Sure they needed to ID the weapon before wasting some rando MAGA goofball, but if they were completely unsure if the target was another LEO or SS member...it would explain the gun. Thus, the need for him to shoot first.

It seems like the rooftop itself is the building used by another set of snipers, who remained inside and were not deployed. It's easy to see where the growing level of confusion could come from....

A little more information on the USSS Director.

She was involved in the evacuation of Vice President Dick Cheney on the September 11 attacks

served on Joe Biden's protective detail during the Obama administration, when she was assigned to the Vice Presidential Protective Division.

In 2017 and 2018, she served as deputy assistant director.

She also served as special-agent-in-charge in the Grand Rapids, Michigan office.

She was on BIdens Detail......you really think it is still all on the up and up? She to me is the USSS version of Letita James. Almost seems like she was meant for this right now almost.

Now they're reporting that the shooter used an air conditioning unit to get on the roof.

Hard to see on google maps street view but if what is seen there is the AC unit it looks kinda tall as well.

Used the ladder to get on that and then from there to the roof.

The SS director's excuse that that they didn't put a team on the shooter's roof because it was sloped and would be dangerous to them doesn't smell right.

The two counter-snipers were on another roof with a much greater slope.

Report: Sniper in Building Used by Trump Shooter Saw Him with Rangefinder, Looking at Roof, Returing with Backpack

A Beaver County police officer stationed inside the building used by the gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump saw the would-be assassin with a rangefinder, scoping out the rooftop, and had warned command center about him, according to a report.

The Beaver Countian reported Monday evening that the police officer, who was serving as one of three counter-snipers stationed inside the building as a member of the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit, saw the man return with a backpack before he scaled the building.

The outlet reported that a security operations plan had placed each of the three counter-snipers inside of the building looking out of windows towards the rally, with none stationed on the roof.

At what point do we conclude that they facilitated the shooter's coming in...taking a perfect position...and allowing him to take his best shots... before they killed him?

The whole thing is suspicious.

There were 3 counter snipers underneath the shooter. They see him acting suspicious one of them was probably the one who took a look on the roof and then fled and you know the guys on the barns had to have seen him.

So, CROOKS was just a diversion.

It looks like Trump clutches his right side as he goes down behind the podium. They also carried him out, rather than walking on his own, which is totally plausible with just a grazing ear wound.

I think there's more to the story.

Drones were in the air, unless former/next President Trump's assassination was planned by the Federal Government. Biden, Obama, Hillary, Brennan, Comey... they all wanted him gone. They all want him gone. Trump collected a lot of dirt on Obama and Democrats when he was President, and since. Plus, he knows what levers and buttons to manipulate next time, to expose the crooks, and have them arrested.

Endless posts of people claiming they should’ve put people here, they should’ve there. Maybe just get a grip on reality.

Trump is an ex-President, which gives him a right to personal protection from the ss. That does not mean he has unlimited resources at his disposal.

If he wanted to be fully protected, then it was on him to fork out for an appropriately secure venue.

Some people are saying a second shooter was on the water tower, besides the counter snipers on the barns should have spotted Crooks from their elevation. The first is the view of the roof where you can see the top of the roof from street level and the second is a frame of someone who recorded him in position. I don't buy that those counter snipers couldn't tell that was a rifle.
