I recall the thousands who came out to pay homage to Alexei Anatolyevich Navalny after his murder by The Russian State. And also all those who where to afraid to come out in public. None wanted Putin the election cheat to be their President.

Even if inert, it was still a wicked display of the kinetic energy involved.

The strike looked like a natural phenomenon akin to a cluster of meteorites slamming into a relatively small area in succession.

Imagine chilling on your front porch at night and seeing this in the distance. Air strikes alone are bad enough, but this is in another league of “sh*t your pants” moments. Looked basically War of the Worlds like.

As for all of Russia being behind him, there are a few notable exceptions, who are mostly dead or in prison.

Bearing in mind, that if Russians voice any criticism of his Special Military Operation, or call it what it is, his War, that Gulag awaits.

Not saying anything about that as I do agree it is quite a powerful thing. What I was correcting is that it didnt turn the target into dust or any of that wild stuff. It was basically 36 approximately 250kg metal chunks hitting the ground at mach jesus...while powerful the building was still standing and people were on the roof putting out fires around big holes where the warheads hit.

I think he said that it was built by the USSR long ago. It was now a Ukrainian weapon's plant after they broke away from Russia a while back. Until I read the whole post I was confused a little at first but noticed it said USSR, not Russian.

It was an impressive missile that Russia launched. I don't think the USA and Britain should have allowed Ukraine to use those weapons, Biden only allowed their use after the Democrats lost to get back at Trump...and his supporters along with Democrats that did not vote for Kamala. I think that was wrong myself, sabataging the nation because the Democrats did not retain their political power is evil.

You lot are all as bad as each other, you come across as sports fans.
You've picked your team and will cheerleader and support them to the end, even when both sides commit heinous acts in the name of someone else's greater good.

I believe it was in a vid I posted it on in another thread I’ll try and find and get it to you.

The footage in question looked to me like it blew through the roof of the building straight up and down vertically. Looked like it hit dead center.

Everyone on the forum knows that I am very well versed not only in world history, but also in Russian history. Slavery, human trafficking - this is a purely Western invention. There are no such facts in Russian history.

Without weighing into the nitting and natting here (again), this is a pretty remarkable weapon when you think about it.

Yes, it's just some chunks of metal impacting things, but hey, a bowling ball going mach 11 hitting your house is going to do some serious damage just from the kinetic energy alone. These things were 10x the size of a bowling ball.

I'm confident the cost benefit analysis doesn't work out very favorably for a weapon like this, but on the psychological side...you don't hear it coming until after it hits, and the shock wave from the sonic boom must be incredible when you do hear it. Of course, you don't see it until the last second, and all you see when you do is just a plasma streak. Must scare the bejeezus out of people.

I doubt these things were still traveling at mach 11 when they were near the ground though, but still well above mach 2-3 would be my guess, depending on shape. They might have accelerated to mach 11 shortly after apogee, but as the aerodynamic drag increased they would have slowed considerably.

If it had any targeting accuracy at all, then it's a pretty interesting development and probably contains some really valuable kinetic weapon data to learn from.
