When I say we have to put our faith between two things, either in science, or the bible, here is the perfect example.

You will either put your faith in carbon dating (a theory, which is not always accurate) or put your faith in the bible.

Do you have the gall to say carbon dating is fact, 100% and more valid with more authority than the bible?

Do you see how it all boils down to faith.

Let us not build down our faith, and be arugmentative like the bible says, quick to believe in so called "sciences" these are all biblical commands and words of warning. We should build up our faith, not down.

Why give your fleshly or vain mind reasons, if even for your subconcious mind, to betray your own faith one day, like say in the end times when you have a sword at your through the A.C. system (assuming mid trib), and give your mind a chance to betray you. We should be weeding out these thoughts that try to exalt themselves over over Christ and or obedience to him so we may be patient and endure until the end. That would be hard if you faith is tied to different places, in science/evolution/worldy wisdom, vs faith in the bible.

The flood wasn't a natural event. Why couldn't the mountains jump. God could have caused them to do so because it was SUPERNATURAL, lol. You say, it's impossible? Really? Who are you to say so, on what authority do you speak?

Carbon dating isn't a 'theory'. It's a scientific method. Advances in technology have made it possible to date objects and materials so it is only off by a few decades, at most.

And it's got nothing to do with 'authority'.

I'm not going to blindly believe in a Bible story that is proven not to have happened, simply because it's in the Bible. That would be truly retarded. The fossils on the mountain tops are tens of millions of years old. They are not 4,400 years old. To try to claim that they are only 4,400 years old is absurd. Science proves this and the science hasn't been proven wrong.

I gave the science showing how the mountains were formed over millions of years. If they had jumped up suddenly, the tidal waves and earthquakes would have been massive and destroyed your imaginary ark. DID NOT HAPPEN.
