Businesses do not HAVE to adopt any stance if they want to remain neutral but there are businesses that CHOOSE to embrace the diversity and inclusivity of their majority of customer base which is their right to do. It's simple to understand. What you fail to realize is the majority of humanity embrace the diversity and inclusivity as well some take Jesus' teachings at face value, that being, that we should be tolerant and love thy neighbour.

really though this kind of sentiment is silly anyway, expecting people to be unbiased or objective about society or social issues, because regardless how hard you try to elevate a human upon some pedestal above everyone, in the end they are still human and some statistic wont make corporate bodies or any body which is made up of humans any less biased.
