Heroes (Season One)

I've been watching The 4400 again recently and I'm starting to notice more parallels than I'd like to to Heroes. As a matter of fact, I see powers being directly taken from 4400 (although not necessarily original powers)

But so far I see.

Interracial couple with powers, who has a child with powers
Telekinesis
Telepathy
Precognition
Freezing
Interaction with mechanical or electronic devices
Healing factor
suggestion


And I'm sure there are others. It's starting to make me a little annoyed at the lack of originality, on both parts.

What still confuses me is how does that explosion end the world? They keep saying "Save the cheerleader, save the world," but how would stopping the explosion in one city keep the world safe?

And my vote for Linderman goes to Jonathan Frakes or Kenny Rogers (yes, I'm being serious )

Just had a chance to look closely at the Heroes spot, and I can tell you without a doubt, who it is.

Donald Sutherland. 100% sure.

I agree, you have the right guy and it is not Donald Sutherland.

Yeah, someone at TVGude had the scoop. So unless it is a red heiring put out by the producers, that is they guy to play Linderman.

or destructive force and the bad guys (Syler) ends up saving the world by killing the Heroes.

I'm pretty sure Peter is going to kill Syler in this monday's episode or hurt him badly.

The commercials seem to imply Peter gets hurt or killed but I think considering he's been getting better at his chameleon power thingy that he's going to turn the tables on syler.

I also don't think Peter blows up new york. In one of the dream sequences (there were two or three?) each edited slighly different. Pete's brother comes up to him saying he wont live him and looks like he's about to take off.

If he takes him high enough no fire...right?

Also before I forget, considering Mr. Bennet adopted claire it's possible Hiro is not Sulu's son after all but another of the children under the care of the group.

I think the idea is that if the city blows up then things would worsen in the middle east and then it will bring the downfall of nations... it's just a theory though

All I have to say for now is "wow." I'm still taking it in. It end with a pretty huge cliffhanger.

and it looks like i am missing a huge amount of great tv...
