unless you are involved in the woke game and profit from it, who really has time for politics at work?
Not so much the being awake game rather in keeping up with a changing culture...keep up or go down.
Respectfully if the culture changed enough nobody would be going to those businesses and they wouldn't have to be protested or cancelled.
Instead, they do have clientele and a viable business but unless they conform and have a rainbow flag instead of an American one they are subject to ridicule harassment, or worse. Just because a percentage of people feel disrespected doesn't give them the right to destroy a business.
Because where we are at now we are so evenly split, they can't cancel a business with just a boycott, now it has to be on social media, and both sides do this.
Sure neighborhood activists used to work great when it's a strip club or porn shop, LOL now a church will get chased off if it tries to open up on an atheist's turf.
I don't care what a business does as long as it is legal.

The only people not being "accepted" into society are those that expect and demand to be treated differently and better than everyone else.
Take a look around grandma, this aint the 60s.
Depends on what you consider social/political issues I guess? To me, having a trans person on the ol' Bud promo was neither political nor social. It was a move to show they are inclusive towards all their consumers?
Would you be offended if Bud Light next had a black person promoting their product? Same deal.

I would agree it is better as well. But this doesn't really provide any context to how that comes about.
It has to be their choice to not affiliate. They have to choose not to pander. Pissed off shareholders speak loud enough, let their value bring them to a non-affiliated corporate identity.
I hope they preserve a business' right, small or large, private owned or publicly traded, corporate structure or not, to still choose to affiliate or not.
I don't agree with more regulation to enforce businesses take an apolitical stance. As compulsory non-afilliation is a greater form of censorship in my mind.

Let's not kid ourselves. The current young generation and their need for changing culture is going to be the death of all of us, including themselves, because they don't know how to think critically.

The Gen Z is trying to 'fix' the toxicity in workplaces,
And what imagined 'toxicity in workplaces' are you talking about???
You mean like geezer bosses hitting on the young women employees constantly? Or hitting on the young guys as well.
And asking "do you like working here"

I actually got locked in a closet once. Not sure how he thought that was gonna make me change my mind.
Ahhhh, the "Good Old Days" - (unfortunately still with us today).
I'm all for businesses taking a Social/Political stance for protection of their employees.

Let the business take a social political stance and support the existence of the 156 genders and of transhumans...

Plenty of evidence for Mothman.
"Transhumans"?
I don't think that means what you think it does.

This 156 recurring obsession of yours makes me question your motives. Just sayin....
