I thought that peter used his telekinesis to stop those darts. They dropped immediately afterwards. If that was time manipulation then they should have flew right on when time sped back up.

Other than that, it's doing pretty good.

Here is the entry on Peter.
heroeswiki.com...

Powers Mimicked

To date, Peter has conclusively duplicated the powers of:

* Flight from Nathan Petrelli. (Genesis, Don't Look Back, Unexpected)
* Precognition from Isaac Mendez. (Don't Look Back, Hiros, Distractions)
* Regeneration from Claire Bennet. (Homecoming, Distractions)
* Telepathy from Matt Parkman. (Fallout, Distractions)
* Invisibility from Claude. (Godsend, The Fix, Distractions, Unexpected, Parasite)
* Telekinesis from Sylar. (Homecoming, Unexpected)
* Space/Time manipulation from Future Hiro. (Collision, Hiros, Unexpected)
o Peter appeared to be immune to Future Hiro's effects. Peter was able to communicate with Future Hiro and is at this point the only person Future Hiro has visited and spoken to. Whether this was Peter's or Hiro's doing is unclear.
o Peter slowed and then stopped time when attacked with taser darts.

And here's what we have on Sylar

Acquired Powers

Sylar has acquired a number of powers. In order, Sylar has acquired:

* Telekinesis from Brian Davis. (Six Months Ago)
* Cryokinesis from an unknown victim. (used in Don't Look Back and Road Kill)
* Eidetic memory from Charlie Andrews. (stolen in Seven Minutes to Midnight, used in Road Kill)
* Liquefaction from Zane Taylor. (Run!)
* Enhanced hearing from Dale Smither. (Unexpected)

During their conversations, Sylar and Mr. Bennet confirmed that Sylar has additional powers (Fallout), but not all have necessarily been identified. Based on Mohinder's statement to the authorities (Fallout) that six people from his father's list have been murdered by Sylar (not including Zane Taylor), it's likely that Sylar has at least eight acquired powers: the six Mohinder mentions, plus Zane Taylor's and Dale's.

Scientists at the Company studied Sylar and confirmed that he has additional powers, but they were not able to identify any other than telekinesis. (Godsend)

It looks like Peter comes out ahead in the total powers field. Can we also assume that Peter has whatever powers Sylar has based on his proximity in the battle.

One must wonder though. If Sylar won the battle outright, he would no longer have a need to kill heroes to acquire their abilities. It looks like this battle is a win/win scenario.

peter should have all the powers Sylar had prior to their meeting up at the homecoming. He will, now soak up the rest. Peter is Sylar + the others who sylar never got to(hiro, nathan, claire, isaac, claude etc)

If Peter does, finally, have control of them all, he should kick the snot out of Sylar

I'd like to ask everyone a question....

Do you think Sylar would be more or less dangerous with Peter's powers?

With the powers there would be no need to kill any mutants. However, he's already shown that he has no problem killing innocents (the beer truck delivery guy for example).

What do you guys think?

Sylar never really stated why he needs all these powers. Question. Was Sylar ever even hit with one power or did he find a way to swipe the first power from someone else?

He has a compulsion to gain the powers. He's not building up to anything, just his own perfection. If that perfection could be obtained without killing, I don't think he would kill.

Sylar's natural power is to understand the inner workings of complex things. That's why he was a watch maker. That''s how he's able to figure out how the Heroes brains work, and manipulate his own DNA to do the same.

Okay,

I know they've been showing episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis in the UK ahead of their April 23rd US premier. Does anyone know if something similar is going on with Heroes? Are they playing it on schedule where we take a break before sweeps?

Unlikely I know, but I hold some hope.

Best I can tell the UK is only at episode 11

www.scifiuk.com...

One time parts of Canada got to see an episode one day early. I'm not sure what the circumstances were for that.

Actually, Other thatn people in the media, we in the UK are only up to Chapter five (Were Peter takes the painters power of painting future to find the cheerleader.)

It's being played on Sci Fi channel once a week, with repeats...

Gotta say though, being a Lost fan i'm loving this...

Just read this today. Seem some people are now suing the Heroes creators for stealing their idea:

news.yahoo.com...

This could probably signal a major change in the plot line NBC loses the case. :shk:

And so they should. They've ripped off quite a few plotlines from other comics e.t.c.

I still enjoy the show but I know it ain't a beacon of originality.

the last episode showed Claire and old lady patrelli so I think it is safe to assume that she'll be meeting peter very soon

Yes, and did it seem to anyone else that old lady patrelli seemed to know that claire was family? Just a hunch....
