Lmao .. That typo is quite funny.. Shame the circumstances behind it scares the living daylights out of me.

Am i the only one who finds it slightly suspicious that the Russians lost so many fighters? I wonder how they were shot down. Stingers perhaps? Maybe US air to air ?

I think we all have to agree here that something major is going on and we are basically in a olimpics generated media blackout on the situation.

Small overview of yesterday

Timeline by 12th of August 20:30

12 August

19:10 Russian troops moved towards Khaishi, Svanetia north of the Zugdidi and occupied it. They entered Upper Abkhazia from the east.

18:30 South Ossetian separatists entered village Disevi in Gori district and committed acts of ethnic cleansing, burning houses and attacking population. Russian militaries are witnessing all these and are not reacting.

18:30 South Ossetian separatists entered village Karaleti in Gori district and committed acts of ethnic cleansing, burning houses and attacking population.



18:00 Village Tkotsa Khashuri district 4 bombes were droped. None of them exploded.



18:00 Russian militaries began exploding Georgian ships harbored in Poti port.



18:00 The share holders of Kulevi Terminal have been notifed by Russian militaries about planed bombing of the oil terminal.



17:30 Abkhazian troops mobilized heavy armored vehicles in demilitarized zone in village Ganmukhuri which they took day before and organized customs.

The only logical answer I believe, if this is true, is that Russia is taking Georgia systematically a piece at a time, slowly but surely.

The peace agreement was just to buy time then .. stave of NATO for awhile - keep US and NATO from drafing a resolution that would send peacekeepers to the region.

Russia sure does things in the most weird ill-logical ways, but there is a goal and that one must be to expand and secure the region.

It's a bit confusing. These are Russian tanks? Or Georgian tanks? Georgia has Russian made tanks, no? I find it hard to believe that Abkhazian separatists has driven out Russian forces from Abkhazia, and that they had to "flee" to the Georgian city of Gori...

The Georgians have made that mistake before, confusing their own tanks for Russian tank. But who knows maybe they didn't make that mistake twice.

"1. The landing force consisted of 4000 military personnel, battle tanks and other military hardware have been disembarked by the Russian Black Sea Fleet vessels in port of Ochamchira. The personnel have advanced towards the Kodori Gorge and attacked territory controlled by the Georgian side, while the battle tanks and other military hardware have advanced towards Senaki;

2. The guided missile cruiser has committed missile attack on Kodori;

3. On August 12 at 17.00-18.00 saboteurs have mined and exploded Border Police Coast Guard vessels that were not of military purpose. The Coast Guard vessels granted to Georgia by friendly countries in 1993 being in non operational condition were exploded as well.

4. The attack has been performed by 15-16 naval ships, including Guided Missile Cruiser "MOSKVA”, Landing Ship "Tsezar Kunikov” etc;

5. During communication with the captain of the port Poty vessel "Tsezar Kunikov” was using call-signes "BIGEL156”, "BIGEL159” etc."

TBILISI, Georgia (AP) - The head of Georgia's national security council says about 50 Russian tanks have entered the strategic city of Gori despite a cease-fire agreement.

Alexander Lomaia said Wednesday that the tanks entered the city about 9:45 a.m. (0545 GMT), about eight hours after Georgia accepted a cease-fire previously agreed by Russia to end the conflict that broke out last week.

President Medvedev has handled the crisis very well. The NATO Pact (read USA) has armed and trained this deranged lunatic for over five years now. The swiftness of his defeat demonstrates why 50x richer Finland, which has a longer border with Russia, wants nothing to do with the NATO Pact. This also confirms once and for all that if you have a border dispute with Russia, it is foolish to look for a military solution. Last month's historic land settlement between Russia and China was settled through negotiation and diplomacy and (not sure but probably) involved a larger land area than Ossetia. This story was barely reported by the NATO Pact media. Perhaps they knew what Saakashvili was plotting.

Instead of improving his nation's living standard, modernizing railways, health care, building infrastructure and creating a stable business environment, he chose the path of mass militarization. Under Saakashvili, Georgian military spending per capita ranked fifth in the world. Instead of working within a legal framework to solve the dispute with Ossetia and Abhazia he gambled everything on a swift military solution. He failed.

The USA regime will have a very hard time peddling their obsolete NATO Pact doctrine after this. It hasn't escaped anyone that there appears to be direct correlation between US meddling and a nation's instability.

Lets all just be neutral about this, calling the Georian president a lunatic seems to me a bit biassed, unless your a shrink and had him as a patient.

Both sides, Georgian and Russian are using propaganda, which makes it all too confusing to get a clear picture of what's going on.
