I just thought of something. You know in episode 11 when peter has the vision of the future and he sees himself blowing up. Simone was still alive in that timeline so was that a plothole or has the timeline changed since then?

I don't remember seeing Simone in the premonition, but more than likely, it might have been that new girl than can morph.

Btw, if no one knows about it yet, you can submit your theories to NBC here:

My theory? NBC has run out of ideas for the show after that lawsuit and now they need to find free ways of hiring writers

You are right iCEdTenG, she was in the vision.

Likely it really was a continuity error. I've read that the creative staff had a hard time deciding what direction they wanted to go with Simone.

Or.....

The vision wasn't a completely literal one. Possibly Peter was not in control of this foresight ability, and incorporated his own fears into an already confusing "nightmare" vision. After all, what's scarier than blowing up the city, and everyone you love? Watching your only love stolen away just before it happens.

Probably a continuity error, but I prefer to not think of continuity errors as they take away from the show. I prefer to make up stuff that works on many levels, for the time being anyway.

yes, its very interesting...The question that came to my mind was this: If the powers are hereditary (as shown by Claire and Mika), are Nathan and Peter the first of their family or...Is their "father" not their father?

Also, does Linderman's healing power only work on others or is it also like Claire's and work on himself as well?

If you're not reading the graphic novels, and are a fan of the show, you should. It fills in a lot of gaps in the series and also opens up new possibilities behind some of the character motivations.

Where's my graphic novel?!

I'm hooked on this show in the biggest possible way. I'm loving the graphic novels, though I'm bummed this week's hasn't come out yet, even though it's the '6 of 6' for this story arc in the novels, which will come in line perfectly with its return next week. Looking forward to a collector's edition DVD boxset with bound copies of the novels included. That will be sweet.

In terms of the vision, I don't think you can leap to 'continuity error' right away. Perhaps I'm just a huge Heroes apologist. Strike that, I'm definitely a huge Heroes apologist, but this is a vision in Peter's head. Sure there's prophetic elements in there, but it's my feeling is that any vision of beyond is gonna have some interference from the mind of the person who is receiving it.

EDIT: Strike that too. It's out. Awww yeah.

Right this is a question for all the people who are past the Six Months Ago Episode.

This could all be wrong, I don't know!

It occured to me when Chandra Saresh was telling Sylar about souls being in the brain if they are there at all.
I don't think sylar had any real power except hightened senses, but he can absorb peoples souls somehow (that is his power), then you have Nikki/Jessica, it seems to me that Nikki somehow absorbed her dead sisters soul, I still can't figure out how her split personality power will be of much use, unless jessica has superstrength, she did mess some people up real good.

Anyway back to Sylar, I wanna know what he does with the brain to take the soul, he's a talented watch maker with some presision tools, does he operate on the brain or something???

Obviously now he can do all sorts, like cutting heads off with his finger but how did he do it in the begining???

I don't know about the 'absorbing people's souls', nor the fact that his only power was heightened senses, but exactly what Sylar does with the brains seems to be the most heated discussion regarding this show. People seem to be split into 'eats the brains' and 'studies the brains to see how they work' camps. I tend to think the latter is more likely as the former is too schlock for the tone of the series.

Also, Sylar had a power before he met Chandra, it was (bio)mechanical intuition. That is: a natural understanding for how things work, mechanical and physiological. Heightened senses are dealt with later in the season (I get the impression you're only up to Six Months Ago so I don't want to go into too much detail) and they are very clearly heightened.

Yeah, just saw "six months ago ep" on sunday.

The reason I said heightened senses is because I saw him listeneing to the watch, as if he could feel it. but Bio-mechanical intuition sounds more how the show would put it. I assume this is the same or similar to what Mika can do.

He surely has to do more than study the brains to take their powers?

I say about the souls because of what Saresh said about it being in the brain and that (I assume) is were their powers come from, then Sylar cracks a guy head open to get to the brain and suddenely has his power (telekinesis).

Then in the exact same episode we find out that Nikki had a sister and that sister(Jessica) is her other personality, and if she is in Nikki's mind for real then that must be her soul.

Maybe Peter can tune into peoples souls and briefly has their powers.

I get the impression that Souls will play a big part in this story and I really think Sylar can absorb them somehow.

So is there still alot to be explained were your up to?
Which episode is it up to in the States or other Countries?

(P.S.) Did anyone else notice Sylar's resemblance to Clark Kent, Maybe he's like superman gone bad???

Right you are. Heroes doesn't frustrate fans so much that they make hate sites for it
