You read my mind, excep the birthday bit of course.

I didn't quite understand whether Simone is back to life or it's the other girl just morphing as her?

I'll watch it again.

It was the other one morphing into her. Simone is dead.

When I first saw her alive I thought it was a huge cop out, but it was actually quite clever what they did there!

thanks for that, it's what I thought originally about Simone then I thought I must have missed a few seconds or something and she was back to life.

Awsome episode in all.

Have you heard the spoiler rumors and the comments by Kring? He plans to kill off most/some/all of the characters at the end of this season in ep 20 and the new season, which has been green-lighted will be a new story line.

One spoiler says that all the chars will be killed off in ep 20.

Nobody is safe. He did say in a recent interview that next season will be a new story with new characters.

Also thought I'd toss this out there, just a funny coincidence.

Last moth I casted Missy Peregrym (the new morphing girl on Heroes) in an Alpha Flight movie.
Casting Call: Alpha Flight The Movie. I had no idea she'd be on Heroes.

Wait, they've got to have one or two characters carry over to season two.

At least keep Primatech as the bad guys. It wouldn't make sense if they all of a sudden stopped hunting heroes in season 2.

I thought last nights episode was very good.

I think next episode is going to be about Hiro and the world after the 'splosion...and peter and mohinder taking down syler.

In terms of who ain't a comin back I would doubt that claire, Peter, Nathan and Hiro would not be in next season...especially since Claire, Nathan and Peter are so interconnected and their stories aren't even through being told.

I also think Hiro and Peter end up working together in the future so Hiro and Pete will definitely be back.

I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

I also think LIndermen will end up being a good guy who does things in a bad way...like killing feds.

Just my opinion...but man that was good stuff.

I also still think Peter will end up killing syler in the next episode...or hurt him badly.

Peter Vs Syler.

They are the two power houses of the show but who has the upper hand here?
Syler seems to have way more control with telekinesis compared to Peter. If it came down to who could out TK the other I believe Syler would win.
So what does Peter have that Syler does not? Regeneration could be what saves his butt, however this is a only a defensive ability so it wont help to put Syler out for good. Peter has flight so he may grab Syler and take him to the skies where he would have more of an advantage.

How will Peter take out Syler for good? Next episode may be the one where we finally see Peter use the powers he absorbed from future Hiro..

Interesting, in part that was going to be my response to your query, in that I think why Peter will win against syler is that Peter's strenght is his ability to absorb powers, it's only a matter of time before peter absorbs or mimics sylers...all of sylers powers.

Claude taught him well and he's getting better and better at using his unique ability.

I think also that Peter's character may not infact be mimicing or absorbing powers but in fact carries these powers around with him, he can do it all.

He just doesn't know how to unlock them. So while it appears he is mimicing or absorbing others powers, I think perhaps the other heroes he encounters are the keys to unlocking the dormant powers within him.

Just a theory.

I was flipping through the channels and saw a small segment done on "E! News," where they said the next episode will have heroes fighting other heroes, 5 years in the future.

This will likely be an episode focused on Hiro, and his future self, after he had teleported himself and his friend to the future.

Invisibility will probably be the deciding factor in this. My fear is of Peter starting to gain powers that Sylar already has under control but Peter hasn't had the time to master. Take a look at that super-hearing. What happens when Peter gains this power, and is stunned and unable to cope with the sudden bursts of piercing noise?

I think the main difference is that peter seems to naturally be able to use or mimic other powers while syler needs to literally steel them and acquire them.

As I stated before, one of my theories is that peter is not actually mimicing powers of other "heroes" but in fact is a sort of key a person who has all the powers of every hero either laying dormant or slowly being activated.

So for me when it comes down to Peter vs. Syler the question isn't will peter use or absorb sylers powers or use the powers he's already unlocked.

But will Peter unlock new powers perhaps not yet seen during his big confrontation with syler.

Just a theory however.

Perhaps his fight with Syler overloads him and that is what causes the explosion...if the explosion comes to pass.

We've seen what happens to peter when he gets overwhelmed with powers, perhaps the fight with syler pushes him to his limit unlocking an unstable power, hence...boom!

Again just a theory.

Yeah, but Peter has shown that he can't control powers right off the bat. Even Sylar takes a little work, as shown with the super hearing.

And, when Peter first meets anyone, his powers are out of control. Sylar has already trained his ears, but Peter hasn't.

Peter's gonna freak out and Sylar's gonna whoop him a bit. Then Peter's gonna come back with a devastating right to the dome. In the end Peter wins. We know this because Hiro already came from the future, and told him that he either wins or draws, but survives.

Wow you guys and the super hearing thing just got my brain going.

We've seen Nathan fly pretty fast. Maybe even break the sound barrier.

What if Peter takes Syler to the skies and causes a sonic boom? How will Syler's super hearing (which he can't turn off) like that?

I'd like them to keep Sylar as a bad guy till season two. The idea is just awesome. A bad guy who gets stronger with everyone he kills. And, has the distinct capability of being invincible with every new kill. Imagine if he had killed Claire or taken Eden's power of persuasion.

Speaking of which, did Peter ever come in proximity to her?

There is a Heroes Wiki that is doing a pretty good job of keeping things up to date.

Here is the entry on Peter.
heroeswiki.com...

Powers Mimicked

To date, Peter has conclusively duplicated the powers of:

* Flight from Nathan Petrelli. (Genesis, Don't Look Back, Unexpected)
* Precognition from Isaac Mendez. (Don't Look Back, Hiros, Distractions)
* Regeneration from Claire Bennet. (Homecoming, Distractions)
* Telepathy from Matt Parkman. (Fallout, Distractions)
* Invisibility from Claude. (Godsend, The Fix, Distractions, Unexpected, Parasite)
* Telekinesis from Sylar. (Homecoming, Unexpected)
* Space/Time manipulation from Future Hiro. (Collision, Hiros, Unexpected)
o Peter appeared to be immune to Future Hiro's effects. Peter was able to communicate with Future Hiro and is at this point the only person Future Hiro has visited and spoken to. Whether this was Peter's or Hiro's doing is unclear.
o Peter slowed and then stopped time when attacked with taser darts.
