I think he's referring to this thread about the DOE's website. I guess there's evidence of Ununpentium. Element 115

Thanks for the link

Any evidence it's a fuel source for alien spaceships?

What kind of evidence are you looking for?
If you're looking for corroborating evidence its all in the thread.

Haven't seen evidence. He said, she said -- at best. And I saw a dinosaur last night, in my backyard. Too bad it's gone.

Defender of sanity you must be joking. Muhahahaha. What do you know about particle physics and cryogenics? Let alone what he claims in his story.

Luck would have it I know a lot abut particle physics. Cryogenics -- not so much, I have basic training in nuclear instrumentation and high vacuum but am not familiar with much detail of design of cryogenic equipment. Got burnt with liquid nitrogen? Yes, a few times.

Hahaha. I can see we are polar opposites in our education. I'm more of a nuts and bolts guy. But don't hold that against me.

Any kind of evidence that corroborates Bobs story of it being used as an alien fuel source would be great.

Do you mean you are an expert in cryogenics?

No. I assume your not an expert in particle physics either.

Do not assume. Sorry Beavis, but I kind of really am. I'm not going to knock you for not being one. It's good that you are a nuts and bolts guy. I'm a half decent woodworker and tinkered in electronics when I was a kid.

You started the assumptions by calling me out. You know what they say about assumptions right?

Beavis, I don't have a hatchet to bury. Let me be. I've done enough work in nuclear and particle experiments to shed some light on whatever discussion may happen here. I work for Atlas now. When googling, add 'LHC'.

Muhahahah. How can you have experience in particle physics and not have an understanding of cryogenics.

Yes, you can. Particle physics can be done w/o cryogenics in a lot of cases. Understanding? I do have understanding but can't claim expertise. Just being to the point here.

As I said, I worked with cryogenic equipment a little bit. Doesn't change a thing.

So we can agree. Bob's story is plausable in scientific terms.

No we can't agree. No, Bob's story is not plausible in scientific terms. Element 115 was discovered (in the amount of a few nuclei) and it does not possess the qualities attributed to it by Bob. When I watch any of Bob's videos, 20% of each actually does make a little bit of sense, but the rest is pure nonsense.

When he claimed he makes isotopes in his backyard using a particle accelerator I just winced.

You can't knock Bob for drawing the public’s attention to science. But to make an absolute assumption is just ignorant. Thank you for your ignorance.

It's interesting to say the least

No I can't. I like it when the public has interest in science. But in all honesty I think that Discovery channel is a much better source of info for inquisitive minds. Bob (unfortunately) feeds you disinfo. Sorry but that's true.

It's kind of like a charlatan claims that an herb cures 3 grave deceases. While it may excite your interest in medicine and well-being, it still is a lie when investigated.

Thank you for showing your true colors. If being closed minded was an attribute you would be well endowed.
