". Wait for it..... Wait for it..... They dropped the charges!!! Not because I was innocent, but because my department head said that I was the best worker he had. Go figure.


Needless to say. Muzzleflash is a smart guy. If you listen to him your soul will have peace, but your life here will be hard. I found out the hard way. Once you learn the game. You can win. You are smart. Get smarter. Good luck.

proof: you barely know the guy, but yet he talks about shaven beavers with you and tells you how the military screwed him over? It's funny, his. Co-workers never had any inkling that he had past militry problems, especially dishonorable discharge. But, you, you are privy to all of this? It doesn't add up.

I don't think it's fair to make assumptions about what this man may or may have not told highlyoriginal, despite what we know about the extent of their relationship. Maybe highlyoriginal has a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why he knows these things about his "homeboy"...I will admit though, you have presented some good points which need to be addressed...and the perfectly reasonable explanation better be a good one...or maybe you misread something? I'll have to go back and read carefully through highlyoriginal's posts...providing quotes for your claims would be nice. Anyhow, we'll probably have to wait until highlyoriginal gets back to us...if he ever does...

This whole thing smells bad to me. All of it. I just can't figure out if that's because sardines smell bad if you've left them out in the heat too long, or if because someone sprayed way too much Febreze afterwards.


Obviously they are problems with what happened initially, with the whole killing and whatnot. Those problems are obvious.

What needs to be found is whether or not the guy actually had the porn on his computer. That's not hard to figure out, anybody with a medium-strong knowledge of computers could find out whether or not he actually had some in his possession. Of course they could lie and say he did when he didn't.

If he did not, why was he killed? I mean crap happens, and you never really know how people will act behind closed doors. Whether or not anyone wants to hear it, there is a chance the guy actually had child porn on his computer. But if he didn't, that makes his killing totally unjustifiable, as if it weren't in the first place. I guess that would just make it worse.

Keep up your efforts, OP. But, be careful. It's a jungle out there.

Fair enough. I searched the site on one of the pages. It was a leatherneck site. This had news artcles about the aformentioned sequence of events. How, " no one saw it coming"

I'm not saying it's not a conspiracy. Just reading the news articles, anyone with the iq of Oprah could figure it out. It's definitely a fishy subject. No doubt about it.

I'm questioning his comments about not really knowing him. Then, 2 posts later he Talks abou how he dated his step daughter, which no cited article mentions exists. I don't talk to chick's parents about beavers. Whether shaved or hairy. It's just one minute he barely knows the guy and the next he's a drinking buddy that he tells all his deepest darkest too.

After reading through all 8 pages, I agree this is a violation of the T&C. Although, it does give the calling for ATS investigation, It is something that the OP could do him/her self at the start page. To ask others is a violation.

I feel for your loss, I truly do. If there was any relevant information here tied to your friends death, there would have been a few more people involved from ATS and it should have been an easy find. If he had uncovered anything worthy of his death or anything he associated with fellow members, there should have/be more members in the know. Nothing!

I think it was a chain reaction of events. He shot himself first followed by an instinctive defense from those around him that opened fire at the moment of his suicide. IMO

Some things are never solved OP. This may be one of those cases. People can do some strange things when a gun and possible prison sentence is pointed at them.

I wish you the best in your quest, but it should be removed from ATS as it is a violation.

If the government wanted him dead, I doubt they would raid his home, usher out his family and then do it there. Just does not seem logical. If they wanted to kill him, arrest him and take him to some field and let him run and shoot him then. "He was trying to escape". Not saying he wasnt executed, but.....

The family deserves to know the truth; to know that Darius Hill was not involved with child pornography and that this was an execution done by the government.

The thing is he wasn't suicidal. Remember the OP said Darius had just gotten off the tread mill. Why would a suicidal person be worried about fitness?

Here is a blog-news site that includes various comments from three different people that personally knew Darius.

One person is Sheila (must be the family friend and bookkeeper mentioned at the beginning of this thread)

The others (MaxNerdicus & family member Alyssa) both saw Darius in less than favorable light.

Although I have not heard from Darius for several years, I knew him and liked him. Darius was one hell-of-a likeable guy, but he certainly had a penchant for larceny. Additionally, Darius was a highly trained USMC EOD technician with an expertise in explosives and weapons of all sorts.

I haven't a clue as to why the FBI wanted him; accept to say that it does not surprise me. Since the day I first met Darius I have always believed he would die hard. Why he chose to fight, I have no earthly idea. I would suspect he chose to die fighting as opposed to going to back to prison for what may have well been the rest of his natural life.

From 1997 to 2002, or there abouts, I worked on military criminal appellate defense matters one of which was Sergeant Darius Hill's case. Convicted by a General Courts Martial of larceny, he served prison time in the Brig aboard Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune. When paroled he was subsequently transferred to federal parole jurisdiction in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Although his untimely death saddens me, my sympathy rests not with Darius, but with his aged Father John, his mother, his wife and children. Interestingly, Darius never made the connection that the decisions he made adversely impacted the lives of a great many innocent people who loved him.

I certainly do not fault the FBI, because I believe they had substantial evidence of Darius' involvement in some criminal matter which I would suspect would be in the arena of weapons and explosives; furthermore, I believe the FBI had probable cause and sufficient evidence to convince a federal judge to issue the search warrant they requested.

Hopefully, at some point, we will all know why Darius chose to fight as oppose to surrendering himself to the FBI. Although at this point, it is none of my business, I for one would certainly like to know what he was involved in, as it is my prayer that he rest in peace!

I see only some people thought of this from a military perspective, but there seems to me three options:

1. He needed to be killed and was shot, but they knew it was unnecessary so they found his gun and shot him with it after the fact. But then, why 5 shots to kill him?

2. He threatened to kill himself and then tried and they shot him. Also makes no sense.

3. He pulled his gun TO kill himself and the FBI figured he was going to shoot them, so they acted at the same time and shot him. Assuming he was going to kill himself why would he shoot through the cheek/jaw?

If the FBI reacted quick enough and shot him on seeing the gun, it would explain if he 'missed' in trying to commit suicide. I find this most probable.

But then comes the question, why would he kill himself?
If he was in an anti-government militia, and as a marine, would he not go out shooting THEM?
Did he kill himself to not face his family because he actually had child porn, even though he adored and would probably like to see his girls again?

If I may play Devil's Advocate for 1 moment here. I have a couple of things I wanna know......

1. O.P. - Not to be rude, and no disrespect intended, but why is it so important that you find out IF/WHO this bloke was on here???? Why is it so urgent that you find out who he was on here????

2. Does anyone here know for a FACT that this guy wasn't into Child Pornography???? There are plenty of cases out there where the most normal people are found to be paedophiles. Look what happened in Germany (I think it was Germany), where the father was found to have been molesting his OWN DAUGHTER for 20 odd years, and he had had several children with her. Even his OWN wife claimed not to have known about it.

3. Why are so many people on this thread jumping to conclusions and speculating about what happened????? Here is what I know about it - Guy faces 2 court-martials for theft of Military/US Government Property. Spends 4 years in the Brig. Gets demoted from Sgt. to Pte., gets a Dishonourable Discharge. Time passes, FBI comes after him for "Child Pornography" that he has been sending to an (Assistant?) DA. Ends up with 6 bullet holes in him, and he is dead. Now these are the supposed facts, that nobody is disputing, right???

So why, now, is everyone jumping on the "it's a conspiracy/cover-up!!!!" band wagon???? I can tell you now, I have no idea what exactly happened between the guy and the Feds, and I'm not going to theorise, because I don't know. Simple as that. He could have tried shooting them, and they shot him dead. They could have murdered him. He could have tried killing himself, and in a split second reaction, the Agents shot him dead. I honestly don't know, and I will not speculate. Because speculation gets you nowhere.

I would love to know whether he was murdered or not. Honestly. But I don't wanna add more confusion to the topic by saying he was a paedo, or he was murdered, because I have NO BASIS IN FACT TO MAKE THOSE TYPES OF CALLS.

Now that I have got that little rant out of the way, keep digging people. Because I am honestly interested to see where this eventually leads. And before anyone goes off the deep end and says I am a disinfo agent, well I can tell you right now, I'm not, and if necessary, I'll prove it to Springer or any of the other site owners/mods. I just don't like seeing people jumping to conclusions and claiming things one way or another without conclusive evidence to back it up. I love questioning everything, because that leads to progress, but unless I can concretely back up what I am saying, then I would rather say nothing and look intelligent, then open my big mouth and remove any doubt to whether I am or not.
