If you think that all the political parties don't care what is trending, I don't know what to tell you.

The campaign offices are staffed with people watching what is trending so they can use it in their campaign rhetoric, ads, news interviews...infact all media releases and that includes X

Social media and it's response has become a principal component in political campaigns.

imo...the winner will be determined by how effective the social media presentation by the political parties are.
