Can this possibly be the shooter?

Seen this on another forum.

Wow....
Well, one thing we know is that the kid in those pictures was accepted to Virginia Tech and he liked guns... Whether or not if that's the guy that did the shooting I don't know. Here is one of his posts on his livejournal account:

To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to be sure to keep it in tact, you must give your heart to no one. Lock it up, safe in the coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless it will change. It will not be broken, but it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.

good find he seems like the likely suspect in the murders.

That's the one. His blog also says he broke up with his girl friend recently, same thing is mentioned in the news story.

I understand but i would still be upset. A guy giving an interview was saying his friend was in one of the rooms that everybody was shot in but escaped injury, even then i would still be shocked/stunned. I am not saying that they arent but this is the first time that i have not seen anyone visibly shaken

BTW the kid who decided to take his camera phone out to tape it is an idiot. Just my opinion but If i was close to the shooter I am running far/fast in the opp. direction. But thats just me

you know what,

we had one school shooting in the United Kingdom, back in 1996...we have a right to bear arms under our Bill of Rights 1689...but you what we did? restricted the sell of firearms and even banned certain types. No school shooting since.

en.wikipedia.org...

Yes, we do have a gun problem still with gangs, but we are putting more tougher laws through Parliament.

Thats what I don't understand about the United States, you can still keep "the right to bear arms", but restrictions should be put in place to protect certain people.

The US isn't nanny state Britain. It is unlikely they will start passing any new laws. Not like they would help anyway. Banning guns certainly hasn't banned violence in this country, with people getting creative and more random here. Sigh.

The early discrepencies in this story over gunman arrested/not arrested, 2 gunman, 1 gunman, are worth noting and remembering for future reference, as they are the earliest reports. In case this whole thing starts getting weirder than it is.

Well, it does seem that people would be upset. I don't have access to a television so I really can't comment. I will say that we are living in a society that has been basically desensitized to most things, especially violence.

Skadi right now the police are saying they stilla re not sure if teh two incidents are connected. Which seems like he is also saying that he doesnt know if there are 2 gunman. When the police chief spoke you can tell by his body language that he might believe there was another shooter.

Here is a nother entry in the boy's livejournal

Don't want to think about it
Don't want to talk about it
I'm just so sick about it
Can't believe it's ending this way

Just so confused about it
Feeling the blues about it
I just can't do without ya
Tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?

Resentment is an emotion of anger felt as a result of a real or imagined wrong done. The English word has become synonymous with anger and bitterness.

It can be an emotionally disturbing experience that is being felt again or relived in the mind.

It seems this kid was having some hard times.

I still trying to work out a motive, what would drive someone to go out and kill 33 people?

police have no ID on the shooter.

The same thing that would lead the Pres to end his speech at 16:04 on 04/16.

Has nothing to do with flesh and blood.

If it is indeed the kid with the livejournal account, there are two things that are obvious. He was obsessed with guns and women.

"restrictions"

Thats the problem now!, If those students had still had the right to carry a concealed weapon(with permit of course) That "lone gunmen would have been turned to swiss cheese after the first 2.

Gun laws only benefit the criminals and a mad government.

The united States was founded on the law of the gun, in the hands of the just.

Because .002% of the population are nuts and kill with a gun, Your solution is Restrictions"? That makes no sense, I guess if he used a butter knife , we have to spread our butter with a spoon from now-on, or atleast untill some nut job killed with a spoon....

WAKE UP!

JEEZ

some of you people ( I mean sheeple) deserve to be enslaved....

infinite,

You may be thinking to hard. Why? You are trying to rationalize this logically. Something snapped and this particular individual was not thinking or rationalizing logically, unless you are in their particular situation it will be hard to guess.

But here is mine.

There was something extremely wrong here. Drugs, Alcohol, emotional instability coupled with a sociopathic tendency? Who knows? It will be similar most likely to Columbine and possibly overuse of Prozac or some mind altering drug where the person became ultra paranoid.

I would wager a prescription drug in this case.

My heart and sympathy's go out to all the loved ones that will have to deal with this loss and tragedy for the rest of their lives.

like I asked earlier, where would the banning stop? I mean, would we also be required to cut off our hands so we are no longer able to strangle? How about pointy sticks? Pieces of metal? Knives? Forks? Frying pans? Where would the banning stop?

Anyway, this isn't really what this thread is about, but you do bring up a good point.

FOXNews was discussing this.

It could be an ultra paranoid person who just went "insane", if i can use that word.

You see, they expect someone to make the leap from there that anyone who suspects that there are things happening that shouldn't be are prone to do things like this.

Notice that every time something like this happens, the media labels them "paranoid" or "delusional." They want people to think that others who question the status quo are prone to acts such as this. This whole thing stinks in my opinion.
