wood boats can "last" over 100 years. My point was that they wouldn't be seaworthy.

Depends on the boat and the materials, and if the people working the boat knew what they were doing. A modern boat from the 1800s worked on and maintained by ship builders, using modern materials and sealants ... yes. A boat made in 2400bc with those materials by people who didn't know what they were doing, and left out in the elements .... NOPE.

Have you ever noticed how much less water and food is needed while cooped up and sedated people are through storms and recovery from injury or sickness?
Do not misconstrued what I am addressing from recovery from sickness.
I am addressing the lack of need for water and food when not succumbing to strenuous activity during storms and catastrophes where you shelter in place.
Plus let's discuss what is missing from all historical accounts.
Hemp.
Not cannabis, but hemp.
Considered to be the oldest agricultural commodity began in Mesopotamia.
It's biblical name keneh bosm.
It is the reason for the name Canaan and is historically prevalent in almost every society.
It has all 21 essential amino acids providing a complete protein index.
It has a perfect 3:1 of omega3 to omega 6 fatty acid ratio.
It is nature's most perfect food and used for textiles to animal bedding.
It's use most certainly exploited by Noah and family and extended into Canaan and the Canaanites.
Hemp.
hemplete.com...
Hemp is the only food I am aware of that can sustain life. Honey a close but distant 2nd place.
And if Noah was sprouting seed it would require almost zero sunlight and be the best animal fodder by far for just about every animal including carnivores for short term supplemental nutrition needs for a year or 2 on and off the boat.
During the potato famines entire Dutch communities survived for 2 years with 2 tablespoons of hemp seed oil per day.
I imagine with seed for fodder and oil already pre pressed and in jars the nutritional needs for the humans and 90% of the animals are met quite easily.
Which brings me to an obvious question for today.
Why was hemp production outlawed worldwide except in Russia and China?
How dumb can we be?

Not if it was covered in pitch, which was a known practice among ancient cultures.
Besides all the flood narratives that talk about boats that big.
There's many documents

Was the Ark also a trawler anyway, or was Noah the bestest sports fisherman, like, ever?

Why do you believe Adam was a cave dwelling idiot ...

- You have to prove that Noah would have known how to make the pitch. He wasn't a boat maker.

I'm sure all of those carnivores would have been fine on a hemp diet.
Just how much hemp did he manage to produce to, say, feed a single elephant?
Not to mention the Hippos, rhinos, giraffes etc.
"During the potato famines entire Dutch communities survived for 2 years with 2 tablespoons of hemp seed oil per day."
Do you have a source for that?
