A Labour Party PM proposing another round of Austerity targeted at the most vulnerable in our society - shocking.
I honestly never thought I'd see the day.

I know they have inherited quite a few hot potatoes but his solutions seem quite akin to what we'd expect from a Tory government.....perhaps because that's what most of these champagne socialists really are.

Labour sleaze:

BBC News - 'Ants are everywhere': Labour MP's tenants reveal condition of flats
www.bbc.com...

"A Labour MP rents out flats with black mould and ant infestations, the BBC has discovered."

Nice chap.

I suspect he'll be one of many who'll be guilty of such practices.
Shameful.

Unfortunately there have always been unscrupulous landlords who fail to meet the needs of their tenants and who just seek to profit from their circumstances.

More evidence of the 2-party paradigm and the illusion of choice. Whether we vote red or blue they all play for the same corporatist team. We saw that when the puppets on the corporate payroll held hands and dance around Corbyn like a medieval wickerman send off, until the smear campaign removed his threat to corporate profits.

I voted Labour with the marginal hope that Starmer would surprisingly reveal himself to be an actual Labourite. But i'm not at all surprised he's predictably a red tory (read as New Labour mandelson/Murdoch/Thatcherite creature).

But my rationale was that so long as Labour are in power there's a chance Starmer's rightwing pisstaking will fuel a resurgence of that sleeping leftwing rebel alliance and he'll be usurped midterm by a proper Labour PM 🤞

Dont even start me on those bastards.

Private lets and the rights you have as a Tennant are a joke.

And the government and organisations like Shelter UK can't help.

Unless you wish to go live in a hotel with the fecking boat people.

The only way you get out of that hole is to climb monkey, climb!

I'm still a few grand down from the last section 33 we got.

I don't think Corbyn needed any smearing....

Oddly enough, I held my nose and voted Labour, first time ever.

But praying that the looney left didn't come back!

It's a looney bin in which the doctors and the patients are difficult to tell apart. At least with Corbyn we could tell red from blue.

There was definitely a media pile on - Corbyn was given a kicking, with Kuenssberg's stilettos thrashing wildly - after he almost beat May in 2017. Mystery is if that wasn't necessary then why do it?

What i saw was a gravy train of 'left' & right shocked by that close call for their corporatism racket and making sure that it didn't happen again

It came as a complete shock to the pollsters and media. Before you know they're at panic stations ganging up on him. Suddenly he's an anti-semitic Commie etc. Anecdotally (i don't have the links) i recall a great deal of the muck slung at him was proven untrue after he lost in 2019. But the gravy train clearly sh@t it's pants and were taking no chances.

He is pro Hamas, pro IRA, and he wanted to disband the Army.

And build nuclear missile subs, but without nuke missiles.

John McDonnell was a swivel eyed Maoist and as for Dia.......no. Not going there.

Freeborn, don't you dare....

Nothing wrong with being pro IRA.
You do know the IRA got the British to finally sit down and the Good Friday Agreement became of it?

In other words, we achieved peace in no small part played by the IRA.
And before you reply with 'they were terrorist who bombed innocent civillians, its happening everyday now in Palestine.

Unfortunately there were civilian casualties on both sides. We were murdered by the supposedly impartial police force.

If only Thatcher had of recognised our prisoners as political prisoners she would have saved a lot of her fellow country people.

'Unfortunately there were civilian casualties on both sides."

Weasel words.

I remember those IRA bombings of civilians.

The IRA were brought to negotiation because...we had high profile moles in the IRA.

Yeah, but the IRA won "with their bullets and bombs".

No. Just, no.

Palestine?

Had nothing to do with it.
