I got half way through it and gave up.
Nothing on that proves anything that I've posted is wrong,
nothing explains the questions that have been asked about the story,
and nothing proves a global flood happened.

That's the rub, for most Christians, THE BIBLE proves the flood happened, period.

God's Word is enough. I don't care what science says, somehow, someway, its bound to be wrong - because it always has been. Everything I've ever looked at, I found reasons and faith in the accuracy of the bible intact.

ALL THESE are meaningless, but filthy rags, as but dog puke compared to spiritual things, blessings and the LOVE of righteousness, the blessed hope of eternal life, inheriting a world where the meek rule, the poor, where righteousness dwells. The reasons of the hope I have, the assurance of eternal life and the world to come.

Being a Christian is literally like being taken out of the matrix of sin and darkness of the devil, into the true light, the true world.

You are like a 3 dimensional creature of darkness not being able to comprehend a higher dimension of righteousness or see its necessity as being the foundation of existence - time and eternity is impossible without it, nor the laws of the universe, of anthing. Everyone who thinks about it, it's good they do, really good since it shows they are using their heads, usually asks similar questions. Truly, these are all addressed and the info is very easy to find and understand and makes 100 percent sense.

Faith! That is what faith is. I have faith, that no matter how things may appear from so called "science" experts, that their data is wrong, incomplete, or there interpretation is wrong and it has always proved to be the case.

At this point, I've learned to hold on to my faith, as moronic or not how some may think it to be, out of meekness and humility towards God. It is in the bible, so I placed my faith in it because I love Him as an obedient son, by His grace, I don't care about anything else but obeying him and abiding in him and his love.

If there is one thing I've learned, is the God loves to see faith in his children, in the world. It makes us His friend! It gives him glory! When Christ comes, all things will be clear. We'll have an eternity of true "science" class learning about God's creation.

It wasn't 8 million animals just 2 of each family "kind"(type), here is a picture and video to help you, since you are having such a tough time grasping the concept



their one year supply of food
Some animal can enter a state of hibernation where they eat nothing, others can get by on less when they are less active, the Ark was huge, to house food with the animals


their one year supply of fresh water
Fresh rain water, it was raining for a long time, after it was finished morning dew would create more fresh H20 another video


So there you go, believe it or not.

Nice post blue jay, also keep it mind, the animals could have been babies or young to preserve space, as I'm sure on of those videos will mention.

The best documentary I've found though is that is genesis history documentary. Love it. I might just watch that again right now.

I know sometimes it can be rough explaining our believes. It's like offering someone the world, trillions of dollars, eternal life, a new spirit, hope of eternal life, and experience in life and life changing proof of God in our changed lives, we want so much to give people Christ - everything! We found something so special, or rather, we were given something so special by God, to belive in Him.

The thread creator, to get right down to it, nothing we say, or show you, or how many times we go back and forth - n o t h i n g, will or can prove to you to cause you to believe the bible. Only God.

The only way you will come to understand what we are talking about, the bible, and completely have your entire world and life thrown upside down from science to faith in Christ, is to ask God to show you.

That's it, my friend.

You have to ask God to show you these things, for they are indeed hidden from you, in plain sight. They are being concealed to you. I don't know why they are being concealed. Perhaps God is waiting for the spark of faith to come in you - to ask him to show you, just might be that spark. Perhaps the devil is concealing it. Regardless, you must be shown, you must be allowed to believe and you must be called.

If you call on Him, truly, you are called.

A place to start is to ask Him to open your eyes, to show you, and truly be open to it. Are you opposed to eternal life, at this moment? What absurd and pitiable creature would so deem themselves unworthy of eternal life by not atleast asking God for it, to atleast see if it might be true.

It is. This isn't a figment of my imagination. Someone doesn't just wake up one day loving righteousness more than the very universe and their own life. It's a gift from God, for the meek, humble, and broken, who call upon Him, truly.

I did not say it proves it, nothing can prove it. I said there was some compelling evidence, like the dinasour-mega mammals, fossils. They explained it very well. Also halfway isn't enough to discard the evidence they provided. You have to watch it all, I know time is a premium for all of us. I agree that many biblical stories seem to require a supernatural force at work. I don't get it all but I have faith. Funny thing is so many discount God, Jesus and the bible but when the shiit hits the fan many fall to their knees and pray to God, Jesus.

You are confusing 'breed' with 'species'. 8 million SPECIES were needed to be on the ark in order to get the diversity of animal species on this planet now. Take penguins for example. There are 18 species of penguins on the planet. There would have had to have been all 18 species of penguins on the ark ... not just two penguins but 36 penguins ... because the species don't inter-mate with each other. Each is a separate species unto itself. That's just penguins.

Soddom and Gommorah are a whole different story then Noahs Ark.

I'm trying to determine if you are a Christian. If you are good. God has helped you. If not, may God help you.

Our hearts are desperately wicked btw, we can deceive ourselves.

I've heard this argument before but it doesn't work. Like I just showed with the penguins, each species has to be included. It can't be just two of the 'kind' or we wouldn't have the animal diversity with species we have today.

It rained for 40 days. They were in the ark for months and months afterwards. The 'morning dew' would not be enough for all the animals.

So there you go, believe it or not.

Well ... at least you gave it a shot. But no, it doesn't make it.
