NATO assets in Turkey are not stationed anywhere near the border Georgia. The Northeast part of Turkey is rugged terrain and mountains, and is a relatively quiet area with little population.
And I have seen absolutely no reports of any NATO or Turkey ground movement.

Are you joking? What are 2,000 troops being pulled from Iraq going to change? Georgia already has 35,000+ near the conflict zone, and have already been pushed out from Tskhinvali.
Russians being pushed back? Don't count on it. Georgia has just suffered a major defeat south of Tskhinvalli. Plus Georgian troops are being raided from Abkhazia in the West. After the second Russian armor column reaches Tskhinvalli, Georgia can forget about South Ossetia forever.
