This kid apparently was a regular shooter.
If I had to guess, I bet he was trying to use tannerite.
There’s no search history for him looking things up so maybe in his altered state he thought it would work.
I don’t know any shooters who haven’t used it at least once.
It’s easily and readily available and pretty safe.
I’ve used it many times and that big boom makes for alot of fun at the range.

But TV remotes only work a few feet from the TV. You usually have to be pointing the thing directly at the sensor on the TV for it to work.

I don't think you could modify the the thing to set off a bomb. If you did you'd prolly have to get so close you'd blow your self up as well.

TV remote controls have an LED light in them which flashes really quickly to emit a message which is then picked up by the TV.

Breaking news dump: USSS Knew of shooter threat before Trump even took the stage.

The USSS knew the shooter was officially in the area and an actual 'threat' to Trump at least 10 minutes before Trump took the stage.
They knew...and STILL allowed Trump on stage.

They knew where the shooter was going to set up.
They made sure his position would be unguarded.
They knew when he was in position.

They still let Trump go on stage.

They let the shooter take his best shot.

The kid fired 8 shots ..... and if you listen to the report of the rounds being fired he wasn't firing quickly he took his time .

I guess it really was the obvious truth here , I didn't wanna believe the Secret Service just let it happen.
