Russia didn’t go on a spree renaming their streets after some Nazi SS Bandera loser here.

Again, it seems thats all you have to say in every thread. "oh, but some street is named after a nazi", like thats the perfect excuse for Russia to invade Ukraine.

You should maybe recheck your history?
www.timesofisrael.com...

Bandera was a leader of Ukraine’s nationalist movement in the 1930s and 1940s, which included an insurgent army that fought alongside Nazi soldiers during part of the Second World War. Bandera’s supporters claim they sided with the Nazis against the Soviet army, believing that Adolf Hitler would grant Ukraine independence.

Bandera declared independence days after the Nazis moved into Ukraine — a decision that proved nearly fatal because the German Gestapo almost immediately detained him and put him in a concentration camp.Bandera declared independence days after the Nazis moved into Ukraine — a decision that proved nearly fatal because the German Gestapo almost immediately detained him and put him in a concentration camp.

lol you keep defending the Nazi SS sympathizers.

“Yes they are Ukrainian Nazi but good Nazis fighting along Nazis for independence etc etc”

“There’s a lot of streets named after him? It’s just streets named after him!!1!”

Pathetic

Not so fast.

Cloak & Dagger: The Poison Pistol

The 1959 death of Ukrainian Nationalist Leader Stefan Bandera in Munich was officially listed as a suicide. Bandera, apparently, had a sudden seizure, fell and broke his neck. An autopsy revealed traces of cyanide, which Munich police surmised had been self-administered, causing the fall. But last week the case was reopened by the confession of the man responsible for Bandera’s “suicide”—a former Russian secret-police agent named Bogdan Nikolaevich Stachinsky.

As the Ukrainian leader hurried up the stairs of his apartment building one afternoon, Stachinsky stepped out of the shadows to meet him.

The agent was wearing a gas mask, and in his hand he carried a double-barreled air pistol. Aiming carefully, he fired two pellets into Bandera’s face. The capsules exploded on impact, releasing a cloud of cyanide gas. Bandera gasped the fumes and fell unconscious. He died, without gaining consciousness, on the way to a hospital.

Apparently he got shot in the face with 2 cyanide pellets from a pistol.

Hence I edited my post before you quoted me. But he still got shot twice in the face apparently either way

Just out of curiosity, why didn't the article call him out as a Nazi instead of stating that he fought alongside them for the cause of an independent Ukraine?

Destruction of the British Challenger 2 near Sudzha.

Are you celebrating RT? I suppose Putins forces have to get lucky once in a while, there's still at least 12 more out there amongst all the other donated western vehicles now driving around Russia causing chaos.
It's a shame Putin can't see the sad irony of an invading force causing 200.000 civillians to flee! This will be a massive hit to his dictatorship.

www.independent.co.uk...

Meanwhile, a source in the Security Service of Ukraine told reporters that special forces had captured a group of more than 100 Russian soldiers. The 102 servicemen of Russia’s 488th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment and its “Akhmat” unit are the largest group of soldiers to be captured in one go since Russia launched its invasion in 2022.

“They captured and cleared a sprawling, concrete and well-fortified company stronghold from all sides – with underground communications and personnel accommodation, a canteen, an armoury and even a bathhouse,” the source said.

Warning: May contain scenes Putin may find emasculating.

Still stuck on your Russian Nazi propaganda! It's a pity you can't turn that sad infatuation on the neo-nazis in the Wagner group??

I always wondered about those Motorized Rifle Regiments.

About whether they actually do have motors, these days?

They don't seem very mobile.

I'm starting to wonder if Putin now has people who open doors for him, don't want to be touching those door handles.
