I think Noah left them to their fate, perhaps too hard to catch, not to mention the Dragons, can't have a fire breathing reptile in a wooden box...

Why, that is the answer.

Dogs of all shapes, colors and sizes are considered the same species because genetically they are the same.

Dem and repub ostriches are considered different species because they have enough of a genetic difference to call them a different species.

Being able to tell the difference in a pic or IRL means nothing. It ain't rocket science.

So after 40 pages has anyone mentioned the unicorns?

Contrary to popular belief, their farts were not pleasant, they were actually the worst.

They got kicked of the ark and devolved into narwhals.

In the post you responded to.
I required you to bring the genetic differences from whatever study you can find.
But as of now you failed to do so.
Somehow you missed my reference to different color birds or dogs are not species.
Neither for ostrich
It certainly is not rocket science.
It is breeding 101.
So far you failed.

You can't require me to do anything.

I'm thinking someone better equipped than either of us to make that claim did the leg work.

The noah story fails way beyond just ostriches.

What about all species of trees, shrubs, flowers, plants, fungi etc?

Were they all on board, too?

Maybe Noah got a hold of Newton Scamander's magic suitcase.

The entire planet would have died. ALL trees and shrubs and flowers and plants and fungi. The grass would have been dead. There would have been no plants for any of the plant eating animals to eat. They all would have starved to death.

He'd certainly have needed some very strong magic!

He was probably also going to need a bigger boat.

At some point, this bucket of absolute tripe and nonsense aka Noah's magic boat is apt to require its very own forum.

How many threads is that now with all the same sh@te on rinse and repeat ffs.

Not that I'm not interested myself and willing to participate.

Probably float better to.

All aboard!

You mean, it isn't true that Waitrose sells Unicorn food?

Disappointed.

So, what about all the species of trees, plants, fungi etc?

They would all have been killed off in a Flood?

Did Noah collect them and have them on board?

And how did he manage to redistribute them and regrow/plant them all over the World?

Like, for example, the vast Amazon rain forest?

Quite a tall order, no?

I've got your seemingly undivided attention and fascination, that's a given.

Im i your "hobby"? x

And should you not be on the topic of Noahs Ark and the Biblical World?

As opposed to being concerned with what me and carpy2 choose to joke about with one another.

Good questions.

And hence why i introduced the "Newton Scamander's magic suitcase" to the mix.

Which seemed to contain entire miniature biospheres with trees, plants, animals, and i assume fungi.

But the person in question(FS) seems to have some sort of problem with the HP spinoff references.

Strange as well, since they seem to like and entertain the likes of magic books and boats.

Ah well, there is simply no pleasing some people i suppose.

What about them?
Soil bacteria, fungi, microbes, seeds, lay dormant in infertile soil for like forever.
When water is applied the seed grows.
The rizosphere becomes active around roots bringing the microbes, bacteria and fungi back to life.
It takes 7 years to regreen deserts in Africa to where a fruit tree can be sustained.
The soil food web.
All it takes is water to begin to revive infertile soil back to fertility.

These things do not die.
They go dormant.
The Earth is a living creature.
We are part of the Earth.

The Amazon rain forest is overgrowth from man's introduction of agricultural practices.
The overgrowth covered up the cities that housed millions of people just 400-500 years ago.
The 10-20 feet of soil there is called terra preta.

The soil food web is my passion.

As the complexity increases so does the exotic animal life.
How?
I don't know even.
It is actually amazing.
But that's what happens.
Once the micro fungi is established from the complexity the root systems become a living entity that can encompass 100's of thousands of acres that communicate instantaneously through what they call quantum vibrational messaging.
This is done instantaneously communicating miles away.
They found this out by studying the redwood forest.
They considered this forest at the time to be the largest living organism in the world because the micorhizal fungi interconnects the entire forest root system.
To get it started pretty much, just add water.
