Hellz yeah! I've been pumped about him being on the show for months now. I made a post about it in thread somewhere. (I can relate to the invisible man. Sometimes no one sees my posts
)

I really like the turn out of Nathan being Claire's dad because it means that Peter is her uncle. Over at a heroes forum that I visit they were all going around thinking Claire and Pete were going to become a couple

They really teased about HRG's first name this episode. First with Syler holding his ID and then again at home his wife almost said it.

I went digging for a screen cap of his ID and here it is.

It just says Bennet

ODessa? weird I live in this hellhole, I dont watch tv though

Can't this show be more than an hour long...

Are you telling me they couldn't just cancel the 7 & 9 (Central) time slots and not just go 3 straight hours?

How about One espisode a night?:bnghd::bnghd::bnghd::bnghd:

So the newest Hero, the dude from the Burger King commercials, has what power exactly? When Sylar walked in at first, I thought the guy's powers were to create portals (which would be the best power so far), but all he does is melt things?

DJ, what made you think he created portals?

And, how can you think "all he does is melt things"? That's one of the coolest powers. Imagine being able to walk up to a tank, put your hand on it, and watch it turn to a pile of goo. It would be awesome.

I can do that with a burrito. it takes about 20 minutes which kinda bites but still, I can do it.

The positioning of melted things all around the room, including on walls, made it look like different colored holes/portals he could go through.

Sure you could melt a tank, but how much effort would it take to evade it shooting at you?

well, we learned about Bennet and we found that he wasn't all bad although, with the memory wipe, he might wind up being a baddie but it would seem that with Parkman as his new partner, things might not be that way.

What I found confusing was the issue with what it was, exactly, that they were doing. They seemed to imply that the "mutants" were being exterminated and then it seemed to imply that they weren't doing that, merely trying to protect them from what? themselves? going public? Anyway, that aspect was a bit muddled in my eyes but I'm a bit of a dolt.

Another issue that will probably go unresolved is the radiation poisoning that anyone in the house would surely be hit suffering from and the neighbors all seeing radiated claire heal herself.

It looked to me like they were just studying them. Not towards some ultimate goal necessarily, just to understand the "mutant" factor. They had to keep it top secret, which leads to horrible horrible things of course.

But C'mon

Hiro's dad is one of the baddies!!! He knows Hiro has powers, so now I wonder if he wanted him to come home for his own protection, or if he had ulterior motives.

I still don't know if they are so bad. Yes, they want to get the mutants into primatech for study but they release them. They were trying to stop Sylar, which means they can't be all bad.

They were trying to study Sylar. They had ample opportunity to stop him by killing him, but they didn't. On top of that, they won't think twice about killing innocent people. For example, they would have killed Mr. Bennett's wife if they didn't have the Haitian wipe her memory.

You know, I was telling my brother that I wouldn't be too surprised if it turns out the good guys (Heroes) are actually the bad, or destructive force and the bad guys (Syler) ends up saving the world by killing the Heroes.

What a plot twist that would be, huh?

The Heroes are 'good' in terms of intent and motives, but if their power is not used correctly by them, they might actually be a force that works against humankind and the good of the Earth.

The Baddies (Syler) might be of bad intent and motives, but by killing off the dangerous mutant Heroes (particularly Nuclear man and Power-Suck Man) he ends up saving the world from the holocaust that's being predicted by Painter-Man.

Probably too out there for the show, but they said there'd be twists, so this is the first twist I thought might be happening.

well Peter does destroy NYC in the visions so I'm gonna say he ain't all good. intentions aside of course

Nah, NY won't be destroyed, we all know that. The question is how is it avoided.

of course it doesn't get destroyed, unless the whole set up of the season is to take all these heroes and kill them off in the nuclear explosion and then start season two with an x-men type scenario where the world hates these mutants and wants to get rid of them.
